cocopop3011
Hey guys So, I know for a lot of you Skrill is restricted but, for those of you who do use it did you know they are launching a new points program next month? Now, I am not 100% sure it will count for gambling transactions but basically every time you use your Skrill account to spend money you get points. 1 Point for every £1 I believe and then you can exchange these points for wallet credit. If it does count for gambling deposits, then people could earn a decent amount of points. I don't use Skrill for gambling at all but thougt it may be of use to some of you here. They do have a Beta Version you can join too. Also - Skrill are no longer supporting GBP either so accounts will be converted into EUR but they won't be charging any conversion fees. copyyy
Interesting to see, was using SKRILL quite a lot until they started declining my deposits but got it fixed somehow, the worst thing about SKRILL is that I withdrew today around 276 from a casino and received only 263 euros as my currency is RSD and they are honestly ripping people off quite much with that conversion fees, glad to see at least they are implementing some type of reward system, tried to find that Beta version you mentioned but cannot find anything about it on their news page. cocopop3011
ValDes
Thanks for sharing Sharon Seems like the loyalty scheme will be available to customers from certain countries only, I got their email too about removing USD, GBP and PLN currencies and the no-fee EUR conversions but not a word about any loyalty points, etc. Anyway, that 'new' loyalty scheme is actually the good, old Neteller scheme. cocopop3011 and copyyy
cocopop3011
Yeah I gathered it would probably be related to certain countries only @copyyy I would imagine this is why you don't see the option to join in your account. copyyy
pinnit2015
I personally stopped using web wallets a while ago for 2 reasons: A The fees are a racket and B The rather arbitrary way in which their security checks are done, essentially holding cash to ransom until they conduct whatever it is they do. Coupled with some of the worse customer service I've ever experienced. Oh and C - if they go bust you don't have any protection. Maybe useful if you either wish to keep gambling transactions off your bank a/c (even that's not great as banks will ask why are you forking out cash to Skrill)or if in certain countries, but honestly see little benefit if you're in the UK for example: particularly with Trustly growing. Still haven't used Trustly yet, since my issues with Skrill a few years ago I am very wary with any e-wallet, even PayPal.

Trustly's excellent - faster and cheaper AND in the one occasion i did have an issue, they responded and actioned it within 24 hours. Quite a good ticketing system for raising disputes/issues which is handy, should you need it. Paypal was worse than Skrill for me - i'd 2k or so held for 28 plus days, for absolutely no reason that i could discern. cocopop3011
copyyy
Skrill "Loyalty Points" that they call Knect is out already and I'm using it for a month. It's not even worth thinking about it as you need 10000points to claim 10EUR. For every €1* you transfer to a merchant you’ll earn 0.25 points. *currency equivalent For every €1* worth of cryptocurrency sent to another Skrill user, you’ll earn 0.5 points *currency equivalent You'll have to be a millionaire or some company that sends money every day, to claim some reasonable prize. Guess its fine to have 1.5$ fee when sending money to people or buying something from sites that aren't related to gambling, or take a huge fee when exchanging EUR to RSD or any other currency I suppose. Which by the way you have to do as they allow you to use one Currency if you are not a VIP member. Those people probably gave them that idea lol, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2zQ5j3T0v0I

I'm sure their Beta version was 1 point for every £1 which is obviously way more generous and appealing,
Blackjax
I dont know if this is the right topic to post but still I will go ahead. Has Skrill stopped charging withdrawal fee on bank withdrawal? I decided to withdraw some funds and the withdrawal fee was 0. Last time I withdrew a small amount to bank and they charged around $6. This time it was free.
