I did this, but thankfully the casino (Wolfy Casino) prevented the spin from going through (the fact that many casinos don't prevent you from accidentally going over the max allowed is predatory IMO) On Pragmatic's Hyperplay, I have a habit of clicking and pressing space immediately after. I accidentally clicked near the right-most of the stake bar and by habit pressed space after, this would've been an over $20 spin. Has anyone done this, were you prevented from doing this or did the casino have a-hole design, leaving you screwed out of a bonus?

Betting as in sports betting? Thought Pinnacle doesn't do sports bonuses (most reduced juice books don't). I'd love to see what the bonus you're saying that you were denied was. Or are you talking about the casino. They didn't have a casino in the beginning, not for ~6 years after their inception (at least according to wiki). Please give us more details about the bonus!

Since I started this topic I got zero-paying bonuses several more times. Way more common than I thought... interesting design decision by the slot makers! The existence of bonus buys could be a reason for it: if bonus buys didn't exist, the slot could easily just not give a bonus if the spin was not going to pay (though I'm curious if bad paying bonuses make players play more, not wanting to end a session or leave a slot on a nothing bonus. Slot providers probably know what they're doing).

Some of them block any game that has 'jackpots' (not true jackpots, just what the game calls their fixed prizes, usually in "3 pots" style games) when wagering bonus...

If there is sports betting available and the odds aren't absolutely horrendous, most of it will stay in. Maybe withdraw a hundred or two. If it's just for the casino (a sportsbook is absent or they have horrendous odds), withdraw most of it, like 80-90%. I've noticed some casinos have in there terms you're not allowed to go from high volatility to low volatility slots after a big win when wagering a bonus (jeez).
