[Edited:] Multiple accounts & underage gambling question

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I'm 18 years old from the netherlands and i have been playing on unibet for 2 years approx.

When i was under 18 I used an other account. But when i became 18 i wanted a new account with the right information. So i made the new account and then one time i made 360 euros and i wanted to withdraw but my account was blocked. So unibet asked for the verify documents (my ID and proof of home adress) which i provided right away. But ofcourse Unibet quickly became aware of multiple accounts that i had made in the past. Now they are doing very shady about what is gonna happen with my 360 euros. Im contacting the live chat twice a day but they wont say anything useful.

My question is: Does anyone have experience with this problem or does anyone know what they usualy do in thes kind of situations and do i have chance fighting this if they decided to take my money away?

Well without meaning to be rude here - You've been playing underage for 2 years I'm guessing? I'm assuming the gambling age is 18 in the Netherlands is it?

If this is the case then don;t be surprised if you don't get your winnings since you've broken the law and indeed broken their terms for underage gambling. But either way anyway you've broken the terms with multiple accounts so I'd be very surprised if you get your winnings. Maybe your deposits back is the best you can hope for.

Hello there and welcome to AskGamblers.

Considering the fact you acknowledged violation of at least several different Unibet terms and conditions referring to underage gambling and registering of multiple accounts, totally agree that getting your last deposit is the best you could hope for.

You should know though that breaching and/or not adhering to the relevant casino terms and conditions is a sure recipe for a disaster. You'd better use the occasion and learn your lesson.

They’ll likely refund deposits. You did break their terms but they failed to have adequate controls to identify underage gambling (even if you were creative with the information on sign up-that’s the whole point of checks and balances).

I’d avoid 32red,Stan James and any other associated company in the future.

Well, I guess this could be post of the month, we all been there, doing stupid things and thinking of getting a way with it until get caught red-handed while trying to reel in the big fish. You are clearly a newbie and you have a lot to learn in this business. Online gambling business is harder than it used to be and for you this is a hard way to learn about it. You will not get paid what you won but there's a chance you will get your deposited money back if Unibet is willing to do so. Age of 16 is not a good age to start gambling, you could get addicted and destroy your future. If you think you are addicted to gambling I suggest you seek help before its too late.

Curious to know why you're being so harsh with these operators... :)

Not meant how it reads :p ....32 Red etc are excellent/truthworthy operators...

What i MEANT was that said person, to avoid any issues in the future given that he's been found to have been underage gambling, would maybe best to give a wide berth as they are all connected via Kindred. Not that i'm saying they would, but wouldn't want to win big and then be told 'given as you were found to be ....at one of our sister sites'

Aha, now that makes perfect sense... :)

Was about to announce you as the first ever UK punter to say a word against 32Red. :p
