Reasons why I've closed accounts

Hellridah

Recommended Posts

When it comes to a casino we too as players have to be on our game if we suspect something is wrong it usually is

I close accounts for a number of reasons ;

But the latest were Winz.io and Betway is about to join the pile

Basically with Winz.io a transaction occurred a 50 dollar payment which somehow turned into a 57.04 nzd payment to a crypto currency business

in Rowanda that originated from a dot IO location which the bank investigated and Winz swore black and blue that it wasn't them so I didn't argue

I simply closed the account anything like that I just don't argue with folks I shut the account was the biggest load of nonsense I had ever heard somehow

someone rerouted a payment in real time I've had this out with them before but I considered the situation not worth it .

Now this morning Betway claims that "I" requested changes to my account which is false haven't played there in years wont matter anyway they will get

no details from that account its as old as the dinosaurs but strange requests are usually done to drum up business or they are genuine so assuming a person

is attempting to gain access they will have to knowledge of my email address and account : I calculate the chances of that happening if their secure enough

to be around practically nothing its absurd even contemplating it so its a security risk simple as that ...Instant close .

Trust me guys if it doesn't feel right close the buggers don't put up with stupid things .

Warm Regards

-Tane Marshall

P.S

To all the shady operations out there doing dumb stuff your time is ending and ill be the one to put the final nail in each coffin that's not

a promise that's a spoiler .

I had a recent incident with Oshi.io

I been playing at Oshi for years. Made many deposited, claimed a few freebies here and there as well.

3 Weeks ago - they offered me 20 no deposit spins, when I contacted support to claim the spins, they told it cannot be added, as security picked up a duplicate account, I mean this is the first time I heard this nonsense.

I like how they responded - However you are welcome to claim our weekly deposit offer... Are you serious? Really, you just told me I cannot get a free bonus as security picked up a duplicate account, although I know I did not multi account. But instead you want me to make deposits and play, you convincing me , meanwhile int he back of my head I am worried that you might confiscate my winnings!

I requested to close my account - She had a nerve to ask what is the reason for this. I explained how can I have my account opened if I "Apparently" have duplicate accounts? I mean seriously I cannot continue to play, because if I win, I am sure they will take my winnings.

Nothing can be surprising these days where casinos are concerned. What seemed like decent honest casinos to me have proven wrong, even big name and reputable casinos, even those owned by DAMA! In every basket, there's going to be a few bad apples and a few decaying ones too.

Winz.io and Mirax casinos were amongst the latest that I had closed my accounts in January 2023.

Hello! I am firmly FOR to delete an account if you don't feel good in a certain casino. It happened to me that I had to fill out a written declaration to have my account deleted in a certain casino....I add that I also had this problem with Oshi.io, they discovered that I had a duplicate account, which was not true. After that, I deleted my account. Where they don't respect me, I don't give money.

I recently demanded closure and deletion of my account at 'iWildCasino', part of the Altacore N.V. group.

After being a member for more than a year and never being able to withdraw it didn't feel fun anymore.

The good thing that came from it is that I discovered many points in their T&C that opened my eyes.

More than one time they were contradicting and clearly not abiding their own T&C, or they were untrue when put to the test.

The demand and my right to ask that my account were to be deleted and my personal details shredded from their database(s) was the only time support didn't answer my grievances or remarks with a template-like reply.

Practically begging and pointing out my progress in reaching the next VIP level.

Fun thing about the VIP progress was my question, first through live chat and then via support e-mail, about how much money needed to be wagered to raise one %.

I concluded the closest to an answer they tried feeding me was 'we decide at our discretion your percentage, nothing is set in stone'.

For the VIP level I obtained one of the percs was a 5% extra on every deposit made, I never received this, only when I complained and contacted support I was told that indeed, following their own VIP advertising I'm entitled to this but as it can't be made automatic -WTF?- I should contact support every time after having made a deposit but before playing even one spin.

Withdrawals, only €1200 a day in 3 parts because the maximum per withdrawal is €400.

These aren't confirmed by e-mail like every deposit or deposit 'error' for whatever reason not gone through.

Depositing with Mifinty mostly, which I used as intermediary for Bancontact/Mister Cash, Belgiums only electronic payment system connected to our bank account was reason for cancelation of withdrawal because I demanded withdrawal via Bank Transfer.

Bank Transfer is from my pov the only real KYC assurance, as we players have to provide pictures of our card and a bank statement as part of the KYC verification.

The T&C stated that for withdrawal your method of deposit will be used unless you specify another method and named 'such as via bank transfer' but the operator has the last word and freedom of choosing another method for withdrawal.

So €1200 a day becomes each two days like this because they send cancellation and no matter how fast you redo your withdrawal this is only handled the next day...keeping in mind that €1200 a day is in reality only €4800 each week because withdrawals made on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday aren't processed until Monday.

And to close with: that feeling you have that you're not playing slots but you are played with...it grows and grows and grows when playing slots that have a bonus attached seem profitable and doable till the end is in sight and suddenly no slot produce wins anymore.

Playing without deposit on the other hand, creeping thoughts of unfairness, tampered RTP's were joined with sudden technical issues and being thrown out of a game that couple of times you had the feeling that a slot you were playing was THE slot that would make it worth...after logging in and opening that game again, that feeling of winning never returned.

Conclusion at least for me: that Curacao license/seal means NOTHING !!!

Gambling sites where to much effort is put in making it visually attractive and a choice of (too varied?) providers covering everyone's taste are simple lures which hide questionable conditions/intentions.

Those operators have the most ridiculous conditions in their T&C concerning wagering/max withdrawals/restricted games etc...

IT ISN'T ALL GOLD WHICH SHINES, READING AND CALCULATING ENDLESS T&C's ARE A NECESSITY and COMMON SENSE PRIMORDIAL.

And to be even more honest, websites like AskGamblers and their Certified / Recommended online casino's need to be inspected at the same level as the most blacklisted blacklist casino/operator around.

Far as I'm concerned to some degree Curacao is the Last Bastion for me RTP wise and for other reasons just have to strike the right place: all the new rules and the reshaping of the gambling industry is being made by clueless people who will eventually sink the industry through their greed and stupidity I'm ringing the bell Titanic and I'm telling you there's an ICEBERG incoming .

Hi Astaroth, can I know what nationality you have and where you live?

I think he is from New Zealand. By reading his previous posts I believe he has great knowledge on technical and financial aspects of casinos.

So, if this is correct and I would like an answer from Astaroth...why state that Curacao based casino's are the last bastion, which I interpret as they hold your trust -correct me if I'm wrong- and what you mean specifically with other reasons besides RTP wise -which I don't get honestly, RTP should be the same everywhere, no (the RTP stated in a specific slot)?

What motives do apply when choosing an online casino?

Is your financial proficiency only applicable to casino's or do you have a background in all financial aspects; also the protection and security thereof?

I mean how many Curacao casino's have an Ecogra or other internationally approved testing agency seal?

Well Jan Duchau ,

To answer some your questions I'm from New Zealand and my reasons are quite simple :

1. They don't ask for stupid things like SOW/SOF documents .

2. The RTP requirement is higher in Curacao there is a much better chance of actually winning .

3. I choose a casino based on many reasons not limited to just trust which I establish by comparing multiple casino

reviews and by testing them first hand : quite a lot of factors some of which I won't go into oh yes Ecogra approval

is a big factor as well (why basically because the majority of wins i've had have been from E-Cogra based casino's) .

Also its not just my opinion there are quite a lot of others which have the same opinion trust is basically dissolving

on mass scale I'm hearing it everywhere I go from places like  Reddit , Twitter , Facebook , and the list goes on the figures will speak for

themselves the more regulatory authorities tighten their grip on their draconian rules and maintain lower RTP standards

like in Malta the more players will seek to make deposits elsewhere .

It's just simple stuff really nothing amazing to analise basically the new approach will just sink a bunch of casino's

players will and are loosing interest for multiple reasons mostly if they can't stretch their bank roll without reasonable

returns = game over . It's already wild west as it is but making things even more further difficult it doesn't take a rocket

scientist to work out where this is going .

This was my main reason for asking.

Can you tell me the names of those casino's with an Ecogra seal or any other independent audit entity seal.

Maybe I could reconsider my biased opinion when it comes to Curacao licensed casino's but this will only happen with a level of trust from me to begin with.

Feel free to go and check the E-Cogra Website (Not allowed to Link) there's a section there that shows the current seal holders also if you look at the casino

website if it has the logo click on it and it will show you if the seal is valid . Also I can count the number of Casino's on one hand I would trust with independent audits

that don't have a link to prove anything going to be honest don't trust much in paradise anymore not a goddam thing handful of casino's .

Trust is everything in business once its lost ....poof ! the business follows also be good if we had someone from E-Cogra on the forum been saying this for ages

to help with "Communication" . Also just a friendly reminder there's a search ability here on A.G that I think you can choose to filter ones that contain Ecogra ,

Juristiction , and etc .

I know the Ecogra website and have looked at the seal holders names several times but most I know are blacklisted by Belgium and most others are very old casino names and offer only Real Time Gaming games, which are the dumbest in the industry.

But you said you also have the most trust in these certified ones because the most wins you had were at certified Ecogra casino's.

I'll settle with those casino names, the ones with Ecogra label where you won so I can check if Belgium players are allowed and if the overall site offers enough/specific providers to my likings + deposit methods applicable to me.

There's multiple ways to do things I don't touch RTG's also the list shown needs to be updated there are actually others that have seals anyway I've been

there and done that its old news but what Isn't old is the state of the gambling industry its going beyond just find a fair casino that isn't questionable the

whole game is changing basically it looks like their digging their own grave from where I stand . But that's what happens when you rush into things and don't

consider the long term most kids these days and their "kids" we are dealing with making big decisions which are sinking companies poor management skills ,

ignorance , and straight bullheadedness .

Olay !
