How long has this been running? I don't remember ever seeing it before and I'm definitely signed up at Sloto - is it sent via e-mail? But what a great idea! I wish there was a real monthly gaming magazine about the latest slots and casinos, that would be a great read.

Absolutely Afi, most of the time the games don't fully explain the supposed benefits from paying for the "Bonus Bet", so the only way to assess whether it's worth it is to play with on for a few hundred spins by which point you've already paid for it even if you decide it's not worth it! I bet the house edge on those bets is much higher than the 5% or so of the slot machine, that's for sure.

I think the current design is great, very clean and modern and much better than those "other" popular on-line gambing forums where I used to hang about a lot. The atmosphere here is so much friendlier too!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQJlx0ffLYo I got it! It's the picture icon third from the left, or you can use the <site> tags. Not sure why I need to do it that way if other people don't though? -
I'm back on the same computer I had the problem on yesterday again now and can confirm everything is okay !

I wonder why mine stays just as text then? Do you include the http:// bit? -
I was chatting some more about this late last night and as I understand it we have the free games here on the site already and each time they are played the results of each spin have to be sent to the game and processed in order to display the result. It should be possible to use that information to keep track of each players score outside the game itself. My boyfriend seems confident it can be done and he's usually right about these things, but until he actually demonstrates it to me I think I should probably remain skeptical. It would be great if he's right though!

Which country are you in Afi4wins? Where I live in the UK there are four large casinos including two big names plus a brand new "Super Casino" all within just a few miles, and it's just a completely different experience to playing on-line. I don't even mind finishing the night a couple of hundred down at the real casino because I've had such a great night out for my money ... I always feel a little disappointed when that happens at the on-line casinos.

Well,. now I've heard it all.! But coming from you cocopop I have no doubt you are telling the truth. Can I have misjudged the game? I don't know, but I fear for my deposit playing this game on 60p a spin that's for sure! I can imagine it being an option when playing a wagering requirement if your balance is big enough, but there have to be so many better options don't there?

Really ?! I don't think I have ever seen a screenshot above 200x bet on the game, and I have *NEVER* seen a jackpot hit despite the games supposed popularity. On a game that pays only 500x maximum, this should happen at least occasionally shouldn't it? I absolutely agree with this and think that explains the games popularity - with casino operators at least! Casinos will often give out 5, 10 or 20 starburst spins as an "incentive" for players to sign up, but they are of course worth next to nothing and Starburst is a game that rarely pays out more than those handful of spins are worth, it's definitely one you need to play for a while to get a hit that brings your RTP back up to where it should be. Isn't that just the WORST kind of slot, one that eats your balance slowly but surely and only occasionally boosts you back above your starting balance?

I hated Twin Spin for a "reel" long time (sorry) but after receiving 50 free spins on the game recently and hitting some huge wins my opinion has changed somewhat. I guess I didn't realize just how big this game could pay! Even so, getting four locked reels on 2 to 5 and then not getting a matching symbol on the first reel is soul destroying !
-
Absolutely, hitting the stop button in the middle of a spin has absolutely no effect on the final outcome. I know it's nice to think you have a little control but think about it - if there was any element of skill involved it would open the floodgates for cheaters using software tools or other means to force a win possibly by slowing the game down or something like that. It's just not realistic to expect a game to work that way. I do sometimes stop and change game if I haven't hit anything good within a hundred spins or so, but sometimes I like to keep playing with the idea that I must be "due" something good soon! Neither approach is backed up by any sound mathematical thinking however - it simply doesn't matter which game you play or how many spins you put through it, over the long term your results will be the same. Avalon 2 is a fun game but I hate the fact you have to play through all the various bonus rounds in sequence. Playboy Thunderstruck 2 and The Finer Reels of Life are similar games that allow you to choose your favourite feature each time the scatters drop which suits me much better. Casumo and Cashmio are great casinos, NetBet not so much. I also recommend trying Videoslots, they are my current favourite.

Casino reps are forever telling us that NetEnt's "Starburst" is one of the most popular games at their casino, a statement which amazes me every time I read it - I think this game is completely terrible! It's unexciting, the maximum win is extremely low, and there are no features to speak other than the expanding wild respin which awards absolutely nothing nine times out of ten. Why on earth would this game be popular? If you like the game, why? And do any casino reps have any statistics to back up the assertion that this is one of the most popular on-line casino games? I'd be truly fascinated to hear some views on this topic! Thanks for your time folks

My favourite Microgaming (only) casino is 32 Red and they offer 0.25 up to 150.00 per spin on the numbers or 0.25 up to 1000.00 on red/black. Care to tell us a bit more about your system? There's nothing wrong with playing a system as long as you enjoy it and understand it can't beat the house edge over the long term.

coco that is unbelievable! You have to go, it's the best night out there is. I visit a friend in LLandudno a couple of times a year, we should so hook up and go to the casino you'll have the time of your life!

Okay, here's what my amazing boyfriend has to say on the matter!... "...I'm not sure if all games work the same way but a lot of Microgaming slots used to send the results of each spin back to the client in a HTTP packet which the game reads and uses to display the result accordingly. It should be possible to catch these and use the data to update a running total elsewhere on the page. I'd have to take a look at the format of the data and write some code to make it work, wouldn't be hugely difficult if every game formats it's results in the same way. I could start having a look at it at the weekend and then we'll need a few people to participate in a trial run..." If I could twist his arm into writing the code(I have a few ideas on that one don't worry!) and putting an example up on his server do you think it would be possible to integrate it with AskGamblers after some testing? He's a web developer by trade and is always saying he wants to get into creating slots, so this would be a nice project for him I think! Anybody who would be interested in being part of the testing please add a post here and I'll PM everybody once I have something to show you all. I'm excited !!

x100 if the scatter is on the first reel and so you receive NOTHING. Sure it's been said before but a huge personal hate of mine is when the scatters pay absolutely nothing, makes me want to cry when I get four or five especially if there's no additional free spins or other reward for hitting more than three!
-
I do like to just spin the reels to begin with when I try a new game, it's nice to be surprised to begin with but once I've got familiar with a game I'll often consult the paytable to help decide if I want to carry on playing past those first couple of hundred spins. If I haven't seen the feature yet for example I'll be looking too see if I feel it's worth keeping on spinning or if I just want to walk away and try a different game instead. I don't bother with instruction manuals for pretty much anything else in the world though, unless I absolutely have to!

A new liquid drum and bass mix I found on youtube - I love being able to find music so easily on-line, you never run out of new things to listen to! Can anybody tell me how to include the player here in the page as others have done above? -
Hey Marathon, I think you will quickly find that slots are much more fun on-line than blackjack and roulette, but I do really enjoy playing those games in my local casino. Forget about trying to find any kind of strategies though - the games are completely random and there is no way to influence the outcome of a spin, all you can do is start the reels and hope for the best! About your Piggy Riches win, did you mean you played 10 spins or 100? I'm sure you couldn't have won just 1.40 from 100 spins but your post wasn't completely clear. Piggy Riches isn't a bad game, much better than Starburst and more generous in my experience than Gonzos Quest but there are plenty of better games around that you should try - have you heard of Dead or Alive ? Which casino are you playing at? I'd be happy to give a few suggestions if you would like

Hi there Awena! I'm pleased to report that the problem does seem to be resolved now, I am using a different machine now but the browser is the same so I think it's still a fair test. I hope I have been helpful edit: Sorry I didn't see your post earlier cocopop but there wasn't anything to take a screenshot of to be honest, the button simply did not function. When I press it now I get a popup at the top of the screen confirming that the report has been received.

Whoa, five scatters on DoA at 2.70, that's the kind of hit I've only seen in my dreams! Almost all of my five scatters have been at 0.09 The one time I got it at 0.90 I think my boyfriend thought I was being attacked I made that much noise!!- 3526 replies

I stopped bothering with the bonus bet, several times I got to the wheel after activating it and it contained lower prizes than I'd seen the past few times playing without it! I'd love to hear from anybody who thinks the bonus bet is worth it and why?

EDITED: Casumo - Constant software glitches
raverbabe replied to Vinny1105's topic in Best and Worst
If only casinos were willing to pay us to review them, I know I would be willing to sign up! But I would never promise a Good review for money, only an honest one, and any casino that needs to pay for a review probably won't like what I have to say about them - the good guys can rely on the quality of their service already. -
Hey, just a heads up I accidentally posted a review just now on "Mega Moolah" rather than "Mega Moolah Isis" when I rebooted after a crash and I tried to use the report function to let you know however the Submit option is not functioning for me, after I choose "Other" and enter my reason only the cancel button has a link attached and the other option does nothing. This machine is Windows XP running Opera Chromium 36.0, and there is an error in the javascript console when I click on "Report" showing: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'message' of undefined I hope that helps to get it fixed, please let me know if you require any further details.
