Ah... I was thinking of the Ancient Egypt already there. So the newer version is the ‘classic’. Ok, scrap the above it may not be 10p/10c then.

What are considered normal waging requirements?
pinnit2015 replied to jogobo's topic in Casinos General
You might want to look at any reference to the maximum conversion. Take a 50 quid bonus, with x2 conversion, means that should you meet wagering with 1000 in the balance , only 100 will be paid. Viks and Progress Play casinos like Mr Superplay have ones like this. Does having such a low conversion make a casino bad/dodgy? Hmm... not really, it just means they’re not a bonus players ideal place. At the end of the day, unless it’s being randomly dropped into your account, no one forces you to take it etc. Poor bonus terms don’t bother me that much if I’m honest. Only issue is if those poor terms spill over to the rest of the casino. -
Not normally, no....but Mr D is no mere mortal As V has said casino/software provider is a B2B model --providers have little or no interest normally in talking to players so it's great if there are a few starting to realise that it benefits them/us to do so. I'd love to visit a place and get it from the horse's mouth as to RTP/Maths Models/Reel Bands/Testing and piercing the veil with the real question - how much does it cost to rig a slot ....*hint hint* Wouldn't hold your breath on more like this - exception rather than the rule

Can only talk about UK but our bonus offerings have taken a hammering due to the changes to the tax that has to be paid on them - fewer of them and more wagering where they are offered (lovely UK Govt just announced today that gaming taxes are to increase so i'm sure your average punter and smaller casino will feel the brunt of that) Normally x35 here...x40 max. I don't really have a problem with them/the wagering - they are second chance offerings, not tied to real cash here anyway so ho hum.... -
Given that casinos frequently tell us they have no ability to modify a game as it’s pulling from the software company’s servers, now that there is a rep in the software company, would it be frowned upon if one were to attempt to try and convince him/her to utilise the ‘1000% VIP RTP Button’ for said account? Ok, thought not, just putting it out there.

Also, these I imagine are the types of comps that most gamblers like and want. Highest multipliers doesn’t discriminate between low or high rollers. Not raffles, not biggest cash win etc. I don’t know why I don’t enter Afi. Partly due to the fact I need to stop saving them to desktop as I can’t even see the recycle bin or know which ones are which :-p I’ll be posting on this one. And no, I don’t save them all to post one minute before the closing time :-p.

Betat etc allow you to filter the games between HV and LV. It’s not an exact science but gives you a general feel. Pitching the right variance is pretty key for software developers and quite a hard task. Pretty much as above...most providers specialise in one or the other. But they can change - for example, blueprint were typically low variance in the past but now producing some HV slots (napoleon/some like the megaways releases) The less the games pay in the base game, the normally the higher they are (not exact but usually a typical indicator) In terms of striking a balance between base game wins to tick you over but with a big bonus payout, I find that Novos have it pretty much nailed on.

Just to add that you can play this game on 10c/10p.

On a winning run of two comps from two so will have a stab at this. Funnily just finished emailing Dan my Skrill :-) I’ll tell him to save it for the future :-p PP can be cold but they do see more of my budget. Had a few 1000 plus Xs in them and that’s when I didn’t play them much Some seriously high variance tho - my personal fav is Peking Luck.

It likes giving the 1250 ish X wins....mine on a quid was similar to yours I think. Yeah, I upped to a quid later and it was as cold as the Scottish shores... Best strategy for me is play on 20 or 40p and then if it wins 1000x jump up for a 100 quid. Don’t pay? Leave. No matter how much you want to see 5 jars all lined up on a minimum of 15 a jar :-) Put it this way - my RTP on it isn’t even 200% at VS despite several 1000 plus X wins. Why? Because most sessions are around the 40% mark. Whilst I do like playing I think DOA is better Value for Money. It won’t kill you as quickly and it’s been show to have regular 2k plus x winners Probably with both of these slots is that it’s very difficult to have a good 2 quid session on them. You mainly play at lower bets so when the big X wins come the chances are they’re going to be on lower stakes - unless you have an endless pile of cash/get lucky

I’m very easily swayed...or bought haha I was until all others were rubbish (Bonanza, doa, Novos etc) Next beast to try and hit 1k plus is Elk but not even sure if that’s possible unless laying 10 quid bets To be fair I think JJ is the best from push - boy when it’s cold it’s cold. Took out money last night from the weekend, left 100 and did quids on JJ. Went to make dinner and came back to 10 quid. Ooft- 3526 replies

Only agreement i enter into is with Mrs Pinnit whereby we go 'put 100 in each and share' Being a nicer person than me, generally speaking, she's very honest with her wins on the other sofa and a 50% cut is duly received. Me? I've been known to hit the withdrawal button and go 'awww shucks it's all gone and not even a bonus' The only time i dropped the ball was, in the excitement of hitting 4k in DOA years ago, forgetting about said agreement and running into the other room to show. Then it dawned on me the mistake I'd made

It's OK....made it to the 'Harps' several times and nothing.... Bonus is a bit more frequent that JATB but still as frustrating and you do seem to get to the final stage a bit more often. A decent ish game for the odd 20 quid but not one I'd rattled through a 100 deposit on.

Presumably this was done on the phone? Main issue here is does 'total block' (if that's the words used) equate to self exclusion. If yes and certain if UK, all transactions will need to be void (Net Deposits) and money returned. What leaves it open to interpretation (to anyone ruling on the above) is whether saying you wanted a block was indirectly/directly saying you had a problem. For example, could just be frustration and not necessarily a statement that you were a problem gambler. Or....it could be viewed as a 'time out' (which i think will disappear in the future as the lines between that and SE can be very thin). Do you need to explicitly state 'Self Exclude me'? AFAIK, not necessarily - you could ring up and say you were spunking your salary every month, lost house and wanted to close your account. As below, pretty sure there was something that said that a casino should have viewed this as a SE (can't remember where i read it). Such an approach is riddled with problems in my view but i can see the point. The UKGC has been asking casinos to be more proactive when it comes to identifying problem gamblers - people who ask for bonus offers are being tagged as this for example, and there was one case recently that the GC stated that when the casino say this they should have done more - getting a bit ridiculous now IMO. Did you get an email etc confirmation after this and, if so, what did it say? If you'd done this online, via their links etc, it'd be pretty clear what exactly you did enter into. I'd a casino wrongly classify my a/c closure as a SE years ago - showing the perils of leaving it to be an arbitrary decision to be made by the casino. If you didn't have a conversation around something like being a problem gambler I'd hazard a guess it'd be viewed as a timeout and ergo, the money is gone. Just my view - i don't know the workings of the regulator, only from a passing interest, and to be fair some of the guidance here in the UK is a little sparse around certain areas.

Potentials definitely there but no much room in the base game to keep you rolling on. Bonus or nothing....gives me heart palpitations above a quid... Think it’s a slot for the end of the day when you’ve twenty quid left and decide to do some 0.40. Gonna give a run on 40p to a quids later - I envisage it lasting 10 minutes :-)- 3526 replies

Netents only good for me for Reel Steal, Secret of the Stones and DOA. Couldn’t care less about the rest - guff. BUT a deposit that had no DOA isn’t for me. They’ve been a bit smoke and mirrors regarding why they’ve been pulled. I do like a Pragmatic Session though, and the fact that they reward you for one deposit a week, so they’ll still see me - just not as much. Would also be helpful if they stopped using the Alderney licence as well for Netents as the lack of quickspin in some of the games makes them unplayable for me- 8 replies

Just ping this onto this thread... Things I liked about Novibet was they had to ability to cancel a withdrawal. It was flushed basically. Now I see they’ve added a cancel pending button sadly. Not hard to think why
