How did you discover the AG Forum?

Can you all comment below, how you found out about this forum....I know some you registered years ago but if you can try and think back to the very first time you posted in here and tell me how you found us?

Important: I need to know how you discovered the Forum Only and not the actual AskGamblers website.

To begin with since the moment I joined this forum has been rewarding.  I have learnt a lot of things about the way the gambling industry works by reading so many informative articles  and my knowledge of the casino industry has become better. I have taken part in many AG contest and they have been rewarding. I have also been helped my fellow members and administrators who've helped and guided in me as fast as they could and made some great friends in this process.  The discussion about a casino before signing up and about newly released slots have also helped to make right choices.

Your post was in our Meme competition wasn't it? How did you find out about that contest?

I think I was looking for a deposit bonus and I somehow landed on the forum. I had signed up on AG site way before I signed up on the forum. I had a complaint that got rejected so I was mad at AG. But then I kept on claiming bonuses and eventually landed on the forum.

PS. I got an email from a casino and I was reading an email about how was my experience  with them and I answered  that question  here about my experience  at Askgamblers in previous  post.

My first ever forum activity was at another site, one which was and still is (probably) popular with many gamblers, but I won't name it, unless it's okay to say so, hehehe. I was quite active there for many months, posted quite a number of replies, entered a number of contests, but won none! I became really disappointed at how the winning entries were chosen, which to me, shouldn't have won the contest at all (favoritism seemingly in play), so I decided to leave that site.

I then found Askgamblers forum through good old Google...and STAYED!!!

About 2 or 3 years later, ever since I made myself disappear from that first forum site, someone posted a 'strange' reply to one of my posts...it said "so here you are!"...nothing else and not heard a word ever since, hahaha.

Haha, I too started in a different forum, quite possibly the same one  

May as well share my own story now….so it was my partner that originally introduced me to AG. He was bonus hunting and then got me here. I hunted bonuses for a few months and then one day I seen an ad on the home page which stated they pay $5 for each casino review….the reviews you all know and love now. 
And the rest is history really….

Sooner or later I stopped using the other forum too as I felt I just fitted in perfectly here and now we’re 8 years later. 

But anyway, enough about me

Well first of all, I discovered online gambling with joining CasinoRoom as my first casino then joined some RTG casino and a few other Netent ones, due to "No Deposit bonus or Signup Free Spins"

So I think I played some online slots free of charge and some other slots, and I won some and lost some, but did not know the difference between highly volatile, medium and low volatile slots. Then I was " NDB hunting the living heellll out of AG" signed up at any casino that offered free spins, free money etc. - I mean 2014/2015 NDB was hot for most online casinos.

I think my forum activity started in 2016 properly when I joined Videoslots and posted winners and tournament winners here and just was a regular member on here every day.

So for me getting to the forum was mostly due to google and click on Askgamblers links - Your SEO is perfect, whatever I searched related to Gambling came up with relevant information with pages linking to AskGamblers and that is why I joined here as all my starting/beginners information was found on AskGamblers.

I think my first interaction was with @cocopop3011, @ValDes who was eloquent enough to always give me warnings as I was learning lol and then I met @Afi4wins, @blondie, @katemak and @Awena.. And thats how life went on in here...

Then I had couple of encounters with @Raptordinos and that other guy who always like and talked about the Famous - Jelena Isakov from Serbia... Cant remember his name - I believe Valdes gave him a perma ban....

I know Icymod was a pain in the ***** though, not me specifically, but in general -  I think what was considered as the biggest disrespect, the fact that Guru approach him correctly and putting him in place, just for him to respond basically, " I dont give a F if you ban me" attitude... and this was done repeatedly...

I doubt @bigdk88 was banned - I know he just disappear, then suddenly coming back in 1 year with a max win screenshot on Jammin Jars or another 17 000x sick winner from Unibet, for 1 week and disappears again...

Biggy as I call him is actually paying us some visits every now and then, mostly browsing the Mega Wins thread where his heart and soul always been.  

@ManchesterUnited2020, oh man, yet another famous member of the 'We-Worship-Jelena -Club' back in the days.  I think he had some severe problem gambling issues and quit for good at one point.

Leo won the big prize a few years ago from a major forum contest (a latest model iPhone as far as I remember) and no sign from him ever since.... Really miss that fell thou, he was a super experienced player with lots and lots of playing years behind him but he never, ever, afforded to let his negative emotions and/or experience prevail over his warm, encouraging and friendly tone of voice... And for that, I'll always respect him!
