Why I don't play Playtech anymore

Hello everyone hope you are all having a great Easter and enjoying all the chocolate and cakes!

 

There was a time a few years ago when I was really into Playtech, but lately it is the last software on my mind when it comes to my deposits. In fact I'd probably go as far as saying I can't remember the last time I actually deposited at a Playtech Casino.

 

Probably one of the main reasons for this is because their mobile casinos are so poor in comparison to Microgaming and Net Entertainment. Whilst this is not a necessity for me it's certainly something that helps me decide whether or not I want to play somewhere because I do like to switch between the platforms. This is what started my drift between myself and Playtech but now it's gone so long ive completely forgot what it's like to play Playtech games.

 

I've never really had a great deal of luck from Playtech. Yes I won two progressives and have some great screenshots but it's just never been consistent.

 

IMO the majority of screenshots we see here from everyone are from Net Ent and Microgaming slots, I'm wondering how many Playtech fans we actually have here?

I can tell you about at least two avid fans of Playtech slots immediately - that's Afi and me. Unfortunately, I cannot play Playtech games any more since they do not accept players from Bulgaria and that's killing me to be honest...

 

Why I love them or to be precise, why I used to love them? Simply because they are having so many branded slots with all these fantastic Marvel Progressive Jackpots attached where one could win even with a min bet of 0.20! And how many NetEnt and Microgaming games you know where a jackpot of 100,000 could be won with a bet of just 20c?

And when I play on mobile (I love playing on my phone ocassionally) I play at bet365, they have great graphics and everything. Altough I love Netent and Microgaming and in a way I think the design is cooler and more fresh, nothing can compare to my love for Marvel.

As coco and blondie have already suggested above, Omni and its sister Fly are always a good choice for a Playtech casino. 

 

I could also suggest Bet365 as their promos are awesome. Not to mention their reputation and speed of payments.

For me Playtech is the 3rd probable choice after MG and NetEnt. They have some games that are still pretty good. I won a couple of times in the past here but this was in a bad playtech casino (ClubGold) and they voided my winnings. Club Gold is not any more a Playtech casino now.

I know, when you leave this site the page says that AskGamblers is avalable also on mobile (the site is mobile optimized), but the truth is that on mobile many links do not work and no games could be played. There are many errors of the site when you try to browse it from mobile. It is one of the worst sites when accessed from a mobile device. So, something need to be done fast, for this site (AskGamblers) to be easely accesed also in mobile. I guess 20% of traffic here is mobile, isn't it?

May I ask what mobile device you are playing? I always use AG on my iPad, I hardly ever use it on my laptop. And yes, it's not perfect but Im certainly not complaining.

 

I am able to play some of the games, but as some require flash then the normal Safari browser just doesn't support the games but that's nothing to do with AG its Apple not supporting flash.

 

I have to say the only problem I experience is that when I scroll down sometimes it just keeps going back to the top which is annoying but if I scroll down slow it's fine.

 

Other than site, for me the site is mobile friendly

I can definitely agree with cocopop, I use askgamblers from my phone about 40% of the time and I do love the look! Never had any problems, so there's a possibility that your flash version needs to be changed for a new one etc, my askgamblerd page lookd anf works as beautifully from laptop as from phone.

Wow!! I missed one day from here and already so many answers to my post about the mobile site.

 Well, well, I have bought myself a nice 10 inch tablet one month ago and the very first day when I tried to click on Games or on other link from the above (casinos, complaints, bonuses, ...) it did not work. Not even when I enlarged the scree, which was done with great difficulty. Please excuse for being so critical, I usually am a good guy.

Then I siad myself, since I have a new tablet it is time to play the games from AskGamblers pages on mobile. Again, none of these games was workin. I was browsing with Google Chrome....

 Thr third time I tried to write a post here in the forum. It took me like ages. This time was not the fault of the site by my fault not being used to my new tablet.

 But again, on my tablet the links are working with difficulty and I can not play any game.

  Again please excuse for these observation. Maybe I am just an exceptil. After all I love you all here!

Well, most of us are using their smartphones or tablets to browse AskGamblers quite often, but we were not in aware of such issues and that is why your post was like wow. At least half of my favorite casinos are Playtech, I found some advantages there I could not find with another providers. I don't like some issues but I assume them.

My biggest win too comes from Playtech..but I don't know what it is about Playtech it just doesn't grab me like Net Ent does.

 

And for example if I had created this thread and said why I don't play Net Ent anymore I do not have any doubt that many many people would have many recommendations for some net Ent casinos for me, whereas I have only had three for playtech!

I don't of know betting/play strategy that works with Playtech. Really. I used to play the casinos a lot because the games are nice-looking, unique etc. But what I've always found is that you win early . . . And then ice cold. Forever. 2 or 3 sizable deposits later, no matter what game you play. For a lot of my other casino play I've switched to really small bets, and haven't tried this on Playtech (though I think for the majority of the games you're playing 50 lines anyway - so you can't bet too small). I just don't bother with Playtech anymore. Also, it doesn't seem like the software is reproducing with the number of casinos coming out thus welcome bonuses are few and far between - not like they used to be.
