  1. Woohoo 851! Win: 278 coins Living the dream. Don’t think we can play booming anyhow (never heard of them)
  2. Boom or bust :-) or bust and bust. Sounds like my DOA session today - 800 spins and no free spins. When it comes it’s 36 coins :-)
  3. Exactly....the fact that they feel the need to make a second type of game that basically 'may pay well' kinda says it all! I don't see many other providers releasing games with the tag 'here's the rubbish version and there's also a not so rubbish version'. All software providers exist to make profit and, maybe other providers have been cuter with it, but Netents releases over the last few hears have been so obvious in their money grabbing it's eye watering. Listen; they're still a massive provider, market share is still sub 30% etc etc but that ain't for lasting. But if they think this a Megaways concept that's going to stop the tide of their decline, i think they're wrong. Nokia were once market leaders - look how it went for them - time at the top doesn't last long if you don't move with the times
  4. Don't think anyones had all the bars on Starburst, so that chances of the above happening i imagine will be low It won't make me rush to play them unfortunately. The problem is their low paying guff is now engrained onto the minds of gamblers and will require a massive shift of consciousness. The other problem is that they can tag this as MAX etc but many people, having played their rubbish (Finn/Asgardian Stones and the rest), will simply not believe it. Happy to be corrected though. I'm not sure of the need for it to be honest - they developed probably one of, if not THE, best game in DOA. They came really close with Jungle Spirit (a few tweaks and it was there) and still have really good games in Wild Rockets and Secret of the Stones. Personally, they'd have been better taking the maths/mechanics of the above and applying it to their new releases. Maybe it will work but i'm sceptical. Primarily for the reason that it's being developed by a company who appear to have lost their tether in terms of understanding what players like - I'd a look at their annual report and their management commentary shows a company who do not know who they are anymore (a comment by the CEO read 'Jumanji' has been well received. Really, by whom? A 3 year old goat?) To be fair, they are trying something but for people who are used to high payouts in BTG's/Novomatics/Merkur/PNG, they have some miles to go. And to try such a new model on a game that could have been fathered by Starburst isn't the best idea IMO. Time will tell (or rather the second quarters figures will ) And the fact that Leo Vegas have seemingly deemed them surplus to requirement isn't encouraging (what's the deal with that? Apparenetly they're not making a comeback on that site )
  5. Tis a disgrace what the Australian government (as well as the Canadian's/American) has done re online gaming. Who are these faceless creatures who can impose what they want/don't want on others? Fear not...for whenever they find a suitable approach for how to steal from online casinos sorry, my bad, tax them then, you may see their return. How long that will be is anyones guess though. Yeah I think Videoslots have held out for as long as they can - I'm sure they've received a few 'strongly' worded letters Whilst I'm relatively content with the UKGC here, should online gaming suffer the same fate, then it's Hi Ho, Hi Ho, it's off to Costa Rica I go (which probably contradicts all of my previous rantings about non licensed casinos )
  6. You’re closing more accounts than any high street bank could dream of! :-p
  7. OJOs VIP programme is worth playing at them solely for that. They fire you regular freebies and being wager free you normally cash out more often than not. Certainly beats x35 wagering :-p
  8. Probably saved you a few quid if you were on to play Moon Princess :-p
  9. I actually had a 550 spin session on Jumanji as part of Casumo’s races last night -50p bet biggest win was 35 quid. But to be fair it had be 50 quid up by the end of it. But it’s still pretty grim. I’d rather lose my money playing 2 spins with 50 quid rather than be ground down over a longer period of time :-p
  10. The other change I noticed are there are more 5 line wins in the new one - which would account for the bonus's being more regular but poorer (as there's more RTP in the base game). More near misses as well.... These are just my informal observations....but the key point is/was: was i confident that the 'new' one could/would pay out like the old...answers yes obviously (we just get there via a different means ) Better go to work - was meant to be in at 8 and it's 9.30
  11. To be fair I'm still of the option that the variance has been flattened out - you definitely get more bonus's in the new (just more rubbish ones) Bonanza can be so brutal that I don't think you'd even notice any changes Funnily enough I was driving between Glasgow and Edinburgh last month and i saw a pattern on a Van on the motorway and it was an SG van - some strange looks from the passenger as i roared 'RHIIINNNNOOOOO' when we passed
  12. I miss Vera John's conversion: Withdraw 100 quid, 104 hits bank. Still none the wiser if this as casino/bank's issue but sadly it's stopped/corrected now.....
  13. I was the same yesterday -was about 300 down, no bonus and then back to back (within 10 spins) put me to 500 - jumped ship, battered by DOA and took out what i put in
  14. I know there's a feeling, as Afi will know, that games play different on different bet sizes. And to be fair, there's something in that. The RTP is the RTP. HOW you achieve that, is perfectly up to the game. So, it would be perfectly legal (and in line with the testing that games go through), that each different bet size has a different RTP, or a different variance. So if you note a change in play between bet sizes it's possible that the maths/variance is different. Check the help file of the game and see what it says. As i said before, I've kinda went towards Afi's thinking on RTP - unless it's 92% like RTG, I'm not too fussed. WHat's important is that you understand the variance of a game. Because if you don't, it will ruin your expectations of a slot. People complaining about Raging Rhino and rubbish bonus offerings maybe don't get that it's a HV game - it's what it's meant to be like - all or nothing. Mainly nothing.
  15. Think of NYX etc as an intermediary between casino and software (Videoslots and BTG) Some casinos can host the game directly or via a platform (like NYX). One casino give a run down of why most use differing platforms - mainly costs. It's cheaper to use NYX for example as they do x,y,z for the cost of the fee. Like a broker. I've heard that BTG's games will be able to be delivered via quickfire in the future as well. I used to love Raging Rhino when it was just WMS....SG, not so sure Tinfoil hat aside, the game is the game - the maths and mechanics of the game belong to the software provider so in theory there's nothing a NYX or any platform can do to change that Or is there...
  16. Casumo are officially broken - second one today, this time 5 minutes. Someone tell Piper - he loves Casumo.
  17. If I'd to pay those fees I'd simply not gamble. It's disgusting. Very few places here charge - off top of head it's BGO who, despite plowing money into expensive TV adverts and hiring celebrities to promote them, still charge. Some places the first is free but subsequent withdrawals are free (Leo Vegas are so cash strapped you have to wait to level 30 until all withdrawals are free) but yeah, BGO are the only ones who charge on deposit as far as i know (2.5%). Rizk dropped theirs as well recently. You can bask in the knowledge that your fee's are a little contribution to their executives pensions.
  18. BTG won't be selling anytime soon - with an approximate 25% shared of all game play across casinos, making a bonus frequency of 450 spins the norm and their super high variance games, they're creaming it in If the Devil ever walks the earth he'll be in the T Shirt 'There's no D in Bonanza'
  19. Nope... Earlier this year SG bought NYX, who were previously the platform for BTG games, hence why we're seeing SG. Sky Vegas are the only ones AFAIK who didn't use NYX so you'll not see anything different there. SG are gigantic - just another notch for them (they have Bally/Barcrest/WMS)
  20. So what you’re saying is that the standard line of ‘if you take a bonus we need extra time to check etc’ is a load of bulls@@@? Thought so :-p Yeah, I don’t think Casumo is a great casino (a good one) - the only reason I’m playing is because it been on a streak for me for 3 months (managed to pull a deficit in my lifetime there to a positive in those months). But correct - their getting rid of perks etc kinda tells me where their priorities lie and player rentention probably isn’t it :-p
  21. Casumo withdrawal approved in 2 minutes :-0. Is this a change back to how they used to be ;-) or a system glitch. Update if I make another one :-p
  22. SM aren’t bad. Their times are erratic though, no weekend cash outs however. They could be so much better though but have went backwards since their UK launch last year IMO. If a casino offers the lock does that imply that reversals aren’t their objective but rather poor payment processes/over zealous risk appliance? Maybe Afi can confirm this re Direx - if you take a bonus and meet wagering etc: do the payments take longer?
  23. Depends of the region? What, so London's fine but the Northerners aren't? Maybe the UK needs to get in touch with their Chinese counterparts regarding the interweb
