Ridiculous welcome bonus at lucky247

Recommended Posts

I had a chat to cs at lucky247 last night. they offered me a 100% welcome bonus up to 250 €...

minimum deposit amount would be 20. wagering 40x bonus...

now it comes: i heard some scary rumours and so i asked her about: max cashout...

she had to figure it out - had to read a lot ...

it is:

6 times amount of the initial deposit!

so imagine - you deposit there... 20 €...

you recieve a 100% bonus.

you manage to meet the wr...

you might have a balance of 6000 because you were lucky...

all you get is 120. the rest will be cancelled.

max cashout for a bonus below 500% is scrappy imo... still i know 1000% bonus offers where you have max cashout of 10x deposit - and no max bet rules...

:o  Whaaaaat? The max cashout is 6x that's absolutely ridiculous! And there are people taking this welcome bonus? Wow, that's shocked me I have to be honest. 6x it's actually laughable that they think this is a fair term! Even more laughable that people even accept it!

well... its hidden in the terms. i heard many microgaming casinos do it for the welcome bonus...

the cs girl had to look it up, also. seemed to be surprised.

imo this is completely unfair, surprising and mean on purpose...

Here's the aforementioned rule, I found it within the General Casino Terms&Conditions:

7.6. Limitations of withdrawals

For your own security you can only withdraw a maximum of 10,000 euro (or currency equivalent) during any 24 hours. All progressive wins are exempt from this clause.

Where a sign-up Bonus has been credited to you, and after meeting all wagering requirements, you will be limited to a maximum withdrawal value of 6 times your first deposit amount and any remaining balance will be forfeited. All progressive wins are exempt from this clause.

Players whose withdrawal is 5 times or more than their lifetime deposits across the Casino Group will only be able to withdraw their winnings at a sum of 4,000 Euro (or currency equivalent) per week. The remaining amount will be returned back in the player's account until eligible for a further withdrawal. This clause does not apply to progressive wins.

I could not agree that this particular term is being used by many Microgaming powered casino, however what I definitely agree with is that applying such term is beyond any common sense and would make any serious player run as fast as possible.

what i consider as extraordinary tasty and smelly: it is hidden in the general terms - not the bonus terms. the regular occasional player would spend more attention to bonus t &c - so he will be surprised, when he succeeded...

maybe the casino doesnt like winner players and if someone rarely wins there - he will get educated^^

This is one of the biggest mistakes made by many many online players... Let me explain it....

It is the General Terms and Conditions which are the most important ones when you play in an online casino. These terms usualy prevail when bonus terms are in a collision with the general terms. And last, but not least, it is again General T&Cs which you accept upon registering at the casino ;)

So, my advice is to be more careful next time when considering whether taking a bonus or not and do not forget to check both General and Promotional/Bonus terms to be sure you didn't miss a vital piece of information. ;)

well. ;-) i didnt take that bonus. ;-) i just was a bit mean to cs when she wanted to talk me into their lame 100% welcome offer and so i asked her. ;-)))

however i know: most people dont read t&c that carefully. therefore fair - not bandit-behavior would be to state that restriction in bonus terms. imo this castration of casino winnings - compared to the fact of extreme risk to bust while 40x wagering at slots - is immoral business. unfair exploiting and ripping off customers.

if i was asked i would advice anyone to avoid casinos acting that way in any case. who acts in such an obvious secret, unfair way - can only considered as a high risk business partner.

ripped by surprise. (recently read about someone who managed to win 36.000 aud - and was ripped off by one of those imo rogue places, cut down to 120 aud.

first time gambling. he got well introduced into the darkest part of onlinecasino industry.

a shame how offensive the cs promotes that "generous" junk-bonus.

Even though I completely agree to how absolutely ridiculous this bonus terms in the CS's defense it's their job to promote it. They probably don't see it as wrong!

the term is not only ridiculous. its extremely unfair. not at least a reasonnable chance-risk-relation.

i have noproblem with cs doing their job. its the management/owner/operator of those casinos who seem to have a really questionnable attitude imo.

A lot microgaming casino have this  bonus rulle hidden under welcome bonus.  If good remember then example Roxy Palace  and Spin Palace and few more have same rule .

I used to play a both Roxy and Spin and I never recalled the rule in place, in fact I know it wasn't as I withdrew more than 6x my deposit. However, I no longer play at either casino so it possible they too have this awful term

Spinpalace  - Bonus terms and conditions point 15 :

15. Where a Sign-Up Bonus has been granted to you, subject to you being required to have met all wagering requirements, you will be limited to a maximum withdrawal value of 6 times your first deposit amount and any remaining balance will be forfeited. This clause will only be applied at the discretion of casino management

About Roxy Palace they have same point some time ago but  now im see  is new owner  " Roxy Palace is operated by 32Red Plc of 741 Europort Gibraltar."

So as 32 Red is good brand probably this rule no longer appiled.

  • 2 weeks later...

After you meet the requirements, you are. Allowed to withdraw $60. If you have $25 million in winnings from a $10 bonus, they will take everything and only give you six times your deposit

Oh my god! That's just awful, why would you ever take the bonus!

I've just checked our bonuses to see if it states a max cashout and it doesn't. However I can't check the terms and as this casinos is restricted for the UK
