funfun1
Hi, I have received an offer for refund from a casino due to responsible gambling issue. They said they forwarded it onto the payment team to process I went on the live chat today to check and they said that the decision on the refund actually hasn't been made yet... If i have an email offering a refund, can they change their mind? Ethan1575
pinnit2015
Depends if there was offer and acceptance to create a contract...possibly so but there was a case a few years ago whereby a website posted incorrect prices on their site, people bought it and the company said they wouldn’t honour it so I’m not sure legally...you’d need a consumer rights expert for that :-) What I’d do is focus on why they agreed to it and push it that way. Obviously, unless it’s been some dozy intern who approved it, they deemed you to have a case. Maybe they’re changing their arm in the hope of you just accepting it. The fact they agreed to it may indicate that they acknowledge some form of RG fault so try approaching it that way Ethan1575
pinnit2015
PS it’s live chat...don’t listen to what they say. PPS is this from the Leo Vegas Group, Royal Panda per chance?

Thanks for your reply. I have again been on the live chat and this time they said the refund HAS been agreed so it sounds like the other guy actually got it wrong telling me there was a mistake. Yes it is royal panda. Should I be worried?

Should I be worried? I thought it was, as it sounded familiar... - heard a few cases exactly like that where the refund was agreed and Live Support said it still had to be. I wouldn't worry - it'll be with you in a few days...they'll probably ask you for bank details or back to last card, if they haven't already. Like i said, i tend to ignore live chat
funfun1
Thanks, this puts my mind at rest. Yeh they have asked for all of that and I am fully verified. Apparently they are just waiting for a manager to sign it off in the payment team. I’ll keep you posted on the progress pinnit2015
Katie_Isaacson
I hope they will make a refund after all. If you’re dealing with a casino that cares about responsible gambling policy, everything should be okay. And from now on, don't bet more than you can afford to lose. Im not sure this one has to do anything with betting more than you can afford. As royal panda was recently...ish bought by LV group, there have been cases where people who are SE at LV could still play at royal panda (but obviously couldnt cashout because of LV group shared SE). If thats the case here im sure OP will get his refund soon.
