So, Valdes started the original Favourite Casino Software Thread back in 2012 and now, due to some requests, we have an updated version. So it's time to place your votes again guys.

Results of that thread were:

1st Place - Microgaming

Joint 2nd Place - NetEnt and Playtech

3rd Place - Real Time Gaming

A lot has changed since 2012 so here is the updated list. PICK YOUR TOP THREE If your favourite isn't in the list please select 'Others' and specify your answer in the post.

I'll get the ball rolling with the first vote - NetEnt. It's the software I always always turn to, it's the software I trust and love, their games are the ones I generally win more on. If I had to only play one software for the rest of my time - this is the one I'd have to pick. NextGen Gaming is an extremely close 2nd for me.

Sharon darling, I'm thinking...there's a lot of software providers now...

so perhaps we can choose 3 of them as to each individual's preference...

like NetEnt, Microgaming and Playtech for example...

and points can be given for easier rating calculation...like NetEnt 3pts, Microgaming 2pts and Playtech 1pt.

With 3 choices, players like me will not be stuck about which software to choose, and each software gets a fair share of players voting.

This, I think, would give:

  • New software providers a better chance at being in the top 3 list
  • Players get to choose their 3 top favourite providers, and less dependence on 'sentimentalism' (like on Microgaming, for example), where players cannot seem to let go of Microgaming even though they are playing more of NetEnt and other new game providers...FOR EXAMPLE!  :D
  • With the 1,2,& 3 points system, a more accurate rating and ranking can be achieved.

I wait for your decision on this before making my voting...  ;)

Hehehe...It's actually a great idea Afi.

I have amended the voting system so multiple choices can be picked. However it's not possible to limit it to 3 unfortunately. But I've edited the original post for members to pick their TOP THREE.

Members can then explain in their post (if they want to) their choices.

Is that more to your liking Afi?

[i've also updated my vote - I don't have a 3rd at the moment, will amend my vote when a 3rd place winner comes in for me]

NNNoooo!!!! Microgaming will be buried alive now!!!  :o

Travel back in time to abort everything!!!

I personally think Microgaming have given an extremely poor performance the last 2 years, very disappointing IMO. Too many clones not original ideas. I just hope this isn't the way NetEnt is going to go too.

Yep, I truly agree with our Sharon Cocopop darling here.

Microgaming has always been cloning their games year after year.

Same old games, same poor paytables, I'm getting sick over here...

Time for a change, time for Microgaming to be right at the rear!!!  <_<

Thanks for starting this one, guess the results will be way different than those achieved in the 2012 forum topic...

Cannot wait to see if there gonna be some surprise member in the Top 5 most favorite casino software...

Don't be so sure mate, don't be so sure... I've heard so many people 'burying' MG from years and yet, they are still alive and QuickFire is more successful than ever... :p

And so, time for Guru's pick right... :)

#1 would be NetEnt without any doubt, but mainly due to my beloved Dead Or Alive which takes almost 75% of my gameplay anyways.

#2 would be Microgaming, because of Immortal Romance, Break Da Bank Again, Thunderstruck I&II etc etc which are still quite often into my gaming menu

#3 surprisingly goes to Endorphina for reasons you will soon see at the winner screenshots topics ;)

Awesome choices Val! I actually couldn't predict yours I guessed NetEnt would be top but as for the other two I had no idea what you would pick. Look forward to seeing your screenies though  ;)

Hehehe...I would have picked NetEnt as my first choice too...

but my regular small wins on Safari Heat and Blade keeps Dead Or Alive in second place!

So it's STILL PLAYTECH first for me!  ^_^

To those who hasn't vote yet...we all have difference choices and preferences...so do tell us about yours!  :D

Fine.....NetEnt for 1st place because of Guns N Roses (the reels wilded up) then Microgaming as I am in need of some........"bedside manner" support! :D Nadia, Michelle, Luciana and Cocopop3011 please come forward

Hmmm...no Sophia, no Amber, no Bomber Girls, no Girls with Guns needed...ah Icy???  :p

I'll do Amber as she does her job 5 times, demolition expert Alex knows how to quickly melt the ice in Frozen Dawn, the red hot devilish chick for her burning passion, and any of the Senoritas in Pistoleras  ;)

Who's your 3rd though?

My third? It is Helena so don't tell, she's my Lucky Witch   ;)

The software of course will have to be Nextgen!

#1 NetEnt

#2 Microgaming

#3 Nextgen

No doubt NetEnt will be in the lead, they pull out famous well known bands and other creative slots in their works. One way the other platforms can win is if they produce a creativity of their own to wreck the competition, raise the bar that NetEnt has already set! Set it higher!

I can already imagine a casino war with all the existing brands trying to be #1 in the industry. The many slots production, the dilemmas, so much artistic work for the producers and mega times entertainment for the fans!

Thoughts below if this truly happened

Interesting idea to say the least... Perhaps a bit too warlike for my taste but still a curious one. With or without 'a war' the severe competition is out there and we all could feel it. :)
