We'd like to hear from you!

I have another suggestion. Since my other suggestion about changing the white background didn't sound successful, how about this? For the writers out there including myself we sometimes have problems counting the amount of words for a review. I hear some of our reviews don't count up to 300 words but what if we include a word counter beside the "write your review" sections of both the casino and games section. I can see myself writing on that small blank space every time thus the white background. White is definitely the colour for me in January, looking at a white background on my computer screen (AG), using white paper to jot down notes, drinking from a white mug, I even see blizzards and snow banks everywhere outside my house. It's very cold this time of the year. Is white really my new "red" because that's what I'm seeing lol.

Maybe i didnt understand you lcymod ,but counting the words ? i always use word counter so i copy and paste the text here at Askgambler so why do you need word counter?

People like Icymod, including myself, we write directly into the review box, so we don't use any word counter Katerina. For me, I use 'eye' counter if it's really necessary, or if not, I use 'no' counter!  :D Having an 'auto' counter here is definitely a great idea! So no writer need to worry if he/she has written enough words or not.

What do you think ValDes?

Why use a word counter somewhere else if you can have it here next to the review box? That's one less applicaton/browser to worry about. And on the plus side "Mr Admin" won't have problems checking reviews containing less than 300 words.  ;)

Aaaand the answers:

I use OpenOffice, where is word counter, and then just copy paste it. :)

In addition to katemak and LordCronal's answers I would like to remind you guys that:

1) Each and every new gadget, attached to the forum requires time, efforts and a lot of headaches usually :D In this case it is not worth the troubles at all, since there are so many free tools to count your words. ;)

2) I've started here at AskGamblers as a writer (so I know where are you coming from:) ) and I've never typed straight into the comment boxes. It's always a better idea to check the spelling and format the text a bit before publishing it, right? AT least this is what I've done...

3) Being a 'writer' is not an easy job guys, so I suppose you have to make some efforts. :p

Geeeees...looks like I'm the ONLY one here who types directly into the review boxes?!

Not a problem for me though, even without the counting tool. If necessary, my finger and eyes will do!!! LOL.

Your not the only one. I do it all the time. For counting words, I'll manage. It's the white background I'm more concerned of lol. I agree with Valdes that white is purity but too much good can be awful. If being drunk helps I'll try that.....while doing reviews Imao  :p

That's two suggestions I made shot down. Two birds killed with one stone. I'll whisk more suggestions up if I think of some more

Good...good...I've got a direct-into-reviewbox comrade! :hi:

Two suggestions shot down...ahhh...never mind Icymod...it's still better than two deposits shot down...at a casino!  :p I don't like that at all...but it happens frequently enough!  :D

Hmmm...talking about whisking...I think I'll whisk up another big mug of coffee to accompany my biscuits...and write some more reviews!  :spiteful: Get back some of my shot down deposits!

While you guys (Icymod and Afi4wins) are scratching your tongues, some people here are writing review after review! :D:p

Come on guys, we have some cash here waiting for all of our writers. ;)

Eh Icymod...you got that? While we are busy chatting, others are busy reviewing!

Got a lot of money for all of us eh ValDes? Hmmmm...I'll take mine sloooowly, thank you!  :D

My third suggestion is a points system towards draws...big or small, free spins for the slot of choice provided by the casino in a draw, something to get AG more attention / publicity. AG is great already for Match bonuses, No Deposits, Free plays, discussions of different topics, it's staff, and contests but we as members/gamblers are like vampires, we want more and more!!!

The points are equal to the combination of posts and likes accumulated by the AG member.

I already know Professor Valdes will give me a long lecture of how much work that will take for the staff despite of it being a good idea or not. Hahahaha lol to expect that "NO" in an optimistic way in 3, 2, 1.......... :p

Allow me to disappoint you this time! :p:D

This is something we have taken into consideration long time ago and...it will be implemented at AskGamblers soon! ;)

Edit: Meanwhile, you can have some fun in the next crazy AskGamblers and BetAT slot contest! :D

See Icymod? The law of averages do work on ValDes! 2 times thumbs down, 3rd time thumbs up!  :D

Forget the thumbs, my friend. I'll give a thousand bucks to see all your faces after only a couple of months!  :p  We are preparing soooo many surprises... but I won't give a hint, nor a clue...not even a single word!

Am I hearing this right? From...the wise Valdes?

"Third times the charm" does work! I'll create two suggestions expected to be turned down again then follow up with a great idea for a third lol.
