Aha, now that makes perfect sense...

Was about to announce you as the first ever UK punter to say a word against 32Red.

Not meant how it reads  ....32 Red etc are excellent/truthworthy operators...

What i MEANT was that said person, to avoid any issues in the future given that he's been found to have been underage gambling, would maybe best to give a wide berth as they are all connected via Kindred. Not that i'm saying they would, but wouldn't want to win big and then be told 'given as you were found to be ....at one of our sister sites'

Wow, must see it at any cost... Don't know if there is any other reason left that could convince me play this bloody stingy slot ever again!

I’ll put up later as in work but finalllllyyyy: managed to hit 1000x on that Sweet Alchemy. 50p, 55 quid going into final bit and hit the 10x total win as got 3 stars.

I do not recommend this game - that took me god knows how much to get. I shan’t be returning to it.

Btw-play and go need to sort that lag between some spins where nothing happens.

That’d be useful to have someone on the inside. Happy to supply my IP address etc so you patch me into no lose gambles, bonus offers with no wagering and the ‘streamer’ reserved 400% TRTP. And SOW ‘complete’ button.

I forgot, casinos can’t affect games *cough. Hope they can, quids in :-)

Best I can hope for is the Isle of Man :-/

Forgot Jungle Spirit - the false dawn of a return to fortune. I'd have a punt with 45k on that beast

I normally deposit 100 quid at a time. Depends on my mood - if i want play I'll start on lower bets. Immortal is the only game i'll maybe start 2 quid or above, DOA is usually 1.80 max but only with a decent balance-otherwise 9p-90p, Bonanza goes to a fiver when 500 or more. Adjust and adapt. Novomatics can be brilliant if you get a bonus but when they don't trigger they will maul you. Merkur are also high variance beasts that, to get a cent return, you don't really need to venture much above 40p.

It's not like you're playing the fruity's in a pub - there's no emptier, you may think it owes you but as a RNG you're as likely to win in the first spin as you are on the 10,000th (apparently).

I chased a rather rubbish game (before i knew slots) called Arthur's Quest. One Saturday, 20 quid down - by 8pm 5k in the red. I recouped 3.5 of it the next day but not the nicest feeling. Sometime getting burnt is good for you long term. Takes away the golden allure that 'it's on fire'.

Funny how it depends on what game you lost it - losing 1k on Bonanza/DHV for me is not as bad as say, Wolf Cub/Finn - you had a stab, could have been great, but it wasn't your day. If i lost 1k on Wolf/Finn i'd probably go to a monastery for a year.

If i planned on spunking that much money in a slot I would not have picked Gonzo's Quest   - next time try Wild Rockets/Secrets of the Stones/DOA

Netent don't rigg games, they just make any good ones anymore.

I imagine the OP turfed that much cash on it because he ended up chasing - easily done and hard to come back from.

    Hi Pinnit
I get it mate the place I'm talking about has some serious issues going on im old and wise enough to know the edge will always be on the house but it's impossible to get any sort on win on any game

I play the same games on one of their sister sites and the difference in the game play is like chalk and cheese win some loose some how it should be but playing thru the guts of 5 k in 7 months on low bets with zero withdrawals and never getting above original stake something thing is seriously amiss.

What was the comment about RTP? If it was stating a low RTP as a negative point then I can see why it's yanked - unless you believe legitimate casinos can affect the RTP

If i used that as a basis for review then every casino would get a 2/10

Finally a reply. It was shoddy at best. Here’s what a lottery win is

Generally 'media coverage' would be for example of a lottery win however, it's most likely that we just require a copy of your payslips and/or bank statements for this process.

Yes, the lottery winner who plays 9p dead or alive.

It's most likely? You either require it or you don't.

And/or - again, which one is it? Steady on with the decisiveness.

Quite frankly if i won the lottery I'd probably buy a share in GiG, sack their Head of Legal and draft a proper procedure.

And then tap myself into the 1000%  RTP DOA server.

And that makes you an extremely rare exception of the general rule claiming confiscation of all winnings generated by a deposit made with a card registered on a different name!

Probably because that suits them best and puts them into the profitable win-win scenario regardless the fact whether poor punter is losing or winning...

Yeah, another casino that likes to play by the (however you perceive them as good) rules. They take UK players without a UKGC licence.

One more point...I think the certificate of winnings request is because i ticked a box to say that some of my deposits came from winnings from other casinos. Errr...do'oh. That's how it works - win some from Casino A and use it to deposit it in Casino B, for example. What they don't realise that unless you gather all the players information re deposits/withdrawals from all casinos then it makes this a pretty pointless exercise. And also, it verges more on a RG check. Again....what's the de-minimus level you're looking for? 500 quid w/d, 1k? Or just a data dump of everything?

Money Laundering is a complex business - hence why Big 4 Accounting Firms hire forensic accountants. Are casino's really equipped to to that with all the information they're requesting? I doubt it.

What they should be doing is risk assessing people for their requests - changes in betting patterns, increases in deposits, previously know to authorities etc. Not just blindly SOW'ing people for a tenner deposit. That's pure lazy.

Other thing - deposits come from debit card...bank has their own AML procedure and money goes to casino from bank. Surely there must be some scope of cross collaboration. Where the UKGC get this idea that ML is rife in casinos is beyond me. Withdrawals back to same card, KYC checks, it's not a cash business, clear digital trails etc.

The withdrawal shows as approved with the recommendation of not using 3rd party accounts for future payments. I wont be convinced until the funds are in the bank. I wont make the same mistake again!!

I’m closing all mine across the GIG group/MT Securetrade.

What else will these use it for? RG checks? Go away

If this means I close one after another to the extent that I have to go back to playing in land casinos or none, then so be it.

Bit of sympathy for casinos regarding this but between them trying to cover selves and a completely clueless regulator in the UKGC (who incidentally have not replied to any of my letters - maybe I’ll get their attention by declaring I’m a successful money launderer and asking is that Ok) it’s like KYC was a walk in the park.

What concerns me is this may drive people to playing at less scrupulous casinos.

Exactamundo....player protection? Well how about protecting punters who have won with one their licensed operators and who are, for all intents and purposes, holding withdrawals back on the basis of this. They won't do anything. Rather they will refer to some guidelines or what not.

If the UKGC view casinos as Money Laundering high risk (and I don't really believe that - banks?) then come out and say 'before you take a penny, SOW at registration'. As absurd as this is, at least people will know where they stand.

I've read the AML regulations and the UKGC information and I'm still a bit miffed at some of it.

In the past I'd have disagreed but....take casino heroes? For years they'd no UKGC licence but arguably are more trustworthy than some licensed operators. The UKGC have, to my amazement, granted some licences to some operators that surprise me. And this is what's going to happen - people will stick two fingers up to the UKGC and go elsewhere. I can't vouch for Direx as never played but this is going to leave some people who go to some less reputable places without much recourse.

Honestly speaking, I too am prepared to close my account at any casino which insists on getting a SoW verification done, without giving my depositing history any consideration at all.

With the use of a little bit of discretion and intelligence, casinos can actually avoid such exodus of players or closures of accounts, simply by applying the ruling only on the right category of depositors, which I feel, is already being done by some casino operators. Take Direx N.V casinos, for example - I have yet to be asked for a SoW verification so far, and I hope it will stay this way.

(Added) Okay, so Direx N.V casinos do not come under MGA or UKGC ruling, but to me, that doesn't bother me at all, and it doesn't mean that these casinos are unreliable either. I'd rather play at these casinos than at casinos that have MGA and UKGC licenses but needing SoW verifications.

Will be as brief as possible with this one...

Requesting SoW AFTER first deposit is so massively wrong that it doesn't even worth being commented!

Wondering how the relevant regulatory body would rectify and/or justify this crappy requirement in case you decide and go asking them...
