Could Bitcoin be the future online gambling currency?

Hello!


Did you know that the Bitcoin casinos have taken online gambling to a whole new level, not only because they offer gamblers the advantage to play anonymously but also, because anyone anywhere in the world can gamble on bitcoin casinos bypassing any country’s regulations that's why in this past years i am so glad that i play US restricted casino! 


Share your thoughts or opinion about Bitcoins, specially to all those players that their country was restricted!

I don't know about Bitcoin being the future of online gambling and currencies, however I'm truly concerned when it comes to player's protection and all the necessary anti money laundering regulations. With or without country based restrictions, these two points are both of extreme importance in my humble opinion.

I do not think that Bitcoin is thr future of the online gaming. This for may reasons. First of all the value of the bitcoin changes over year, and I guess you still play on USD stakes even in Bitcoin casinos. Second, Bitcoin has a difficult market. I read somewhere on the web that just a very small part of all transations over the internet are made using Bitcoin. 3rd, I do not think thak bypassign country gambling regulations is a wise thing to do. Even one casino does not accept you, for each country there are still a lot of available casinos that accept you. 4th, the number of Bitcoin casinos is still small.

First of all you can't predict the future unless you have the right observation about the present time right, but it's not that 100% accurate that's impossible, for what i know i based on the present and i foreseen that Bitcoin maybe possible the future currency of online gambling cause it's so easy to use and process. I don't include the other concerns specially security concern cause it's another topic mate.

Please mate, do you have any clue how's the UIGEA here in the US works? For my opinion it's the wise way to for the US players to interact from online casinos cause they prohibited the US players from playing.

Macdonis - I have to disagree when you say 'its the trend now'. It isn't really. Okay, there are more casinos that are opening their doors to the bitcoin currency but I really don't think that its the futre of online gambling and never will be. IMO bitcoin will never take over as a currency and I am sure if I was to start a poll here asking our members who here uses bitcoin hadly anyone would be saying they do.

 

Bitcoin is still relatively new, but I honestly do not think that in years to come bitcoin will what everyone is playing with.

We know that online gambling industry has a huge market and it still growing, so what's the deal for Bitcoins? What i know is that it's a global market that depends on fast and irreversible payments, yes it's true that right now the bitcoin gambling was a tiny percentage of the total gambling online revenues but with the help of bitcoin in terms of low cost and fast transactions and also what they called "Cryptocurrency" that is happening right now for bitcoin (medium of exchange like normal currency)

 

Another is that like the new site based in Canada will bring back the online poker back to U.S after the happenings where the Government shuts down the three nation's biggest poker site that accept bitcoins. Well you can see the progress there my personal opinion is that "Bitcoins makes the online gambling easy." 

 

The problem is that bitcoin will possibly fail because it is deflationary by it's structure/design. That's the major long-term problem.
