Btw the previous rule stated "screenshot should be acquired the same month but it should not be held until the end of the month."

Yes correct, yours was technically held back as we are a few days from the end of the month and was acquired 1st March. But since it’s a screenshot that was already used I have accepted and now clarified the rule to one week so we don’t have any confusion

Sorry to point this out but March has 31 days. I posted my screenshot on 25th, we are 6 days away from April. How does 25th qualify as month end?

I did not say the last day of the month did I? I said at the end of the month. The rule wasn’t clear, but it was meant to come across as screenshots shouldn’t be held back “towards” the end of the month and yes I do class 6 days before “towards” the end of the month. You held your screenshot back for 3 weeks but it has been accepted and the rule has been changed.

@cocopop3011 Let me put this in a more easy to  understand way.

Each Accumulator month runs from the 1st to the last day of that month, eg, 1st March to 31st March.

Each screenshot for the Accumulator month, when posted in this topic here, MUST NOT EXCEED 7 DAYS FROM THE CURRENT DATE, eg, screenshot taken on 1st March must be posted in the Accumulator topic not later than 8th March.

Screenshots taken on the last 6 days of each month MUST BE POSTED BEFORE THE NEXT MONTH BEGINS.

Hope I got everything correct there @cocopop3011.

No no.  Screenshots posted in the last 6 days can be posted within those 6 days but you cannot post a screenshot that is older than one week old. But if it goes into a new month that is fine as long as it is less than 7 days old. This is a rolling contest so the months don’t really matter, but you must not hold screenshots back for more than 7 days.

Hmmm, interesting. Since the rule changed today it should come into effect straight away. I’ll think on it and decide later.

You are welcome to retract your screenshots but they won’t be disqualified by me since they were posted before I clarified the 7 day rule.

You are not obliged to do this as I should have been more clearer in my initial post as to how long you can hold these screenshots back. For that reason I cannot disqualify them, I can only impose the new rule.

@cocopop3011 Some years ago, screenshots were awarded points for the various winning multipliers. I like this concept, much better than the current Accumulator concept.

Consider these:

Each 500x - 999x multiplier screenshot gets 1 Point.

Each 1000x - 1499x multiplier screenshot gets 2 Points (an increment of 1 Point for every 500x - 999x higher win)

So the Points gets awarded by +1 for every 500x - 999x multiplier increment.

I would be interested in this, and I think many others may like it too. 

Getting several of 500x wins can have a good chance against those huge multipliers, so quantity becomes more important than quality.

Just my thoughts though...
