Bodog payout delayed

Recommended Posts

Hey there @Joef213 and welcome to the AskGamblers Forum. :)

Unfortunately, Bodog has been blacklisted here long time ago for a good reason, however, you can still AGCCS against them if the issue is still ongoing.

More about how to use it here

Also, don't forget to read carefully all the AGCCS Guidelines and make sure to adhere to them. For more information how to use AGCCS, please visit our Knowledge Base.

btw, not meaning to sound argumentative but why blacklist Bodog yet rate casinos 8.8 who actively target Non Gamstop (mystake)? I have no problem with people who want to play abroad to avoid UKGC issue, their risk and all that, but the fact you rate some of these who actively boast about Non Gamstop totally undermines the ratings here. The fact that casino is prepared to do business with such affiliates, like non-gamstop, is telling itself

Under their testimonials - so, happy to accept deposits from problem gamblers yet excellent on here (or good or whatever). Sorry mate, but that is an unjustifiable position in being an affiliate with them, showing i guess, that money talks

Hey,

Hmm, not quite sure what's the issue here so pls, feel free to PM me and clarify the Operator and the relevant issues you are referring to. I'll make sure to forward to the relevant team for further investigation.

Thanks in advance! :good:

Mystake Casino...a mistake casino for me! They always care for their customers? They wouldn't even refund my one $25 max bet (happened out of the blue) when I was playing with minimum bets ALL THE TIME! Account closed, end of story, no second mistake!

As for Bodog, I had wanted to sign up there some years ago...browsed their website, bonus terms, T&Cs, and finally walked away! An Asian friend of mine also wrote to me telling of his problems with Bodog! STAY AWAY!!!

No point tbh mate, if you don't see what the issue is here - a site that actively seeks problem gamblers is worthy of that rating, on a 'nongamstop' affiliate site?

Words fail me V

Really no need to get so harsh on me, mate. :(

You probably noticed I'm quite busy lately and have less and less time for the forum, that's why asked for your assistance with this one cause I literally don't have the time to investigate it myself.

Kindly asking you again to explain here or pitch me a PM with as many details you can find yourself re this issue and believe me, we'll review and act accordingly asap.

Thanks in advance!

I think it's fairly obvious what the issue is here. You have given a glowing review 8.12 to a company that is actively seeking out and accepting UK customers. They are specifically targeting UK customers registered with GAMSTOP, who you provide a link to on your homepage. They are not licenced by the UK Gambling Commission, nor or they signed up to GAMSTOP so are therefore illegally transacting with any UK customers.

And you have rock solid proof do you? Could you post it here for us please?

And also - please refer to the comment made above asking for more information so this can be looked into. First, either I or Guru had heard of this, so I guess it's easy to throw out accusations although we've not received even a reply or PM with proof to investigate,

It's not really difficult to find the proof. Google "mystake non-gamstop" and you will get all the evidence you require (there are 10 different websites on the first google page and I've no need to venture any further). If you are asking for proof that they are not signed up to GamStop or licensed by the UK Gambling Commission then go to either of these organisations websites and you will see they aren't.  I would have thought that you would have known that a company not licensed by the UK Gambling Commission would not therefore be on GamStop. If you require any further "rock solid" proof to back up what I have informed you of then just ask and I'll be more than happy to provide it for you.

Pretty sure that's what I already asked for. Who do you think you are coming to the forum speaking to the admin team like this! Please take this as a warning and I would advise you read the forum rules before creating your next reply.

Also - maybe you should read my reply again! I didn't ask you for proof they are not signed up to Gamstop! I asked you for proof that they are seeing UK players to register there so we can investigate this. You claim they are actively accepting UK members - you have proof of these accounts I assume do you? This is what I asked for. And like previously advised by another admin - this proof can be sent via DM if it contains private information.

And, moving forward I have just googled what you said and I can see these sites promoting the casino as a non-gamstop UK casino but from what I can gather these are all other sites advertising the casino, not the actual casino advertising it. So to reiterate my "rock-solid" this would be proof the casino is accepting UK players when they're not meant to be.

If they are - our other admin members has already agreed to investigate this serious matter so we will wait for your proof in the meantime.

So you think that MyStake are paying loads of websites to advertise them to UK customers and in particular ones registered with GamStop but then they chose not to allow them to open accounts?  I’ll let any readers of this post make up their own minds as to what is actually going on.

Again you’re completely ignoring what I am actually writing. I have neither denied or accepted what you her said, merely asked for the proof you have so we can get this investigated. You stated that we are giving this casinos a glowing report and I quote ….

We provide a link on your page to NON-UK members! UK members are restricted from registering at this casino at AskGamblers.

If readers want to make their minds up about what other sites are advertising for this casino then absolutely they can and it has absolutely nothing to do with AskGamblers what other affiliates sites are doing.

We have absolutely agreed to investigate the matter, but your rock solid proof isn’t rock solid because you haven’t actively proved the casino actually is accepting UK players! And I’m afraid from our side until we have that we can’t go on what a Google search says!

Rock solid proof as requested that MyStake are illegally accepting customers form the UK. Not only that but they are accepting customers from the UK that are registered with GamStop, which isn't uprising as these are the ones they are targeting specifically. I have also sent a copy of my bank statement which show the deposits made to MyStake. You can clearly see on the bank statement that these payments made in Euros have been paid to three different companies in Lekki, Nigeria, a well known hotspot for cybercrime.

I'm sure you'll now do a thorough investigation and report back your findings.

Many thanks.

Thank you and Absolutely! This will be forwarded Monday morning. Is your account still open and have you attempted to claim your deposits back?

I had a chat with support last night and refused to tell me they didn’t accept accept players from the UK so this will most certainly be sent on to investigate.

Hi

Thank you for your quick reply.

I have attempted to claim back my deposits but MyStake sent me a copy and past reply which says according to them my request is groundless. They have ignored any further communication from me to resolve the matter. Even after explaining the whole situation to them and sending them my GamStop registration they have STILL left my account opened. I think the fact that they have left an account from a UK customer, who they know to be registered with GamStop open tells you all you need to know about the company.

If have asked them the following questions on several occasions but they have refused to answer them.

Are you licenced by the UK Gambling Commission?

Are you aware of what the UK Gambling Commission state below?

For a gambling website to legally accept any customers and transaction from the UK it MUST have a Gambling Commission licence under the UK Gambling Act 2005.

If you aren't registered by the UK Gambling Commission are you aware that it is illegal for you to trade with anyone from the UK?

Where is your company based?

Why were my deposits sent to companies in Lekki, Nigeria a well known hotspot for cybercrime?

Who are these companies below?

FLWINSURANCE Lekki NG
FLWDIGITALGOODS/ENTERT Lekki NG
FLWMONEYTRANSFER Lekki NG

Why do you accept UK credit cards with payments being taken out in Ukrainian hryvnia?

Are your payments processed as payments to online gambling with the MCC (Merchant Category Code) of 7995?

If your payments aren't processed using the MCC of 7995 would you explain why not?

Yeah, with DMR on this one - accepting players from the UK isn't really a big issue for me atm, given all the things going on here, but a site that actively encourages 'non-gamstop' players is one which, in lay mans terms, is a scumbag site. Ergo, really, you really need to consider your reputation in promoting it. If you continue to give it some astronomical high rating, then you might want to look at yourself in the mirror. Personally, if AG promote this site, well, bully to all the other ratings, cos they aint worth Jack S.

No need for proof as well - quite easy to see they have a business relationship with that particular website - in fact, anyone on that site should be blacklisted.

As anyone who's been on here for a while, even though i might not be to folks' liking, i think i'm pretty fair.

Absolutely agree, but the first time either me or Valdes had even heard of this was when you mentioned it and then you disappeared.

To be fair, i've not disappeared from gambling, well not all, but i've grown increasingly disillusioned with it. To be fair , it took me, as a non affiliate, minutes, to see the connection so  i'd expect more due diligence from another affiliate site when promoting such scum .

Probably about another half dozen sites on here i could cut to shreds re their rating but, in all honesty, I've lost all motivation to even ramble about this anymore (i'm even boring myself)

@DMRHave you opened a complaint using the AGCCS in regards to your account and the deposits made?

When Guru returns next week I will of course draw all of this to his attention as he has more powers than I to deal with this.

Hi cocopop3011

In answer to your question about submitting a complaint using the AGSS in regards to my account with MyStake and the deposits made I can confirm that I have submitted 3 separate complaints ALL of which have been rejected by AskGamblers.

The last one I submitted with ALL of the 5 attachments above was submitted yesterday at 14:09 and I have just had an email rejecting it today at 18.21.

The reason given for the 3rd rejection was apparently because it was part of multiple complaints.

Bearing in mind that after the second rejection I was informed that I could send another complaint with ALL evidence attached which I complied with.

I certainly didn't expect it to be rejected after adhering to your recommendations.

For such an obvious breach and the seriousness of my complaint I did not expect to have to jump through hoops for you to accept it, but maybe as pinnit2005 says perhaps it is just another way of making genuine people "disillusioned" with the industry and the shady things that go on in it.

Sadly with people like pinnit2015 losing motivation to "ramble" about these issues it just encourages certain unscrupulous gambling companies to continue to exploit people without any consequences.

As I have stated on another website if MyStake are so keen to attract business from the UK, which they clearly are, then why don't they apply for a UK licence from the Gambling Commission? Do they begrudge paying the money or do they think that they wouldn't pass the due diligence. I would suggest it is because they don't want to be regulated and allowed to operate as they please.
