Bet365 no protection for unauthorised payments
pinnit2015 replied to Yolostop's topic in Casinos General
Don't have much time but you can raise it with the financial ombudsman. Doesn't look like the chargeback process will help here. First Party Fraud is probably what they're most concerned about. https://www.fca.org.uk/consumers/unauthorised-payments-account Have you checked your credit file to see if there is any further activity on it? (Noddle/Clearscore are free) The new May-19 regulations don't really help here - they are for age and identity verifications - the person who seemingly used it on the site might well/should have went through - i don't understand why some places require the name of the account holder to marry up with the card holder name; rejected if otherwise (might be dependent upon the payment processor) -
I speak one fluently (ish), one i tried to learn whilst at Uni and one I tried, and failed miserably at, due to my inability to roll my tongue?

Plus, unless the casino is developing it's own bespoke games in house (3Dice), I don't see how a Bitcoin casino can offer me a 99% Netent RTP slot. BC casinos appear to have been busy sending out their messenger pigeons in the last few months.
-
I'd consider asking them, as TAG said, if you can withdraw via a different method (if possible) - problem is some casino's wouldn't let you as they'll say that the monies were won using that method so it doesn't matter what the new method is. Another 48 hours is more than enough time to get it sorted.
-
Discarded is an odd choice of word to use in terms of withdrawal status.? Makes it sound like, upon seeing the withdrawal. 'nah, we're not having any of that winning lark: discard it '
-
12! Nearly as many digits as half the number of letters in the alphabet ? Or they thought you were trying to add your account number twice, to get paid twice ?
-
What's a cheque??
-
Maybe just tell them: I'll have the same as the TAG's way of being paid ? Do they know if the faults lying at the payment processor end? They should be getting error codes back so it shouldn't be too hard to determine what the issue is. Or...they've just signed up to Slotsmillion's old payment processor?
-
Well, I’ve just received 250 2 quid spins and a 500 quid, wager once, bonus. And a signed picture of the Rep that I intend of putting above the Telly. All in all, a pretty decent return.

888 Withdrawal process (Philippines)
pinnit2015 replied to doggomomo's topic in Online Slot Discussions
If so: Yes No Rubbish -
Just incase you were looking for communication data? - think we spoke about how long it should be held for? Leovegas, in their terms (well done to them for including), give the retention periods for the data which will be the same all round for legal basis etc. Good for anyone reading for when a casino says ‘we don’t have that’ - you know they talking nonsense (and if there’s one thing I hate is a casino trying to obfuscate the facts ?

It's only cos it brings back the memories of watching Due South and halcyon days of BrexitBritpop.?

888 Withdrawal process (Philippines)

Sorry, can't help - had an 888 account when i first started out but that's before i became enlightened in terms of how bad they were/are. -
That's the thing - we've seen casino's have, for example, a duty re Money Laundering and in some VERY recent decisions, we've seen they don't even have a Money Laundering Reporting Officer. These things will only really be tested upon a UKGC investigation, whereby they'll look at the staff training etc as well - the full shabang. Good point re TAG - the politics at the time is crucial - right now there is a huge focus on this and 'Well, we asked them if the weather was nice and if they had enough money for the weekly baked beans shop', may not cut it. Always been the argument about setting rigid, minimum standards for companies to follow - they'll meet it and go no further. Job's a good 'un. Seems they've done ELEMENTS of what's expected but, as to whether the above discharges their responsibilities, is a matter of debate.

No problem - I've heard some Canadians have similar issues with other casinos, such as they 'Why are you asking for those details, we don't have them', so I'm sure it will have been noted before... Used to loathe entering BIC/IBAN/CIA/FBI numbers onto things like that - double checking, treble, copy and paste from the PDF statement, is it a zero or the letter O etc: A 6 digit sort code and 8 digit account number via Trustly is as far as I go these days ?

I hope Conor's reading this and adding bonus's to accounts, whilst partaking in Sunday beverages, as well. Those blurry, beer filed eyes, coupled with trigger happy keyboard fingers, can only mean one thing: £££££££££ $$$$$$$$$$$
-
Normally a decent casino, so I'd maybe look at getting @TheAverageGuy to help share any of his Canadian wisdom and/or common issues (that's if he has remembered how to withdraw)

Few points: Why have they referred you to an ADR like IBAS? - they will not touch a case regarding the adherence to the responsible gambling element of the LCCP. It's a regulatory matter, not a transactional dispute. To be fair to the casino: If there is an element of them 'reaching out' to the player, asking questions...then that would be a plus point, so to speak for them. Casumo, to add context, were criticised for not even contacting the player when they ought to have. From the above, this appears to have been what happened? This is also KEY - it's, in many ways irrelevant that your son had a gambling problem in the end - the key is whether their policies and procedures were reasonable to A. Identify him as requiring a follow up and then B. Upon following up, if the policies were sufficient and the decision based upon sufficient scrutiny, to allow him to continue. That's a question only a regulator can take a view on IMHO - but sadly one that will probably not. The only thing that, depending on their policies, that could be lacking is the lack of a SOW/SOF on the back of this. The UKGC view, could - and i say could- be that it's all very well asking someone 'are you OK?' but there has to be something else behind this such as a SOW/SOF (depending on the circumstances) The VIP element is missing - certainly, as i stated before, the due diligence should be higher for a player if the casino puts them in this bracket. As is the contact after account closure, which may go in your favour. Apologies if I'm contradicting previous statements but as you can imagine, the area is a mine-field and even I constantly swivel over this: each is a case by case basis - when i started as a wet behind the ears Auditor, we'd get accused of 'Not finding the fraud' by clients but at the end of the day, our policies and procedures were reasonable and therefore we couldn't be charged should one have occurred; hence, my mild casino sympathy in this respect. Personal view? - you've made the UKGC aware and that's as far as I can see it going pal. If it was me as the casino, given the bonus requests, the constant account closures, the heavy losses in short periods, I'd probably have suspended the account until a SOF/SOW came through. Or, hedged my bets and closed the account if I had real worries: again, the issue is that some people are wealthy and losing 100k a year is the same as Jo Punter losing 200 quid.
-
Cheers Conor - thought as much but was just curious as always ? Is there any chance that the grammatical errors also spill into the numerical kind? - Kinda hoping it would mean that a 5 quid bonus would magically become 500? ?
-
Quick question Conor? Probably not the first time you've been asked (or indeed maybe answered!) but the lack of quickspin on the slots? 1. Is this due (imposed) to the games running on the Alderney Licence? - BGO are the same. 2. If so, will this likely change in the future or will a possible '3 second rule' between spins mean it'll stay as it is? You'll likely get mainly positive reviews as, aside from the above and a platform that IMO could do with a spring clean, Trada is a top Gin Joint(no way influenced by my recent bonus added due to being with you guys for 3 years ?) See - I can be friendly to reps.
-
It is friendly. Going to bow out of this one.
-
If that's the case, then i stand corrected (for the airport) Where i don't though is the rumours that swelled as to the ownership of the casino, which in turn was picked up again when the UKGC booted your licence out the window as to the owners suitability. And i didn't come up with that ? You might have called all this conjecture in other places, and internet whisperings, but you don't get your licence taken off you, and comments from the UKGC that the new owner was not 'full and frank', for nothing.

Not all though. I think Genting, however, may offer 94 % across the board. Typically, a lot are in the range of 78-85%, some 88-94%. If you're in Sweden I'm pretty sure some of theirs go as low as 50%. Land Based casinos have the same 'choice' over which RTP to run (if the provider offers it) but (see below) they would be mad to pick the highest. Hence why LB ranges are greater than that of online. Makes sense they have to be - cover the fixed overheads/lighting/heating/staff/building. Also - the type of person you're trying to skin: online you know people will be back to your site, possibly each day for the next 2 weeks. You don't need to grab all their cash in one go...compare that to resorts like Vegas etc, where maybe you're gonna get 2/3 good days out of a tourist; you want to hit them for as much in that timeframe - that's a very cynical outlook, but I'm sure there's some merit in it. No minimum RTP for the UK - lowest I've seen here is 72%, possibly 68% at one time. Either way - i've never been fussed about the RTP in LB - its more about the night/morning out, not a hardened Bonanza session: I tend to play roulette when i do go, anyhow.
