Hi been playing gates of olumpus 1000 on freshbet, bonus buys only iv bought over 150 bonus buys at £40 and my biggest win is just over £300. most games iv been burnt like 20 sometimes in a row stright loses, am i wasting time and money chasing after a max win or will it hit £12000 lost already just doesnt seem right  iv played on many platforms and won but not this site. Other day i bought over 20 at £60 and every single one was losses

Regardless of which casino you play at, Bonus Buys are always the fastest way to lose money! They are nothing more than a tricky appetizer for hungry big win hunters!

One more thing that I have noticed via my own experiences, is that whenever a game has a Bonus Buy feature, the base game itself would almost always play badly, thereby tempting players to use the Bonus Buy feature instead...and of course, lose more money!

Yes, yes, those very few lucky players are always the exception, but most players are not.

thanks for replying yeah i done about 30 more bonus buys thinking it has to pay but nope all stright loses mybe a few  money back freshbet i think is a scam casino no way 96% rtp is legit i got fed up and just self exclude from that site almost £15.000 lost just buying.£40 bonus buys on gates

£40 bonus buys is crazy! Are you able to set any RG limits on your account to prevent this happening again?

Gate of Olympus 1000 has a 15,000x max win.... so if he was able to get a max win on his 40 quid bonus buy, he would get a win of 6000 quid.

bonus buy is 100x the 0.40 stake.... but now that 6000 quid would only give him back 40% of his losses.

 

and what are the chances of getting a max win on Gates of Olympus 1000?

Max Win Probability: 1 in 697,350

for fun I did three 40.00 bonus buys on the 94% RTP version.

and got returns of 155.9x, 199.05x, 310.65x

thus profit of 146.24

Hey how's it going I won another max few days after the 16k win but was just 6grand I don't keep track of money lost so wouldn't know  but I don't chase like I did when I lost 14k trying to stupidly hit a 6k max I just have the odd few times a week bonus buys

I don't like most Pragmatics for bonus buy sessions, you can so easily get caught in one of their frequent 30-50% rtp cycles, so if you buy 50 of them at say 40 EUR you'll be down a 1000 before you know it and eventually you'll start needing a max win just to recuperate some of what you've lost 

Over a long period, I've done thousands of buys on Bermuda Riches, some even at a cost of 1,000 EUR, and I am down a ridiculous amount on this. That 5,000x max win I was sure I was due never happened. In fact, I never even got a win above 2,000x from it all.

I find less volatile slots much better for continued buys, for instance TNT Bonanza (Booming) rarely goes more than 4-5 bonuses without a win while also rarely giving only 10x or so, and within 25 buys chances are good you'll have seen a couple of 300x's or even a couple of 6-700x's.
