Questions About the Casino

Recommended Posts

Hi there!

I'm heading to the casino for the first time this weekend and have a couple of newbie questions:

1-When I hear about 'penny slot machines', does that mean I can physically put a penny in the machine and wager one cent? 2-How much does it cost to eat at the buffet? 3-Are drinks free? 4-What is the dress code? 5-What are the minimum bets?

Told you I was a newb :P. Any other tips/advice would be awesome! <SNIP>

Thanks in advance.

and the link above in red? What is that?

1 - Penny slots are normally being referred to slot machines that can be played 1cents per line. However lately you need to play the max amount of lines in most slots these days, however some are adjustable, not sure about land based.

2 - How much does Buffet cost? Google the casino in question you planning on visiting, I am sure its on the website there.
Here in South Africa, a Buffet at middle to top class restaurants and casinos are around $10 - $15 per person including certain soft drinks, but alcohol is a bill on its own, but its dirt cheap I believe - One beer lets say a Corona at a casino will cost you around 1.5 euros, if you buy from a liquor store - 6 pack Coronas cost 6 euros which is 100 ZAR.

3 - If you a regular player ( I am talking about spending alot monthly on average) and have earned a VIP platinum or Black card for that specific casinos you will qualify for certain benefits, like Parking, Limited free drinks, Accommodation at the hotel where the casino is situated, weekends away / trips for free etc. ( I am talking about what you get here in South Africa as VIP Player)

4 - I believe you can wear anything you want to , no certain dress code, unless an event is taking place.

5 - Minimum bets depend on whether you play a 3 reel or Video slot with 10 - 100 paylines etc.

Below I am showing you some of the benefits when being a VIP member - This is one of our popular casinos

Hope it helps.

If you want to start play some casino games, you`d better familiarize with key directions of this area. Recommend you to read here about how to choose casino.  Cuz i think it is not a good idead to start play, if you don`t know all existing variants to choose.

P.S. it is not a spam, just a good article for new players.

Quite sneaky of the OP to edit his post afer approval and add the link 🙂 Good job we have so many eagle eyed members! Thanks for the heads up.

What I hate most, is new forum members coming in here asking lots of questions, just to have them answered by us, however they never come back with feedback or say thank you or any comments based on our answers/feedback... Just plain rude..

They disappear and it makes you wonder, why did I bother answering those questions lol - I mean I try not to think about it that way,

However it took about 5 minutes to answer his questions and it's 5 minutes I will never be able to get back in my entire life...

Yeah, most of the users are just lazy to reply back, or don't watch the notifications that someone replied to them. Well, I can't really judge them, because I am doing so as well, and most of the users too. Sometimes, you are just not in the mood to read the replies, or you're no longer interested in that topic. Or they are just busy, usually when I am reading a forum, I am also playing and taking the best bonuses for live casinos, they are giving them out very often, so I am following all the time, to not miss something.

😶

A blank face or expression...exactly how we would feel whenever our answers or replies are being ignored.

Some people do not understand the importance of a feedback to their queries or questions, they think just by reading the replies are good enough for them, but to those members who took time and effort to give a reply or answer would simply feel very frustrated indeed. 😜

1. Some machines are regulated.

2. On average, you get a buffet for $ 28.

3. Most casinos have free drinks.

4. The style is elegant and austere, if not, most likely you will not enter the casino!

5. The minimum bet is from 10-100 points
