Marvel - Playtech Slots

Does anyone know what's the situation between Marvel and Playtech? Their partnership will be dissolved? What happens in a situation like this one? Will all the Marvel-Playtech slots be pulled from the casinos?

As far as i know Age of Gods slots series are replacing Marvel slots.

So Marvel have been bought by Disney and this is the reason Playtech will be losing them? I actually had no idea this was happening, but it does make sense I suppose since Disney is a children's brand. I'm assuming this is the reason?

Effectively Age of Gods series have been created to replace Marvel slots that will be removed from Playtech casinos the very last day of 2016. It seems nothing will change this Disney decision. 

 

Every slot belonging to Age of Gods series has the same features than any Marvel one, however, it seems all of us will miss those great super heroes a lot.

Hello there and welcome to AskGamblers. 

 

Not 100% sure, but as far as I remember Playtech's partnership with Marvel has already finished and all Marvel video slots will be removed from the Playtech casino games section till December 31st, 2016. Sorry to be the bad messenger here.  

 

Hope that our 'Playtech Master' Afi4wins will jump in with more info anytime soon.

Thank you all for your feedback. There's a lack of endearing themes out there and this retirement on the part of Marvel will leave a huge void. I always loved the Marvel-Playtech team. This partnership resulted in a series of fantastic slots that were both content and feature rich. The solid  and attractive themes with some history behind them will be dearly missed.
