You pay tax? Sort you out with a nice EBT. We've the lovely new tax regime here in Scotland
-
You don’t need to tell them it’s for a casino payout! All you need to say is I want a copy of.... Could be for a mortgage or whatever. Either way, it’s none of their business. Oh, and i hate most HR departments through my course of work :-)
-
Not me in front of it...more of a witness ;-) Going to watch some Ally McBeal and pretend it’s realistic

Nah, from a risk management perspective ive decided to accept the risk in its entirety. I gave him some cotton wool and told him to stick it in his ears - that’ll cover me for sure. Hopefully come back today and he will have cut the Bonanza D into the back garden. If not I guess I’ll see him at an employment tribunal Which incidentally is what I’m prepping for next week. ;-)
-
I avoid cutting my grass. I pay the neighbours kid a tenner. He is only about 9 and I’m allowing him to operate heavy machinery. Hopefully that won’t go wrong .

Pipers piped up! ;-) I though ValDes had taken you to a cliff top and told you to handpick the flower that was precariously close to the edge ;-)

Well they are a restaurant in an airport who are likely to be a chain...chains have HR or at least an individual who acts as such :-p How else would the person be employed ;-) For me the P60 is sufficient. Sounds like original poster may be on a zero hour contract?

We are dealing with the internet here - it’s led to keyboard warriors arising. People who wouldn’t say boo to a ghost and are afraid of sunlight, but give them a keyboard and they suddenly become John Wayne. For that bad ish side it’s outweighed by different views, greater knowledge and debate.

Oh Anno, I’m all for uncensored, unless purposefully vindictive :-) Like me prattling on about how rubbish casino groups interpretation of SOWs are or how ineffective UK GC is - it’s my opinion based on x y z. Is it a bashing? Well not really :-p And if either or want to come on and disagree then happy enough to engage ;-)
-
Eh? I’m a member of both and I have no idea what you are talking about. You’re making it sound like this is their corporate policy. Possibly are some forum led posts from members but that’s the internet for you, differing views, opinions etc. Eg. The Pogg have Skill on Net casinos blacklisted, CM has them accredited and I play at one of them :-) I think Afi has made a few premature presumptions in his statement - sorry Pal.

The GiG/MT are amongst the least common senseable of the casinos when it comes to this so they’ll continue to ask and ask. There is the easy and the hard way. You could choose to dig heels in, not supply etc and you will still get paid but it may take a bit. Other option is to swallow it and go and ask HR for any employment letter/confirmation. I presume they want something saying your contracted hours?

Most worrying comment of your post is ‘700 stolen from kids mouths’ Either over dramatic or hopefully your not spunking more than you can into slots. Don’t really understand what pick and mix is (full stops and paragraphs are your friend) to even comment. Sometimes casinos have discretion to pay you (Trada adopt a common sense approach) but other than that you’re unlikely to get anything back.

I must admit I have been known to have certain feelings about sites. For me it was MT Securesites. For love nor money I could never get above a starting balance. Then it got double wild lines on one in space of two weeks and go from 4K down to 2k up. It’s like a self fulfilling prophecy - u start going into a site with the mental mindset of you’re losing. Guts casino was my hoodoo. I must admit to emailing them a few times and asking what server their version of Immortal Romance was plugged into ;-) Not saying casinos can’t do anything amiss but they are only the dodgy ones who for example are running pirated software for example. Decent ones, like Trada, will also have their yearly audits done.

What was the comment about RTP? If it was stating a low RTP as a negative point then I can see why it's yanked - unless you believe legitimate casinos can affect the RTP If i used that as a basis for review then every casino would get a 2/10

Submit a complaint I presume...Top of site bar and it’ll be processed. That’s where you see the person responding. Also, slow pay/no pay? This casino/group is long associated with such. If you get your money, take it elsewhere in the future and not there.

Indeed, what a lucky escape the OP had. Think of some of the refusals to pay in the past: - taking 2 bonus offerings across 2 casinos in the same group - breach, money seized - betting 5 quid a spin when max is 4.99 - breach, money seized - 2 accounts from same house on some occasions, even though different persons - seized - betting on a restricted game, seized And then...use another card to deposit which is both a security issue, fraud flag, potentially illegal for all they know...nah that's fine but don't do it again you naughty rascal you... What a weird world casinos are in

Finally a reply. It was shoddy at best. Here’s what a lottery win is Generally 'media coverage' would be for example of a lottery win however, it's most likely that we just require a copy of your payslips and/or bank statements for this process. Yes, the lottery winner who plays 9p dead or alive. It's most likely? You either require it or you don't. And/or - again, which one is it? Steady on with the decisiveness. Quite frankly if i won the lottery I'd probably buy a share in GiG, sack their Head of Legal and draft a proper procedure. And then tap myself into the 1000% RTP DOA server.

Long story short - comes from 4th EU ML Directive. The UKGC have transposed this in terms of their regulations/guidance but so many flaws and issues regarding how casinos are interpreting this. To my knowledge, worst case, if you refuse to comply your money will be held by the casino with a report sent to the NCA (national crime agency) who will then review and, providing you’re not a ML!, release the funds to you. Mental. But... issues over casinos holding your withdrawal to ransom conflicts with licence conditions. If Can’t find the UK relevant info then PM me. That’s absurd. Had you not made the withdrawal they wouldn’t have asked.

Think the term dodged a bullet springs to mind! Having said that it does raise questions about the casinos security measures - does the casino know you received permission/is the card registered to the same address? If my card was stolen etc and I found it was used on a site i don't think I'd be overly impressed if that was their response...never mind the AML regulations so often quoted This is a term that normally comes with it: Use of a credit card not registered to the Player will be deemed fraudulent and will result in winnings being voided Providing you're not the above, enjoy the winnings

This was Brian - his title said 'VIP Manager'. With such a title you'd presume he'd know who and who they can't accept. -

Yeah, another casino that likes to play by the (however you perceive them as good) rules. They take UK players without a UKGC licence. Are you Lizzie? -
Don’t know how it can’t not be flagged at depositing though. Some sites, non gambling, that if I went to use Mrs Ps card on an account in my name it would say ‘cardholder and account holder do not match’ and not let you use. Not all do this admittedly, must be company/site specific. Regardless, looks like you may have caught a lucky break and it will be processed, or has been. Having said that they’ve unlocked it for withdrawal so still could be rejected. But normally they’d just refuse it at verification stage - may still get pulled at payment side. Personally? I wouldn’t use the casino again incase it’s brought up as a future reason to refuse withdrawal. Funny how scrutiny goes hand in hand with withdrawal size Might be wise to set up a ‘clean’ account regardless of the outcome.

Ooft...what casino? This is, in my experience, going to cause you a problem. Deposits are normally stated to have to be in your name and yours alone. You may also flag up on the fraud radar (they don't know you have permission) If I was to hazard a guess I'd imagine they will refuse your withdrawal and possibly even close account Why use their card? Having said that, when transactions are made why can't the casinos refuse the transaction based on fact card holder and a/c holder don't match?

One more point...I think the certificate of winnings request is because i ticked a box to say that some of my deposits came from winnings from other casinos. Errr...do'oh. That's how it works - win some from Casino A and use it to deposit it in Casino B, for example. What they don't realise that unless you gather all the players information re deposits/withdrawals from all casinos then it makes this a pretty pointless exercise. And also, it verges more on a RG check. Again....what's the de-minimus level you're looking for? 500 quid w/d, 1k? Or just a data dump of everything? Money Laundering is a complex business - hence why Big 4 Accounting Firms hire forensic accountants. Are casino's really equipped to to that with all the information they're requesting? I doubt it. What they should be doing is risk assessing people for their requests - changes in betting patterns, increases in deposits, previously know to authorities etc. Not just blindly SOW'ing people for a tenner deposit. That's pure lazy. Other thing - deposits come from debit card...bank has their own AML procedure and money goes to casino from bank. Surely there must be some scope of cross collaboration. Where the UKGC get this idea that ML is rife in casinos is beyond me. Withdrawals back to same card, KYC checks, it's not a cash business, clear digital trails etc.

Did you not see the story in the Guardian about how I got a Bonanza bonus? National headline. I know-one of the questions I asked was why they have no explanation of what each is and what they accept. Bank statement but everything else redacted? Can I pick any organisation of my choosing? Also, what basis do they SOW-blanket policy or risk assessed. Companies really need to start engaging their brains.
