How much do you deposit on the first time at a new casino

Recommended Posts

For me, it's very simple...the minimum deposit required to claim the welcome bonus...be it $20, 20 EUR or even $25 at one particular casino. If I don't want to claim their welcome bonus, then it may be just $10 or 10 EUR. Heeey...I'm no high roller...and I certainly cannot afford bigger deposits!  :p

In the past when Deposit and Bonus were stuck together I was always a bit cautious - lumping 500 on with a deposit match of 100% plus meant that in all likelihood you'd never see a withdrawal.

Depends on the offer - at 100% i'd probably go on average 100 and then just do 2 quid bets to see what happens.

Don't tend to sign up to new places anymore - I've 3 who get 95% of my deposits in the year, no room for more  -_-

I only sign up at new casinos if they have my favorite games, nice welcome bonuses, fast cashout and decent bonus terms, that last one is I guess a number one problem most players have/will have, I just can not say it enough but they can be tricky sometimes, not reading the terms is like taking a dive in an empty swimming pool blindfolded, surprisingly hurtful. I'd prefer to stick with my own favorite casinos but if I sign up at a new casino, just like Afi, I'd spend no more than €20 and claim the welcome bonus hoping to get lucky. The bigger the bonus the larger the wagering amount.

As a rule it's £20, sometimes if my budget is stretched or depending on wagering it could even be £10. That's pretty much been my rule since I started playing with a very few excpetions of £50. Never deposited anything more than £50 in one go.

Generally, low-rollers like myself, Cocopop, Leo and many others, we stick to the minimum deposit required, which is usually 10-20 $/EUR/GBP.

Medium-rollers (some of our members here - you know who you are), usually deposit 100-500 $/EUR/GBP.

High-rollers...well these are the rich guys/ladies, who seldom deposit less than 1000 $/EUR/GBP at a time.

Aaah...how nice if I can deposit $1000 at a time, without ever worrying about my wallet going dry...

but then again...I'd probably become a gambling addict in no time at all!  :p

Well for me it's always £20 weather it's a new casino or not even if that means having to despoit £20 multiple times per session.

Like Afi I'm not a high roller the way I see it I can despoit my first £20 play all day and still cash out why waste money unnecessary.

Plus the face the KGB can monitor what I'm spending

To be honest I've never been able to afford more than £20 a time, the times I did deposit £50 was when I was more flush with my winnings but that soon came to ane end.

But yeah I really don't see why I'd ever need nor want to deposit more. I won't even deposit £20 multiple times per session once it's gone it's gone for at least a week now.

I understand the first time deposit will be a confusion for all the online casino players here, by sharing my own gameplay experiences. For the first time deposit i will look on the casino promotion first. For the first scenario, let say if i found there is any specific promotion example like setting up a deposit target to trigger a topup free bonus then i might add on a little more credit to hit the target in order to trigger the promotion free bonus. Some certain platform might provide mobile top up discount to encourage more mobile user to join the casino games. So you might try for that way if you are interested to earn more bonus while topping up your online account.

For the second scenario, let's say if there is no free bonus promotion then i might just top up for a hundred to test my luck on that casino games. I will only top up for more if i see there is a chance for me to win more, top up wisely is a very important point and you must  make sure that you are able to control yourself, make sure you don too addictive to spend on the specific online casino or else you might lose all your money within a sec.

Besides the first time deposit, i might ask you to consider about this. Only topup for certain casino that with high authority. Authority Casino like Livemobile88 or Ali88win will be the example that i suggest you to refer on. You can check a casino's authority in different ways, survey casino player's feedback is one of the useful tools here. Or you can also refer on their topup's testimonial like just to make sure that there are actual casino players who willing to topup on that casino platform.

Hope my suggestion might help you here.

  • 5 months later...

My first deposit was pretty small. And since then I prefer to start with small bets and gradually raise them. But I'm not a high roller :) For me, it's better balancing between 10-25 and 50-100 dollars, and not risking as there is always a possibility to lose everything you have.

This is my first post! Just wanted to say thanks on the input on depositing! I’ve played at different casinos for a few years now ! Only one, what I call big win for me and I was happy with that! Thanks again everyone!

Well then, hello and welcome to AskGamblers. :)

Feel free to introduce yourself accordingly though, would be our pleasure. ;)
