I am I missing something with the bonus spins? With re-load offers,  if the casino offer is deposit and play £10... get 10 spins free. Wouldnt it be better just to play 10 spins on a high RTP slot of your choice? That way youd never lose more than £1 (if you played at 10p a spin, which is what most bonuses give you). I do understand you could make money on playing the £10...but could also lose a lot too. I would hazard a guess that if you lost, say £3,on the £10 play through, it would be difficult to recoup that AND make a profit on the free spins given to you? What are your thoughts/experiences? @bnunu Deposit 10 GBP/EUR and get 10 free spins? Naaaah! I'll never take such offers! The minimum number of free spins I would take would be 20 - I'd take 10 free spins only if it was a no-deposit offer!

But that again, that also depends a lot on the casino and its reputation.

It's just a lure for nerds. I mostly only play with my deposit. All these deposit bonuses are irrelevant. Only 1 in 100 will clear the wagering requirement. Especially since most casinos don't play anymore, they're just binging. You don't even have time to enjoy the game before your deposit is gone. And you can't always clear the x1 bonus. This has been verified not only by me but by many players. So, if you play, only use your deposit.

Don't believe these words so easily; just play with your savings, it doesn't matter if you lose money. Almost no one completes the withdrawal conditions. You’re thinking about it the right way tbh. The bonus doesn’t really remove the risk, it just adds a bit of extra upside if things go your way. Most of the time it won’t make a big difference, but occasionally it can. So yeah, it’s not “better,” just a different kind of gamble.

I read an AskGamblers thread about casino bonuses big offers don’t matter much if wagering rules are strict. Same thing I see with Roobet and Bitcoin casinos.

Yeah, Roobet, BC.Game, and LeoVegas all have bonuses, but rollover requirements make a huge difference.

speaking of rollover requirements, theres some casinos with a 5x rollover on raw cash deposits!.. most casinos its 1x to 3x....

In addition, on the subject of rollover, some casinos (King Billy for instance) enforce an outragous rule that after you've deposited with a bonus and are done wagering it, you will then have to wager the deposited amount an additional 3 times.

It was said to be a bug but if so they never fixed it and I don't want to argue with them about it again. It happens when your deposit+bonus all goes into bonus balance, so the system simply won't count anything as 'real' wagering untill the bonus is completed.

That's such a stupid rule, and the website doesn't tell you your progress on that, does it?  The whole premise of 1x or 3x wagering on deposit is already fulfilled by bonus wagering.

No, not on the real money wagering it doesn't so I usually need to count how much the loyalty points have moved to keep track unless I'm using a spread sheet for my play

Yeah Leovegas is quite expensive to wager your bonus but the reward is wager free cash/spins. Leovegas it's worth entering the daily promotions/leaderboards if the slots supported suit you, if in a small country/playerbase for Leovegas the leaderboards can be won quite easily ie a 1500-2000x win is enough to win $200 for 1st in NZ most days.
