    How about some actual chit-chat in this thread? Non-gambling?

     

    I mean, what do you all do for a living? Or whats your ideal career?

     

    Hey raverbabe  :)  this chit chat has 205 pages,so from all this chit chatting,there is chit chat what we all do for a living.But lets start again,at the moment i dont have actual job,well i been working something on net and with gambling ,i think i have decent salary  ;)

    Hahah my apologies, I tend to skip the first hundred and fifty or so pages on threads of this size (simply because they are mostly out of date by the time I get to them!) Thanks for humouring me though ;-)

     

    I personally am doing a Masters in English Lit so work-wise, i'm pretty much doing anything I can to get by (as I sadly, have to pay my own fees and living costs unlike Undergraduates) :-(

     

    My last contract was with Jet2.com - paying compensation to flight delay customers. Great pay but sadly, only a short term contract. I now have a week to decide what I am going to do next. Prostitution is looking tempting at this point haha

    Hehe, sincerely hope you gonna manage to find something any time soon and skip the part with '' the most ancient profession ''. :D

     

    Masters in English literature sounds rather promising though, both in terms of job opportunities and remuneration rates. Not even mentioning the enormous benefits of being well in aware with most of the great British authors. :good:

    Thanks. Yes, it is nice being in the 'well-read' club, but as degrees go, it is fairly useless in terms of job prospects unless I were to go for a full-time writing career option, which has the huge disadvantage of being massively oversaturated with competition.

     

    That being said, with my English Lit/writing experience I may be the first person to write several hundred reviews for you in a month without ***** it up! ;)

    Several hundred reviews?! :o Ouch, that's he ll lots of a writing raverbabe. Besides, as already stated in my PM, we definitely do not chase quantity but quality with these writing based contests. ;)

     

    Wish you a fruitful writing though. Meanwhile, you could keep an eye on the jobs offered by AskGamblers. We are constantly looking for new additions to our team, including experienced writers.

    Does anyone know of some sites that offers online jobs for writing articles, copy writing, audio transcriptions, anything? I have profiles set up on Elance and Odesk and applied to maybe 50 jobs and not a single person hired me :D Incredible. So if anyone is doing some online work feel free to share. Thanks.
