Obviously, we all here are fans of online casinos. Before online casinos, all the popularity (and money) belonged to land-based casinos. However they still exist and maybe can be even more exciting than online ones.

 

Anyways, a couple of days ago, I visited one slot club and one real casino, in Belgrade. Actually, on my way from my flat to that Havana casino, there's about 15-20 minutes walking. On that route, there was at least 3,4 slot clubs and a few betting clubs. I feel like my neighbourhood is mini slot village.

Banks and slot clubs around. If I'm a foreigner, I'd think Serbia is very rich country

 

Havana land-based casino in Belgrade is part of "Slavija" hotel and it has separated entrance with red carpet on the stairs.

Inside, it's commodious with a lot of slot machines and electric roulette tables. One roulette table was full of Chinese guys and the other one full of young good looking girls.

There were some gentlemen, in black suits, loud and joyous. They were probably winning and depositing loads of money.

 

Sexy waitress brought me cappuccino after asking me for the free drink.

You can smoke inside, cool! 

 

Deposit is made by putting a paper money into the slit. I deposited 500 serbian dinars, which is about €4,5

Slot machine I played is famous Gaminator - a collection of Novomatic games.

 

My session lasted about 2 hours and I already got bored and my hand and spine were tired. At the end I requested a cash-out, 2000 serbian dinars.

So, I quadrupled my deposit and made a nice, new experience!

 

After that, I played a bit of roulette, but I was lazy to figure out what all that buttons actually mean

Hi Luciana as you know I pretty much play only online casino games. But few weeks ago I got really bored and went to the local landbased casino in London with few friends. It was an amazing 4 hours session. 200 up, 200 down, 100 up, 200, down, 200 up, 300 down, and then i decided to invest another 100.   I really enjoyed the game. Must say that it was a fun casino experience.

What a coincidence and such a small world. I also visited hippodrome! it is quite interesting, fascinating vibe. I went downstairs in Lola's, a very relaxed atmosphere and quite enjoyable. On the gambling floor I have played slots and had a fun time coming out positive. My friends enjoyed Tombola Roulette machines. It's a cool place for a night out!

Yah, even I have enjoyed their theater shows! Somehow more than casino games, its a great destination to enjoy jazz, swing and cabaret. Overall it's a happening place!

Ohhh, familiar place! Been there a couple of times actually, because it's always part of the conference in London (London Affiliate Conference), so they choose Hippodrome for closing party

 

And not so small world, it's very famous casino, everybody knows where it is and it's in centre of London.

 

A lot of things around.. even private parties upstairs. And 3rd floor smoking area!! In completely smoking-unfriendly London!

 I absolutely love going out to the real casinos in my city, though i do have to put up with my fella ogling the incredibly attractive women dealing the cards and other games... I admit I can't help but have a little look at them myself too though  

 

I seem to have more luck on land based slots as well which seems strange to me as I am sure that they have lower RTP than on-line slot games, but I guess thats just how luck works ... right??? Very odd.... 

 

For anybody else that lives in Leeds, UK though I definitely recommend the Grosvenor next to the Stick or Twist over by the Merrion Centre at the top end of town. The food is much better than Napoleons and the poker room gets far more action!

My friend went to one in central London a few months ago. He told me about it. He said that the place was fun and kinda cool though, he also had a little winning streak there. He was happy with the service there & had loads of fun!

 

Raverbabe thanks for your recommendation, whenever I'll get a chance to visit Leeds, I will definitely hit to Grosvenor.

 

And yah if you by any chance visit London, must experience the most amazing casino known as Hippodrome. Its a great destination for a fun night. The food here is spot on and tasty. The menu is really good here. Service can be slow at times, but an incredible place to visit.

Just a little plug again for the Grosvenor casino here in Leeds, went last night with my fella and there was a table hostess named Kerry who was super polite and kind to us all night long, I was actually tempted to ask her if she wanted to come back to ours for a little late night fun!!! Now how often do you get THAT kind of welcome at a landbased eh????

I really enjoy the land based Casino experience and have visited Casino's from Vegas to London..... The atmosphere, the lights and sounds, the people etc cant be matched online.
