MacdoniS
Hello buddies! Nice to see you again! Can you please take some of little time to entertain me?Okay, i don't want to divert my story i will share the important details and what i want to say and i will just direct it to the point. These few weeks i have been feel that there's something wrong in me, i can't even explain it and why it's happening. So i didn't mind it and continue my daily routine my everyday business but as i ignore it i noticed that what's inside me continue to devour not only my internal self but also external feelings what i mean i always experienced loneliness that affects my relationship to other people and other negative types of feelings that will surely one thinks that the whole world owes you or you're always alone even you know that you have trustworthy friends. So i tried to consult Psychiatrist about my condition and she said that it's a mild depression. I was so shocked about what she diagnosed and i can't believe the fact that iv'e suffering from this type of invisible enemy! She said that medicine will help but the true cure is myself medicine will just aid my condition. She also added that experience of others will help me to fight depression it's just realizing that you're not alone and everyone suffered from pain and agony. Actually it was started when i had a family problem my wife leaved me and it's just because we misinterpret each other but i moved on and i think were started to cool down and we're just fine today but she's far away you know 'parents'. Anyway thats it, i just want to thank you from reading this and giving your time and effort i will be glad if you will share some of your stories cause it's meaningful to me.You can ignore grammatical errors. Just kidding.

Awena
Good morning MacdoniS and this is so brave . Two years ago started the worse period of my life and ended recently and it was caused by personal problems. It was true nightmare but it is over now. I would gladly share my experience but via PM if that is ok with you. Be strong! MacdoniS

ValDes
This is where I 'heal' my 'soul wounds'... A couple of days deep into the mountain forests always remind me how insignificant our worries are... Take a short vacation, pick up your best friend, go somewhere outside, mountains, seashore, no matter where but outside your regular area and feel the nature. You will be surprised how powerful the nature could be when it comes to healing. blondie, MacdoniS and Afi4wins

Raptordinos
Hi mate, I just can say all of us, have been such kind of times, but it is normal in human beings and I think you can improve feelings doing things you enjoy a lot, like listen to music, playing some kind of sport and so on, and it is also important to choose good stuff to put into your mind, positive things, your neurons will behave as you teach them; and remeber depression can also became addictive, just take care. Zabier
Hi MacdoniS, I know a few of my family and friends that have suffered from depression of varying degrees. It's a horrible condition. I think the one thing people get confused with is the fact that depression isn't just black and white. There are different types and severeities of it. The important thing is to try and not shut everyone out. That's easier said than done. I also don't really think medication can help depression. Not from what I've seen anyway. It might address the symptoms short term but does not help long term. From my experience, exercising as much as you can, eating healthily, socializing, and remaining positive is the best treatment but there's no easy remedy. You've been extremely brave to come on here and talk about it. That will go a long way to helping you.
Afi4wins
Talk about DEPRESSION...and no one else know it better than me...I think! Don't be...I'm here...I'm alive...and cheerful as ever...despite everything that I have gone through! Nothing heals better than your OWN DETERMINATION to get better! Now...this I know for a fact....many times over! Don't worry or think too much about your MILD depression...think about all those WILD vacations, dreams and imaginations! Life cannot be better! Luciana
Ohhhh so sorry MacdoniS, but you'll get over it! I can't imagine how that awful feeling of emptiness is alike. And I don't have a proper advice, but I hope we all here can help somehow. Maybe to really entertain you, as you said? Do you know at the moment, what would make you happy and fix your mood? @Afi - Nobody knows depression better than you? This seems like a paradox. I think that people suffering from depression have too many feelings and are over-emotional... Good souls one word! MacdoniS
Afi4wins
@Afi - Nobody knows depression better than you? This seems like a paradox. I think that people suffering from depression have too many feelings and are over-emotional... Good souls one word! Coming from my own mouth, and knowing my cheerful nature...it certainly seems like a paradox doesn't it? But the things that I have suffered, endured and gone through can be quite unbelievable... Just like in the movie The Ghost Rider...I came back from the dead...and continued to live on... Not literally of course...cos I'm still Afi...not a zombie! But people who have gone through the extremes of life tend to gain outstanding qualities! They tend to look at life and life events differently than how others do. They can see and understand why things happened the way they did...and accept that there can be no other way out of it. They learned to forgive and forget all miseries in life...whilst retaining all sweet loving memories. They become kind, humble and down-to-life citizens...very rich in wisdom, but hardly rich in wealth. Luciana and MacdoniS

They say life is UNFAIR but from what i see you're more brave than me and that's inspiring cause you overcome it all! Thank you for your wise words i will question it cause you already experienced it. It's easy to say that "you can do it" if you really don't experience it. As Carl Bard said "Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending." Let's make our life full of happiness! Thank you mate! I think depression can touch anyone not only the "emotional" one. There is some types of characteristics which determine depression feelings only one is needed is 'bad type' of personality. raverbabe
May I make a suggestion? Having suffered bouts of depression myself over the years and refused the 'help' (read, medication) of many doctors, I found that a combination of 5HTP and St. John's Wort made a vast improvement to my condition. (both of these substances are natural and can be bought online or in most health food shops although avoid Holland & Barret as they are complete rip off merchants!!) IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are female and taking the contraceptive pill then please DO NOT try this because St. Johns Wort interferes with the Pill, effectively stopping it from working. This is my official disclaimer ;-) Oh and although I 'liked' the comment above about MDMA - this is also a bad idea because what goes up, must come down.
