In future contests run by me, everyone will be required to send me their currency conversions. 
 

Please also note - most casinos will impose minimum bets in their contests because they have the technology to work it out. I DON’T! Which is why I have never imposed it and always suggest that when we have sponsored contests we don’t impose this rule. I imposed this rule this time to try and make it fair since the concept was different! And I still remember the Russian guy winning a top prize from a very minimum bet here. But once again some of you have decided to cause a drama out of something little.

Hence I did not make a fuss or try to say anything in general over all the contest..., I just wanted to correct something that was incorrect.

It's not about this competition, it's about a bigger competition than the pragmatic and relax contest, if 0.1 euro is the minimum bet, it should be converted into other currencies that will be of the same value as this amount, because here you are playing with more money

But I already CLEARLY stated that it was!!! I did not specify a currency! I said whatever value 0.10 was in YOUR currency you could play in it! So whatever value 10p is in my country you can use that value in your country.

The minimum bet for Pragmatic Play and Relax Gaming slots can all be played at 1 ZAR, as they do like for like with currency. They do not do proper conversion. So they PP and Relax Gaming does USD0.10 cents = 1 ZAR, USD0.20 Cents = 2 ZAR value.

Other providers would do the proper conversion like where 0.10 cents by default is 2 ZAR, USD 0.20 = 4 ZAR and so on.

I cannot play in GBP, but certain providers like Betsoft and BGaming will allow certain games to be played at 5p per spin.

The point is - The Relax and Pragmatic Play Contest - Did not have any MINIMUM bet rules applied to their contest.

There are no games that I know of where I can play at 5p per spin with all paylines active unless the game has 5 paylines. But I can’t speak for bGamimg as I’ve never played their games. And if there was and was playing this contest, I’d simply exclude all 5 line slots.

All paylines must be active, and if necessary, paylines must be 10 lines or more, or the equivalent of 10 lines (2 cents per line on a 5, 7 or 9 paylines games for example) to avoid more arguments.

Different games do have different starting minimum bets, depending on the currency being used, some may be lower, some higher. 

In my country for example, old Playtech games start from 0.09 MYR up to 0.40 MYR minimum starting bet. Newer Playtech games, on the other hand, start from 0.50 MYR upwards, and each next higher bet size is 5x more!!! Pragmatic Play games start from 0.20 MYR upwards, Relax Gaming games from 0.30 MYR upwards, and so forth. Next higher bet are all 5x more! That is the way Asian casinos operate.

Other country local casinos do have their own way of running their games too, with their own minimum starting bet sizes in the local currency, so if you're playing with them, then you just have to adhere to their rules, whatever the starting minimum bet size may be.

Lets be mature adults and NEVER AGAIN argue about the currency being used!

@ales200 since you talked about it being unfair that some people were playing on lower bets do you not think what you did was also unfair. 

@Fiekie247 took small bonuses like 50% or 100% on a deposit but you took a 500% deposit and that lasted over two contest.

 

@ales200 if you think someone playing in lower currency is unfair dont you think that you taking a 500% bonus is also unfair to players. 

If @Fiekie247 me and other players did not complain on your 500% bonus why are you complaining about lower bets. At the end of the day we are spending more money than you.

I won’t change about the rules again now. I’m just shocked this has happened! Out of all the games that anyone can play for this game, if id restricted to a certain game then maybe I’d understand that some people would have to spend more. I also didn’t restrict the currency, so if the rule did mean someone had to play in a different currency and it cost more they could have picked a different currency. 
So to be honest, I’m very upset this has happened when I work hard to make sure I create contests that you can all play in! But I guess this is the gratitude I get.

Let’s draw a line under it and carry on. I’ll update the leaderboard later.

For all the other competitions, I played without a bonus, only real money, I just realized that in last two contest this is possible, but you could also take the bonus you wanted, right?

You are free to take any bonus you like. I have no rules on that! And most of our contests don’t restrict that. Sometimes when we have casino sponsored ones they will.

Forget about it @ales200. If the contest rule allows playing with bonus money, then there shouldn't be any arguments about it. If you can take a 500% bonus, then that's good for you, but not all players can take it, for one reason or another.

Yes, exactly. So why you complaining? If I play in Zar and take 100% bonus and do 5 cent bets and  deposit 3000 zar in multiple deposits and you take 500% on €100 deposit and get €600. We both are spending same money, maybe I am spending more.  How is it unfair to anyone? You are only seeing the bet amount, did you see how many deposits one person did?
