We have a fully black kitty named Elliott. Despite the masculine name, Elliott is female (I like to think that it empowers her little sense of kitty self to have a 'boys name' :-)

 

Elliott is a rescue cat. I did not rescue her from a centre, but from a neighbor who burnt his flat down, and if it was not for the excellent work of West Yorkshire Fire Service, she would not be alive today. When I asked what would happen to her, since my neighbours flat was essentially gutted, I was told she would be put in a rescue centre. I know though that many black cats are not adopted due to idiots with superstitions so I immediately took her in. Helping her to overcome her ordeal and become a 'normal' cat again has been a true labour of love.

I lost my baby,my Mici 2 months ago and I cant read post with cats as subject at the moment but kiss that little sweet creature ,please..

I was about to say Leo is for adoption but I will give my best to find him the warm home and his people, I wanna family with kids and Leo is 3 yrs.old.

 

I moved him from the street and he  seems happy dog.

This is the cat I found on the street, in my hometown, a few months ago. She was so adorable and cuddly, so I couldn't resist picking her up, even thought I knew I can't keep her. I used to have black tomcat I adored (I also picked up from the streets), so it was another reason I took this one with me. Found her a home and she is very happy cat now. She is so good and amazing and I can visit her whenever I want.
