What's your favorite Microgaming 243 ways-to-win video slot and why?
ValDes replied to ValDes's topic in Your favorite...
Cool! Right now, I'm chasing the 1000 reward for turning the whole Immortal Romance' payout table into gold and only a few still left to conquer. The bad news is that these are the hardest - 5 scatters and 5 wilds! I would gladly wait to see news from you regarding the new Gaming Achievements improvements once they are set in place. And it would probably be a good idea to start a brand new thread, dedicated especially to this, since I'm totally convinced it would be very interesting for most of our members, or at least for the Microgaming's fans!- 74 replies

Speaking about it, I think Bet-at.eu's decision to start the Gaming Achievements campaign is simply awesome and it really rocks! It was about time for someone to throw the glove and to challenge the thousands of TSII and IR's fans!- 74 replies

Ahmm, sorry but there's no need to use sharp tongue to keep anything, including but not limited to my "authority". I'm always one and the same my dear Luciana - strict, but fair...and awesome on top of it, of course. But I simply do not like when someone (like the aforementioned guy/girl for example) is not the person, who he'she is pretending to be and is trying to act in a way, I would describe as "not quite sincere". By the way, it seems that I was right after all, our beloved Luckenvolved is long gone, almost right after his post here, in this topic.

Horrible softwaredowngrade by a few Playtechpowered casinos
ValDes replied to Toiletseat's topic in Casinos General
Sorry Seat I'm not the biggest fan of table games and cannot help you much with this. But it seems weird indeed, all these upgrades and downgrades, having in mind that Playtech actually is quite a serious software provider, right?! Hope it was only some software bug and not something else... -
Yep, graphics indeed. Don't forget that the Microgaming download version contains over 500 different games, some of which are almost a decade old. While some of their new releases, like the aforementioned 243 ways-to-win series are really good enough in terms of graphics...and sound...and music...and theme...

Of course, they know everything regarding the process of calculating and achieving the pre-defined value of the notorious RTP for all online operators, who put their seal at the bottom of their webpages. And of course they won't tell you nothing, there are so many excuses which might be used, starting from "commercial secret" and ending with "internal information". But that's not the point after all. The point is what the ordinary online gambler would understand from the published RTP value in an online casino, he had just joined. Let's take for example a single Microgaming powered casino, most of them have this eCOGRA seal on the webpage's bottom. Click on the seal and what you get is a pdf or a popup window, where you'll see the latest RTP stats for the casino in question. That's cool, no doubt about it, but let me ask you something. Have you ever come across a casino, where you could possibly find how actually are being calculated these RTP stats? That's why I said this

I'm not surpised at all, that's Redbet we are talking about after all! They are known from quite a long time to be one of the few online operatots left, who would sometimes 'close their eyes' for a sec when necessary and not ruining the whole joy of winning. By the way, this is probably the main reason why people always return to their casinos every now and then, including me!

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but isn't it the main aim of all businesses to bring a profit to its owners?! And why online gambling should differ in some way? You know, I have my own theory of how to become a successful online gambler. It's very simple and if you read my first guide, posted at AskGamblers (How to choose an online casino safely?) you would probably notice it right away. This is just a small part of the guide's introduction: Now, if we add this sentence EVERYTHING IN GAMBLE IS A MATTER OF SELF CONTROL, used by one of our members (SlotoHolic, we really missed you! ), there you go, the perfect recipe for a successful online gambler. Back to your last post, I would like to remind you that most of the biggest players in the field of online gambling, such as Ladbrokes, 32Red plc, Paddy Power, Playtech, IGT and William Hill to name a few, are listed from years on the stock exchange markets, which basically means they are transperant and honest, just as every other single business, listed there should be! Now, if you insist that the world of online gambling should be even more transperant, the players should get much more cricial info, such as the real and undisputed way of forming the notorious RTP value for example, I'm totally behind you and you have my full support, since I'm also absolutely convinced there's much to be done yet to be improved the overall transperancy and so on.

Show time - let's see your winner screenshots!
ValDes replied to ValDes's topic in Share your Winner Screenshots
Absolutely, this great win came from 5 scatters at only 0,09 bet per spin. Yep, I had them once, a few years ago! Came from the second spin, can you believe that?! I was just sitting and staring at the monitor, unable to realize it for almost a whole minute! DOA is one of my all time favorite slots and has a special place in my gambling heart. I had some awesome hits, while playing this game and it still seems to be quite generous with me.- 9653 replies

Actually they are not making millions, but Billions, with a big B in front of it! You have described it perfectly, I admit that - "You can win but you will probably lose"! Now, please forget all the conspiracy theories for a moment and just try to answer yourself one very simple question honestly, ok? Did you know that in the time when started to gamble online? Did you know that "You can win but you will probably lose"?

Hi Erik. Actually your question is quite an interesting one, but very difficult to answer in the same time. It is also quite complicated as there are so many different aspects of this matter, but I'll try to "shed some light" on it. So, free play vs real play...First of all, it's vital to know what is the reason for this 'free play' (or 'practise play', or whatever other variation you might come upon is a casino) to exist. The main reason is to give the ability to all potential and existing customers to try and practise a bit the casino software for free, before starting to play with real funds. Now, the next logical question would be "Ok, but is there any difference between the free play software and the real one?", as if there's such a difference, then it means all practise would be completely useless. Why useless? Because, if there's some difference, then it would probably be in the pre-defined RTP value and trust me, there's a huge distinction in the results and outcome, generated by a RTP values, even when they differ only by a percent or two. So, here we go to the point, where it is obvious that there shouldn't be ANY difference between the free play and real play, offered by any online casino operator, because the opposite would mean that the casino is trying to deceive players with free play, set to pay much better than the real one! That's why if you ask an online casino "Hey, I want to know if there's any difference between your free play and real mode" you will not find even a single one, which would give you a positive answer. And frankly, I'm inclined to trust most of them or at least to the bigest ones, such as Microgaming, Playtech and NetEnt, because as far as I know none of them would allow or give the ability to any online casino, powered by the relevant software, to change or manipulate the RTP value on its own. Or at least, this is what all these software vendors claim to. Now, as you are mostly speaking about RTG powered casinos, well, I have to say I'm almost 100% sure that most of them are trying to meet the high standards, set by the aforementioned software suppliers and they do all the best within their powers! It's crucial to say that most of what we ( I mean online gamblers) know about online gambling industry, comes from many different sources, but unfortunately, only a tiny fraction of it belongs to the official vendors, suppliers and online operators! And that's pity, right?! Cause it basically means that right now we are just ranting and specualting!
