Casino licensing, regulation and certification – are they really so important?

If it’s anything like UKGC it depends on revenues for example and there’s a variable fee depending on how much income is being generated. For a big UK one for example, approximately close to 500k per annum. Dunno about Malta.

The costs won’t stop there - complying with their more onerous licensing conditions will incur secondary, indirect, costs on top of that.

My name is Dave and I've worked as a dealer and casino manager on a cruise ship for the past 7 years, I have gathered some information and methodology on other websites, but 80% of the criteria I use to create my reviews are my own and my colleagues' experiences.  I can cleary to answer to your question that yes,  it is very important to be sure of the return and withdrawal of your funds if you are playing at this casino for the first time.

Hi!

I agree with you that casino licensing, regulation and certification is very important.

Here are a few reasons why:

They ensure that the casino operates honestly and transparently.
They protect players from fraud and unfair practices.
They ensure the security and privacy of player data.
They help in the fight against gambling addiction.
I have been playing at casinos for many years and I always choose only licensed and regulated casinos.

For example, I play on this  casino platform.

This casino is licensed by the government of Curacao and eCOGRA, which guarantees fair and safe games.

I recommend all players to play only at licensed and regulated casinos.
