  1. Well exactly, it’s a form of escapism; it’s why a lot of these addictions merge into one after another. Many cases banning x y z etc is just treat the symptom. As above, you could restrict more but the effect would be disproportionate IMO. And on a personal note I’m getting fed up with banning and restrictions as if I’m an idiot who has no free will. On the plus side, good to see Blueprint has got around the bonus buy ban; for the time being
  2. If you can't wait until the car stops to play starburst, i think 6 months may be a tad optimistic.
  3. SV: Single withdrawal 3.5k, total deposits circa 10k ish WH - bit lower, say 1k withdrawal and about <10k deposits Both going above the 2k threshold that many casinos (MGA predominately)request DNA for. Rest assured that v few, if any UK ones, will never ask for a selfie etc. Strange, or not, the differences between the two - and i doubt the UK ones, with such a large turnover and possible fines, are the ones doing it wrong so to speak.
  4. Mate, you need to work on the complaint - you're going to get nowhere with pinging them emails. GDPR does apply to non EU companies but the issue is in the enforcement of it and the fact many non EU countries will simply choose to ignore it.... Maybe the rep here @montecryptos can help you locate the transaction logs to assist with sorting it out. Shouldn't take longer than, er, 3 seconds.
  5. Don’t think there’s any department there that is concerned...
  6. @ValDes can chime in tomo....I meant the complaint process via here
  7. They look like they engage with the AG people here so, and if I was the complaints team, I’d hope they’d be asking for it if you tell as part of your complaint that it’s been refused...maybe that’s not how it works but I’d hope that wouldn’t be much of an ask.
  8. ADR: alernative dispute resolution
  9. Subject access request : GDPR they must supply information if you’re an EU Resident. Presume transaction logs would fall under this. Applies even if they’re not based in the EU but are offering citizens of the EU services. Why don’t you refine the complaint for her : even add into the complaint that key information is being withheld? Don’t see the point in emailing them anymore; you’re just going round in circles
  10. My view on casinos and payments is, and generally speaking, if a casino takes your deposit or bet then, barring you being engaged in lying or misleading ( or the casino not being able to do anything) etc they should either pay out or, at least refund you the cash. Played a restricted game? You let me bet on it; your fault you never implemented any controls to stop me going into it(we all know casinos can stop this being an issue and the only reason it is is because it serves them better) I don’t know enough about matching accounts to card names to say for certainty about your example.
  11. The only option is to do through the ADR or complaints process and see if it’s supplied as part of that. You can request a SAR from the casino; are you based in Europe? I know Valdes has said to supply it but if the casinos not doing this, I’m not sure if that can be incorporated into the complaint. Bit hard to argue your case if they’re not being forthcoming with that information.
  12. Said before that I don’t know what’s the barriers to matching account holder on the site to the payment method and throwing a flag up when they don’t match via the payment processor...some do it; I went to pay something years ago using my Gfs card and it said ‘names must match’ so it can be done.... There is an argument along the lines of your take the bet, you must pay or any failings on controls are on the casino so to speak. One again that would be interested to see tested in court Additionally, it’s not just a breaking of the ta and CS of the casino but also your partners bank Truth be told this is a pretty clear cut t and c so the best you could probably hope for is your deposits back. At best. Can’t see any complaint service or ADR ruling in your favour They don’t ask for payment methods before that threshold because, simply, they don’t have to
  13. You’ll have hit the enhanced due diligence checks of 2k plus. Some casinos, v v low number, might allow you to deposit using a different name if you can show they’ve permitted you to. But most wont. Same as some sites online: cardholder name must match account name or payment is refused but the majority of sites, not just casinos, allow them to be different. If you take this to an ADR they’ll likely rule in favour of the casino. Curiosity; why use a card not in your name?
  14. Is this the sports version of Johnnys proven slots system?
  15. What's the casino? They're basically trying to cap your cash deposit? That's nonsense. Terms are such, from what you've quoted, that it's only if you dip into the bonus funds that are capped x10. The cancelling of the withdrawal, from limited info, is irrelevant. I depo 50, matched 50 = 100: Get up to 500, withdraw 450. If, and have done, cancelled that withdrawal and get up to 2k, I get the 2k - because bonus funds haven't been touched. Providing you didn't dip into then NONE of your winnings resulted from the bonus, ergo, x10 doesn't apply.
  16. Is 247 the amount of time, in years, it takes them to respond?
  17. Not sure of sample size but i'd expect this.....Unlike drink/smoking etc gambling doesn't typically have peer pressure 7% is pretty low and even then, a % of them will possibly have gambled previously, so the 'first time' by advert is probably even lower
  18. UKGC Report 2018https://www.gamblingcommission.gov.uk/PDF/survey-data/Young-People-and-Gambling-2018-Report.pdf
  19. Well, to start with Smoking is proven to cause a direct health issues/death etc : it doesn't discriminate between folk like gambling does, so whilst a comparison can be made, they are at two totally different spectrums IMO. Gambling doesn't addict everyone, smoking has (to greater degrees) bad affects on the ENTIRE population... Take the UK - can't advertise before 9pm, in game advertising at football half times is banned...basically leaves sponsorship at events etc and tbh i don't have a problem with that. TBH i've not seen enough IMPARTIAL research to comment with greater certainty - just my person views...i'll have to have greater look.
  20. Farage - 'The War Is Over - We have Won' Singing the national anthem and flags on sticks. Make it stop. I'm off to Krakow in a few weeks for a long weekend - might see if they'll keep me. There are valid points against a super state EU but unfortunately they've been lost amidst a sea of hate fuelled, foreigner despising, nationalism. Luckily i have dual nationality so time to whip out the Irish Passport when needed.
  21. This? I imagine a second Scottish vote in the coming years, voting out of the UK. Northern Ireland will stay as it'll be mayhem if anythings proposed there 54000 laws to pick through - as if. They're staying. Next 5-10 years are just going to be series of attempts to put trade deals in place - that'll take up the bulk of it i imagine.
  22. How it should be - all done in the background and no PDF's etc.... SV allow you to take back to different deposit methods as well. If they got more providers I wouldn't play anywhere else (bar maybe one site)
  23. And we're out But fear not, Scotland will be back in it in a few years once Indyref2 gets the predicted Yes vote Yes, from Churchill to Boris....not much of a difference and/or fall from grace.
  24. Don't mean to stoke the fire but if confident about the above why ask for a gesture of goodwill? - I'd be pushing for ALL my cash. If i knew i didn't do anything wrong I'd not be looking a penny less, so, if so, lodge the complaint on that basis.
  25. But, tbh, that's far too cool. This is more apt Rule Brit....nope.
