Luciana
Hello sugarplums I have one simple question. Ok, maybe not that simple or it even may be tough one with tough choice, dunno! But here it goes: You somehow got a special book where all your future is written. Will you dare to read it or would you rather leave your destiny uncertain and unrevealed? Whatever you choose - why? Afi4wins
Aaaah! What a question indeed Jelena darling! Your question relates to almost everyone's desire to know what is in the future for them! I'm not excluded! I have tried a few times with Astrology experts, paying up some money just to get a complete reading of my past, present and future. However, I read them with interest and with an open heart...because what's written in them can be as perplexing as the cosmos itself! I cannot comprehend everything I read. I cannot comprehend what's there for me in the future. And so...more paid guidance will be necessary from those business-minded so called Astrology experts! So, what do I do then? Pay up and let them explain in more details about my future? Well, not really, but I let them rule the sky...or in better words..."go fly a kite!" Yes, some things can be very accurately translated...but some things are just simply beyond any accurate prediction! So, Jelena darling, no book in this world, or in other worlds, can ever tell exactly what is in store in the future for anyone!!! Whatever happens next depends entirely on what you do now! That's fate and destiny. The choices are yours...you choose it...and you'll take the path you have just chosen! And it's a NEVER-ENDING story of making choices for as long as you live! premsharma16
Hi luciana, I believe i would read the future and i think any sound person will do the same. Of course, insight into the future will help me take better decisions like on which day to bet or which slot to spin .... But yeah then my life will be less adventurous and future driven. I would already know what happens in the future. I may become millionaire but i will lose the main goal of my life that is to explore life and discover the unknown. Importantly, another aspect i would consider is that when i will read the future, it will also contain my description of the death which will somehow keep me in fear that i have only these many days left to live. Maybe that i start living more everyday but the continuous fear of the death will always linger in my head. Also, if i would already know the future , i wouldn't make mistakes and mistakes are the only thing that teach us lessons of life. Thus , i may not be a as good of human being as i would have been. This is what i feel Luciana. Hope you got a broad idea what i wanted to convey Luciana
ValDes
We used to have such questions in our lexicons when I was a teenager some 225 years ago.... And the answer back then and now remains the same. NO. <_> Knowing too much makes you a sad person. Knowing the future would make you probably the saddest person in the world. Raptordinos
Hi people, Analyzing back my own life, I could see my life followed patterns when I acted by instinct, but when I was aware about some aspect I had the choice to cut or continue with a specific issue, I could see similar things arriving to my life were result of similar decisions of mine. Every time I improved (or vice versa) something, or changed my taste about something, or lost my ability to do something, my patterns changed too, it means my destiny changed, my paradigms changed. The most of my life I hated casinos, then casinos smiled to me now here I am, and I love it. Keep on surprising me life! Zabier
Intriguing question. Personally, I would have to say no. I think even if you read your future and it isn't all bad, you would focus on the bad stuff and it would suffocate you. My mother always used to say before injections or operations etc that the anticipation is worse than the actual ordeal so knowing what was coming would only make the bad stuff worse. Plus, isn't good stuff even better when it's a surprise? Luciana and Afi4wins

Icymod
Aleeeee, wow, I really didn't expect so many answers to this thread Now I have a homework to read and comment them all, while asking myself the same question Your homework including reading and commenting others posts are to ask yourself "What should I do to make Icymod happy? Will he like my actions and will his Luciassion stop once I give in to his demands? I do owe him a lot and I've postponed him long enough! I think I need to apologize to him too as what I'm doing to him isn't fit for a Forum Heroine" You also should put "Dear Diary, Mission Complete! Icymod is happy thanks to me! Happy days!! Sincerely Jelena"
Ahmo6
For me personally it would be a NO. Cause knowing my future, i would definitely focus on repairing all the things i would regret doing, that i dont like or disagree with etc... and it would just frankly take the fun out of my life. No more curiosity or just the desire to explore , be excited about or of course worried about something. The life as we know it would become an empty shall of something we use to be , no matter if the future holds something positive or negative for us.
