AMA - I'm a Professional Sports Bettor

Recommended Posts

Since this is the Ask Gamblers forum I wanted to share and advise fellow members of the community with an AMA (Ask Me Anything). My name is Jon Price and I run SIT Picks aka Sports Information Traders. Within the last few years I have gone more public with my wagers and bets. Being featured in Yahoo! Finance, Forbes Magazine, Inc., Ante Up, Cardplayer, Gambling911.com, and well the list goes on and on. I let other Covers forum members know about my bet prior to the big game and got a couple of thanks for the big win. I placed over a million dollars in bets on the Mayweather Pac-man fight.

In September I correctly predicted during an interview with the Huffington Post that the Denver Broncos would win the super bowl and placed a big fat wager on the Kansas City Royals to win the World Series in 2015. I've had big highs and big lows but my stable psychological state, great analytical research, and that gut feeling has helped propel me to be one of the all time greats.

Today in my day to day I still wager on games and work on handicapping via my website you can see here. I developed a service to educate bettors about the long term outlook and to stop with all of these no good for nothing touts. I'm a black swan in a grey lake as I like to tell my peers. So ask away and I will be glad to share my knowledge with the community here.

That's all OK but I advise you to remove the links from your posts because advertising isn't allowed on the forum.

Nice work Mr. Price (no pun intended) and congratulation with your long list of interviews. I couldn't see your link but I believe you specialise on American sports and/or betting on favourites (just judging on the Mayweather Pac-man fight, coz i don't know who Broncos are) with big bets!

I used to handicap sports (mostly football) sometime back and had 65-69% winning rate for my pics and I felt that was good but not that great. So, it will be nice to hear the success rate of one of the greatest pickers.

My second question will be do you have an odd range that you specialise in or you prefer handicapping first, then comparing with the bookmakers and finally betting on those matches that you have the better hand?

Thank you Cooliovert I will ask the Mods to allow the links to be shared as that will answer a lot of questions about my research, staff, and discipline that is required to be a successful and profitable sports bettor. The two most important arsenal pieces in my artillery are: Gut Instinct & Delta. I formulate my own odds each and every week of the football season. When I see a big discrepancy I pounce on this.  Two weeks ago I went on national radio and gave everybody in the world a chance to see for themselves why I am the best and how accurately I can pinpoint inefficiencies in the marketplace. SMU was playing and the line was off. I called it and it move accordingly. Not only did SMU end up covering but they won outright and it was exactly how I predicted. I called this the famous Vegas Mistake. Clients of mine made thousands of dollars and I won't brag about my wager but you can hear the interviews and see the tweets from the Radio hosts who received my big play before the game went off. If you visit the sports information traders website you will be able to hear the interviews and see the tweets for yourself. These big picks can make or break a season for a lot of gamblers. I've never had a losing season and it's important to follow your rules and know when to place big wagers and when to reel it in. It's a long term approach towards profitability and one game should never make or break you. If you were able to win 65% then I commend that because very few in the world can do so.
