Pros and Cons of PayPal for Online Gambling

Recommended Posts

Hey guys! 👋

I have recently started to look into the different payment methods that are popular in online gambling. First I concentrated on PayPal.

Does anyone have experience using PayPal for online casinos? I am particularly interested in the deposits and the speed of the withdrawals. In another article, I saw that PayPal withdrawals are immediately credited to your bankaccount. Is this correct?

Hope to hear from u all!

Thank you in advance

Before you start using paypal you need to clear about one thing, what is your location? Paypal has different set of rules for every region. I dont think paypal allows online gambling everywhere. I believe they only allow in the UK. But I may be wrong.

Yes, I have read that too. PayPal is indeed not permitted everywhere in the world. For example, not in the United States (with the exception of Delaware, Nevada and New Jersey), India, Egypt and Turkey.

On the other side, I have seen that when you want to transfer money to your account you have to pay certain transaction fees. Does anyone know more about this?

Paypals extremely limited: only really Uk, Sweden, Italy and a few others round the world re gambling.

That's the major con.

Other con, is you're adding another buffer to cause issues with withdrawals - random security checks  etc.

With VISA direct, Trustly - all being free unlike PP and the rip off merchants Skrill, for the UK at least, there's very few positives these places have over VISA/Trustly

Plus, they've normally bonus banned as well.

So, yeah, more negatives than positives.

Edit - PP does have fee free transactions to be fair but still. Meh.

I was curious to understand this issue, although I have never used paypal for online gambling.
I have found that it can be used without problems in countries and states where gambling is allowed. Such countries and states include: UK, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Sweden. There are three states in the United States where you can use PayPal: New Jersey, Nevada and Delaware.
In all other cases, I recommend trying other methods that are relevant to America. These are the following options:
Credit, debit, gift or prepaid cards
Bitcoin
Money transfer services (such as Western Union)
I used everything except bitcoin, it's a pretty easy process. I think you will understand or find the information yourself.
Good luck to all!

I used to use PayPal at a number of casinos years ago like Mr Green and Paddy Power. PaddyPower used to be instant, no pending for PayPal cashouts.

For me initially when choosing an online portal - not interested in withdrawal. As I was not playing to make money. Although I know that many withdraw this way and there are no problems. Dude I went to my game for the sake of it<SNIP> to check their accounts, although I had never done so. I have there $ 758 - I will try to withdraw them paypal
