RomenTob Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago A flashy new game is one thing, but keeping things running smoothly over time is another! With newer titles like Dollar Vault, I'm curious how developers maintain performance and fix issues after launch. What matters more to you — regular updates, reliable performance or responsive support? Quote
Afi4wins Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Where games are concerned, reliable performanceis always of prime importance to me. Regular or irregular updates are inevitable, and responsive support only matters when you need their assistance. Quote
loceff13 Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago I think its a shame we have seen upgrades to the likes of Dead or Alive, game feels like it lost everything special about it(even with the janky sound it used to have) Quote

I remember when Pragmatic sped up the turbo spins a couple of years ago, it felt like whole other games and was unbearable for a time. I've grown used to it by now though and can hardly imagine preferring the spins to play out slower. Another example is Netent's Narcos - an all time favourite of mine (even if it pays f* all, like 300x at best). This slot was all about the teases. You had the free spins tease with the car bomb and the respins tease where 2 Pablos would frequently land on the early reels and almost as frequently the 3rd would come in. Suddenly they removed all that slow spinning and in turn caused the slot to go from highly entertaining to simply unplayable. Quote
marius1978 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Come to think of it, the teases were likely removed due to some commission's "player protection" regulations but even playing those games in casinos where such rules would go out the window, these no-tease versions were the ones they had on offer. Flatzem888 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I see many pragmatic slots have added hyper play.. it's a hyper fast way to lose a balance without double scatter or triple scatter teases. Quote

I don't see the point in hyper play myself. I could never find joy in not watching how the spins play out, watching the symbols line up, the teases, and all. All it's good for, I think, is if you're in a rush to score a big win (say, in a multiplier contest - or as content for a youtube short). At least it halts once the bonus lands and lets you watch it play out if you so choose. Wasn't it Nolimit who introduced this a couple of years back? It was unheard of at the time, and still is imho. I really hope this isn't the future of playing the slots but it wouldn't surprise me if it was! Instant gratification and all. Quote
