Luciana
Hi there This topic probably already exists, but since we don't have search button and I am wondering at the moment about this, I'll ask for your opinion or even experience. Is it possible to live from gambling (and this includes slots, poker, roulette, blackjack etc) like the only source, without having a job? Our "We're paying $5 for every comment..." don't count Toiletseat
ValDes
... This topic probably already exists... Aha, it really exists, check here. But since you started it anyways, I'll answer it once more. In my opinion, yes, you can live and support you and your family only from gambling online, but definitely not by playing slots! Poker, Sports betting, even table games like roulette and blackjack could be predictable enough and quite successful for an extremely experienced and perfectly self-disciplined gambler. But slots...although I love them and they are my preferred casino games, I doubt anyone could live only from playing them in a long term basis. Awena
.Luciana, friend of mine who is so good in poker,,very good, last ten years lived almost from sports betting. When I had some really nice money,I asked him to invest in his betting, he looked at me like, why ? I knew I will give away money and he was so good, but at the moment he felt uncomfortable with that. He has money, he use to spending a lot, and I wanted to pay him to go in the US on that famous poker tournament, he refused But no matter, like now I have 10 euros in one casino that I can use only on sports betting and I want ask him what to chose to bet on, because he is into sports betting for so long. cocopop3011
For me, no I don't think someone can make a living from gambling. Poker maybe short term.
Toiletseat
Luciana, for this one time I don't agree with ValDes . Also table games are not predictable. You can run a longtime lucky streak, but you cannot make a consistent winning, unless you are a very patient player who lures his chance, and then hit with a large bet. For example BlackJack, the dealer did not bust in 8 games in a row. Eventually the dealer has to bust one time, so you start playing from this point, playing a never bust strategy with martingale progression. Same goes for roulette. Wait for a even chance not to appear in the last 12 spins, or a dozen not to appear in the last 18 spins , an excellent shot for a good oldfashioned Martingale progression. But then again....nothing is sure in these type of games. This luring is not recommended, most of the time you are just hanging around a table, just waiting Only poker, where you can actually improve your own skills, or sportsbetting (see arbitrage / sure bets) it is possible to make a living. Damn, and I suck at poker .
ValDes
Perhaps 'predictable' was not the right word... What I meant was that one can read and learn a lot about these casino games, while for slots... There's nothing you could learn or read about.
