Coldy070
Hi everyone, Yesterday I've made a deposit on a online casino (I'm not going to name the site for now). I've deposited 20 euro and recieved a 100% match bonus. I won big on Planet of the Apes and continued my streak on Jungle Spirit. I had ~300 euro and was at 90% of my wagering. I made the mistake here to play Reel Rush for ~50 spins, and lost around 30 euro on that game. Played some Gonzo's Quest till 100% wagering and cashed out a total of 338 euro. Today i've recieved a e-mail from that casino that my bonus has been voided because i've played on one of their 'restricted games'; Reel Rush. They've taken my entire bonus but i only played 4% of my wagering on that game, and it was a honest mistake, i would've never played if i knew it was restricted. In the bonus terms it says: While playing with a match bonus the following games will be restricted: - from NetEnt Blood Suckers™, Devil's Delight™, Jack Hammer™, Jack Hammer 2™, Jack Hammer 2: Fishy Business™, Jackpot 6000™, Kings of Chicago™, Lucky Angler™, Mega Joker™, Muse: Wild Inspiration™, Reel Rush™, Simsalabimm™, Steam Tower™, and Victorious™. They make it seem like you can't play on the game, but i didn't even recieve a error message that it is restricted. What can i do? I am sorry to be the barrier of bad news here - But there is nothing you can do and you do not have a case. The bonus terms are clear and you breached it. Best thing you can do is move on, learn your lesson and make sure you go through terms and conditions next time whenever you decide to play with another bonus. All the best and good luck with future. cocopop3011 and ValDes
LeoDubbed
I am afraid you don't have a case here since you actually broke the bonus terms. Sorry about this mate but many players broken the bonus terms and end up with only deposit money in their account or worse, nothing in their account. Some casinos have bonus money block feature but unfortunately some also don't. Be careful next time ValDes
Coldy070
But it's 4% wagering. Why won't they just let me wagering that again? Or even more? There are so many other solutions to this problem It also stated the game is 'restricted', but you can interpret that in many ways. I understand what you mean Game is restricted - Think of it, whatever way you want - The casinos needs to stand by their rules because they need to be making money as well. The only time they will sometimes reconsider giving your funds back is when the Max Bet rule was accidentally breached by pressing the max bet button. But for now - Please move on, you will just be wasting your time arguing here friend... Rather play at the casino with straight cash and break the bank fair and square. LeoDubbed
Indeed, the sooner you accept your loss the better. I'm really sorry this happened to you but bonus terms mate, they are our worst enemy and casino's best friend. Keep your head up and chase another big win, without bonus
Coldy070
I did break the bank fair and square, since i only lost money on Reel Rush. I'm not letting it go, i will take this higher up and file a lawsuit. Their solution is unacceptable.

LeoDubbed
We'll see. Fraudulent casino's need to get a spotlight anyways, to warn other people That's not fraudulent behaviour, you cannot accuse a casino of something simply because you didn't read their rules. cocopop3011 and ValDes

I'm afraid Leo is right, it'll get you no-where and all it will do is waste you time and money I would imagine getting you the lawsuit. You have broke the terms regardless of whether it was 4% or 1% those games are restricted full stop and no solicitor will be able to change that rule for you. cocopop3011
We'll see. Fraudulent casino's need to get a spotlight anyways, to warn other people Please consider this a warning you are on the verge of having this topic locked. You blatantly broke the casinos terms the proof is in your very first post! There is absolutely nothing fraudulent about this. The casino doesn't have to give you a warning message telling you because you tick a box to say you have read the terms and understood them! I personally don't see how the word restricted could be interpreted in any other way and if you was unsure what they meant by the term then you should have contacted the casino before playing it. Coldy070
It amazes me how you can defend the behaviour of this casino. Sure i broke their terms, did they give me a fair penalty? Absolutely not. Fiekie247

Coldy...that is not what Askgamblers do. In fact, Askgamblers seek to help out gamblers with their various problems with casinos. What the others have said (above) is actually based on what has already happened and discussed here on numerous other occasions before your case, and such players were unfortunate enough to lose all their winnings just for breaching one simple casino rule. To casinos, a rule is a rule. If you break it, you lose out, no exceptions. However, there have been a few exceptional cases whereby the casino gave some leniency to the unfortunate players and refunded their deposited amount, but all other winnings were nonetheless confiscated. The best you can do now is to ask for leniency from the casino to refund back your deposit amount, if they haven't already done so. As for the winnings, there isn't any hope in getting them back I'm afraid. If you doubt any of what has been said, then you can spend time browsing through the various topics here in this forum - from playing restricted games with bonuses, to placing bets bigger than the allowed maximum bet, and on many other incidences that broke the casino's rules. LeoDubbed
I believe they didn't confiscate his deposit money, only his entire bonus money. We are not defending the casino, whether you find it fair or not but by not reading the terms and broke them, you just gave them one reason not to pay. Online casino world is hard and we have been there too and we all know how unfair it feels but you really have to.... Come on mate, don't make it harder that it is. cocopop3011
Exactly boys! We are not "defending" the casino we are merely stating the facts here. I'm not being funny what kind of penalty did you expect for breaking their terms? They have to treat you as they would every other member who breaks their terms in this circumstance otherwise what is the point in them having these terms in place? To be honest I really don't see what amazes you so much. You have already been given advise from 3 very experienced players I suggest you take that advice and learn from it. Absolutely not. If you feel that we defend casinos and do not help players, then what are you doing here? As Coco said - Stop throwing useless and incorrect accusations at us as well as the casino... Or you will take a permanent vacation from here. Do you really want to file a law suit for a mere $300? I am pretty sure you will suffer a lost n the end, even though you win this matter(Which I doubt). Now with that said - You have been given advise by our respected forum members - We have been "Eloquent" (Beginning to sound a little like Valdes there ) enough in the nicest way possible. - You have been warned. Now you will decide your fate on this lovely forum going forward and .... This topic is not up for further discussion!!! End of story... cocopop3011
Coldy070
What amazes me Cocop? Playing through a entire bonus wagering, winning money, playing on a game that is 'restricted' (altough i did have access to it), losing money on that slot, and them confescating all my winnings because i accidentally played on it. Them confescating my winnings is what amazes me, and what amazes me even more is that it's 'normal' around here that people tend to land in these situations and nobody is doing anything about it. My only conclusion to this is that you are a new player because any experienced player would understand why their winnings were confiscated and why you were still able to access the game. People land themselves in these situations because they don't read the terms and conditions and there is absolutely nothing we at AskGamblers can do about that. If a casino is doing wrong by a player we are the first to try and help that player. Unfortunately, on this particular occasion whether it be that you simply are just a new player or you simply didn't read the terms there is absolutely nothing we can do to help. You are free of course to take the matter into your own hands all I will say is that you have already been advised that this is only going to end in heartache for you. How you choose to proceed is up to you. I don't really see the need to discuss this matter any further.
volendam101
Dear Op, we know how you are feeling abt this, happend many of us. You have to play according to the tc.s of a casino or dont play there at all. Its 1 of 2 choices, there is no no 3. Good luck for the future. cocopop3011
pinnit2015
Just to play devils advocate (Sorry OP, no case unless you could argue it's unfair contract terms)...what confuses me is that these casino's have all these sophisticated anti fraud/money laundering back end systems that cross reference/ identify irregular patterns and perform crazy algorithms etc BUT...they don't have anything (well, some do) as a rule of thumb that says 'can't use bonus money on this game' Just saying, how odd SuperShell64
