ACrowLeftOfTheMurder
Hi everyone, Firstly, I'm a bit of a 'terms geek' and never play at a casino before checking their terms and asking cs to clarify bonus terms. I know many of you like Adrenaline casino, and because you all speak highly of them, this led me to sign up and try them out. Now I don't want to upset anyone, and I'm definitely not saying the casino is bad or should be avoided, but whilst I was checking out the site, I discovered a term that I didn't like and thought everyone should be warned about. The reason for this is because it is a highly unusual term, and if you aren't aware of it, even experienced players could be caught out by it and have their winnings confiscated. The term refers to playing with any bonus. Whilst a bonus is active you cannot bet more than 25% of the bonus amount, and no higher than $7.50 per bet placed. This term is fine, and not unusual at all, however the key word is 'active'. After chatting with cs, I discovered that a bonus remains active even after you have completed the wagering, and this is where players could be caught out. A bonus only becomes inactive once all funds have been withdrawn after completing wagering attached to the bonus. So if you are like me please be careful. Many times if I have some nice wins and get my balance up to $1,000 or more, I often like to try my luck with a few spins at $10 or more. If you do this at Adrenaline thinking you can because you already completed wagering, then you are wrong and will have all your winnings confiscated. Please be aware of this, as I have never played at a casino where the bonus terms remain active even after you have completed the wagering. This is the only issue I found, and thought it was important to let everyone know. I have the chat transcript just to confirm but cant attach it from my mobile. Happy and safe spinning. hajnrih
You can find this in a lot of online casinos, so yes it is best to read the T&C of a bonus and confirming with live chat before depositing and playing.

Would be great if you can post the chat transcript with the operator outlining this term. Here you go. Full transcript and my quotes are in the highlighted text. Aria 5/20/2015, 10:08:50 PM Warmly welcome to Casino Adrenaline =) hi, are any slots excluded from playing with the welcome bonus, and what is the maximum bet allowed per spin? Thanks. Aria 5/20/2015, 10:10:13 PM Excluded games are : Scrooge Aria 5/20/2015, 10:10:18 PM and Devil's Delight that is all? Aria 5/20/2015, 10:10:33 PM MAx bet is: Below 25% Unless 25% is more than 7.50$ Aria 5/20/2015, 10:10:40 PM 25% of my deposit, or deposit plus bonus Aria 5/20/2015, 10:11:27 PM 25% of the received bonus Aria 5/20/2015, 10:12:07 PM If you deposit 20 and receive 20 bonus.. your max bet should be less than 5€ so if I deposit 100 and receive 100 bonus, I can not bet more than 7.50 per spin? Correct? If I complete wagering, then I can bet as much as I like? Aria 5/20/2015, 10:15:24 PM yes, that is correct ok, thanks Aria 5/20/2015, 10:15:40 PM One sec. Aria 5/20/2015, 10:16:05 PM Before you make a withdrawal.. in other words, when you have an active bonus.. the max bet will still apply Aria 5/20/2015, 10:16:11 PM even after completing wagering but after you complete wagering the bonus is no longer active, no? Aria 5/20/2015, 10:18:41 PM it is still active ok, thanks. I'll have to think about depositing as I do not really agree with that term. Thanks for your help. ValDes
To be honest, I think the casino support agent made a mistake here... There is NO way for any online casino to consider your bonus active AFTER you completed successfully the wagering requirements. Personally, I rarely make bets as high as 7.50 and above, but frankly speaking, I would be crazy mad if any casino dare to void my winnings with such a BS term! I'll contact their representatives and request more info regarding this matter. For the records, I won $9000 in Casino Adrenaline and they pay me in less than 10 days although their max withdrawal per month is 5000. And that's providing the fact I never told them who's Guru. Wow. A hearty congratz Valdes may there be many more! There's a couple of great operators that offer superb bonuses but their T&C's are just plain lousy. Across the board this seems to be the norm nowadays-please correct me if I'm wrong. As a player I've never been a fan of the deposit bonus since I don't like being tied down by the wagering requirements attached to them. Some of the bonuses I've seen even have a max. cashout of 3,000 Euros. ValDes

After reading the transcript I have to say that I think there has been some mis-communication...I can't see how the bonus is still active once you have completed the wagering. I never bet in excess of this anyway and I have made three withdrawals at Casino Adrenalin but every time I have deposit my wagering requirements and bonus have started from scratch. WELL CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!!! This terms is exactly as Crow explained it! The max bet term still applies even after you have completed wagering requirements! The only time it is removed is either when you make a withdrawal or add money to it - so deposit. Here is the transcript from live chat Hello Sara 20/05/2015 21:51:36 Hi Hello Sara, how are you? Well I hope I have a question if I may? Sara 20/05/2015 21:52:35 go ahead Sara 20/05/2015 21:52:40 I'm okay, how about you? I just wanted to clear something up with one of your bonus terms. The maximum bet as I understand is 25% Unless 25% is more than 7.50 is this right? Sara 20/05/2015 21:54:32 it's 25% od the bonus amount, but never higher than 7.50 So once I have completed my wagering I will be free to bet as much as I like? Sara 20/05/2015 21:55:13 the bonus terms apply as long as you don't deposit or withdraw, until then the bonus will remain active Sorry I don't quite understand what you mean by that? Are you saying the bonus term applies unless I make a withdrawal or another deposit? Sara 20/05/2015 21:56:32 A bonus is active as long as at least one of the following statements are true: The bonus wagering requirements haven’t been met. The bonus or bonuses have not been removed. Sara 20/05/2015 21:56:37 Winnings have not yet been processed. Sara 20/05/2015 21:56:53 this is paragraph 2.5 from the terms Yes, so if the wagering requirements have been met then the bonus term is no longer valid right? Sara 20/05/2015 21:57:14 so as long as one of those three is true, the bonus remains active As I would have fulfilled the wagering requirements of that bonus Sara 20/05/2015 21:57:50 you have wagered the bonus, but it hasn't been removed yet or the winnings processed So what if I don't make a withdrawal? the bonus stays active? even though I have met the wagering requirements? Sara 20/05/2015 21:58:26 if you fulfill the wagering, you can withdraw the winnings with the bonus Yes but what am I asking really is what if I do not want to withdraw straight away and I want to keep playing... Sara 20/05/2015 21:59:07 it stays active until you have taken or added something to your balance would this mean that I still cannot bet more than the max amount you mentioned earlier Sara 20/05/2015 21:59:24 then the max bet rule still applies I'm afraid Rightio. Thanks so much for clearing that up Sara. Much apprecieated. Enjoy the rest of your evening ValDes
ACrowLeftOfTheMurder
I'm very rarely wrong, lol. I know this won't apply to many who wouldn't bet over $7.50, but like I mentioned, sometimes if I have a big win I like to go on and test my luck with a few bigger spins, so this warning was for anyone like me who might do the same. If nothing else, this can be a good example for everyone to always check the terms and ask questions before depositing, as it would be a tragedy to have a nice win you can't withdraw. If anyone ever wants me to check any terms for them I am happy to do so, so just ask. I think I mentioned in my very first post in this forum that I am all about fair play and protecting player rights. For that reason you might see me pop up with these threads just to alert everyone, as I know not everyone always reads the terms, especially new players that may not have experience with online sites. Thanks ValDes and blondie
ACrowLeftOfTheMurder
I should add if anyone is wondering, I personally won't play at Adrenaline because of this term, as I see it as a bit of a sneeky term to entrap a player who may have been lucky enough to clear the bonus and get a nice win. I see no other reason why a casino would have a term like this other to get an unfair second chance at grabbing the players winnings. Not ok in my book, so unfortunately I could never play here on moral grounds. Of course that is just my preference.
ValDes
Fair enough then. If a second live chat agent confirmed this BS term then it must be this way...unfortunately. I think I'm done with Casino Adrenaline.
cocopop3011
I'm not happy I cant play Microgaming games there but I have to say I do like the casino and their live chat is great so this term certainly wont bother me Awena

gemm45
HI There that's very interesting I have just had my £800 win confiscated from Lucky 247 mainly due to the same reasons stated. However I had a £11 bonus in my golden tiger account and managed to win £1000 now I am wondering if the same thing will happen again and if there is any way I can keep my winnings. If anyone knows of the terms and conditions of golden tiger it would be great if you could offer me a solution as I am slightly confused when reading their Terms. Awena
Hello gemm45 and welcome to this happy place. This is a big mess or not,but I will let Valdes and others help with that. Wish you luck and keep us updated!
NextTimeWin
Omg, what a strange policy... When you made WR - there is no active bonus in the moment, and can't be. Otherwise some players can easily catch in such net, and will have their winnings confiscated. Thanks for the informing me, i will be very careful with this casino... Hi gemm45, I'm a little confused as you haven't offered very much information. Was the $11 real cash, bonus cash, or a no deposit bonus? Have you already tried to withdraw the $1,000 and had the withdrawal declined? My advice would be to try withdrawing the funds and see what happens. A fairly obvious first step before worrying about hypotheticals. This casino is part of the Casino Rewards group, and personally I would never play there. A simple Google search will bring up a huge number of issues regarding this group. They are known to confiscate winnings based on vague terms across all their casinos. I recommend not playing at ANY casino if you haven't read and understood their terms. Good luck. Awena
