    In case you are wondering why there is "Our" in the topic title instead of "My", well, let me tell you then...

     

    My dear Sharon, let me surprise you a bit! You have been actually interviewed not only by me, but from Luciana, Icy, Afi, Lordy, Kate and Seat as well! Surprise! :yahoo: Hope you don't mind, but I couldn't resist to involve here all our friends, we all love you so much! :give_rose:

    Q1: You are obviously the most dedicated AskGamblers forum member, no question about that. But how do you feel with your new role as a forum moderator? And what do you think of the members of AskGamblers?

    A1:  Well what can I say, I love it! I decided to take a break towards the end of last year from gambling, I never intended to take a break from AG it's just ended up that way. I wanted to isolate myself from casinos, not because I thought I had an addiction or anything like that it's just slots were becoming my life and taking over! I'd eat, sleep breathe slots so I really needed to get away from it. 

    When I had an email from Jelena in my Yahoo asking me to return as part of the team this really touched my heart. I wasn't ready when I first read it and it sat in my inbox for over a month possibly two and I waited until the new year to come back...and I absolutely made the right decision! I love my role it's great..now I have power over you all mwahhahahahaha! Just kidding.

    I love all our members here, I've made some really good friends and I love coming here everyday, you never know what someone is going to come out with. Jelena and Valdes have both been so welcoming and friendly I'm eternally grateful and a special thanks to Afi too!

    Q2: Tell us more about your gambling habits. How often do you play, how much do you spent on gambling, which games do like to play? If someone suddenly forbids playing slots everywhere, but gives you the opportunity to play one slot for the last time, what slot it would be?

    A2:  The only games I play now are of course slots! I used to play them everyday but now I don't. I'm really enjoying my role here so to be honest that's taking precedent over my slot playing at the moment. I will always play slots but never like I used to...I enjoy helping people so much more. And it's really enjoyable spending Valleys (my partners) slots winnings!

    I don't spend a great deal on gambling now and I never deposit more than £20 a time. If I was rich I believe it would be easy to blow thousands.

    Oh my god if I could play just one slot one more time...there'd be so many in the running Mad Mad Monkey, Crocodopolis, Ladies Night, Space Wars, Reel Rush, Tally Ho, Spring Break, Immortal Romance.... If I have to choose one I believe it would be Mad Mad Monkey!


    Q3: How has your gambling experience been since 2014 started?

    A3 - It's been slow! But that's the pace I've chosen which is fine. I have had a few withdrawals here and there nothing major but I haven't been making major deposits so it's as expected I suppose. 

    In terms of the slots that have been released so far this year, it would be an understatement to say I am a little disappointed!


    Q4: What would you do if you hit the Jackpot?
    A4 - This is easy. First I would pass out, then I'd spend it ALL! 


    Q5: Could you try explaining us why gambling is so popular across the United Kingdom?
    A5 - Valdes, I honestly have no idea! We don't have very strict gambling laws in the UK at the moment, even though the government are cracking their whip a little. I'm afraid that's as far as my knowledge base spreads in terms of terms of this question!


    Q6: How did you meet your husband valleys? Could you tell us more about your family?

    A6 - oooooh I don't think I can tell you that on this forum! Ha! Just joking. I met Valleys through a group of friends, he was DJ'ing in a nightclub in Cardiff one night and we were all on the guest list...the rest is History! We hit it off right from the word go. Within 4 months I fell pregnant with our daughter Sophie, she is now 9 and we are still going strong. I'm not actually married to Valleys yet!! None of us ever really thought much of marriage, I was never one of those girls as a child who dreamed of their wedding day so when Valleys proposed to me on Christmas Day 2 years ago it was a complete shock. Unfortunately Valleys had a very serious accident where he broke his back, pelvis and foot and we nearly lost him due to the severity of his injuries do for the last two years we have been rebuilding our lives! Now I've just found out I'm pregnant which is fantastic as we have been trying for over 3 years (yes we even managed to do the funny business when Valleys was ill...haha) so we finally get to extend our family. After the baby is born we may look at finally preparing our wedding. So you may see an Ask Gamblers wedding yet!

    Family is the most important thing in my life...and I have a huge family ....I am very blessed.



    Q7: What are your pet peeves, strongest suits and your wonderful hobbies?

    A7 - My biggest Pet Peeves are Slow Drivers, Ignorant/Arrogant People and Being Cold! 
    I'm not quite sure what you mean by strongest suits sorry but my hobbies are many! I love music, art & crafts, (not other people's art!) outdoor activities (I'm such an adrenalin junkie) and my biggest hobby is being a Mum.


    Q8: What about the “other” Sharon, the one behind the scene of the AskGamblers forum?

    A8 - How long have you got? This is obviously my favourite question. I actually have a little picture I'd like to share with you...its a present that I had Christmas just gone...its sums me up down to a tea!

    What you see with me here is what you get really! Although If I was to meet anyone of you in real life I would be extremely quiet in the first few days! Everyone always thinks I am a quiet girl, it takes a few days for me to come out of my shell.

    I'm not a good girl by any means...I like to break the rules now again but I've been tamed! I haven't always gone down the track in life but I've learnt from my mistakes and it's made me who I am today. If I could live my life again...would I change anything? Yes! I had a very good head in school and studied law in college ready to go to University I had my career ahead of me but a few bad decisions in life meant that career could never become a reality but I've made what I can out of my life and now I couldn't be happier!

    I work for Mazda and Mitsubushi carrying out their Servicing Calls! I love it. Working from home definitely has it perks, when I have to return to the office I think I'll shed a few tears! I'm also a Mystery Shopper and Auditor. This I love more than anything. It pays very low wages but I do it because I love it and it takes me in a new direction everyday.

    All that aside, I'm just me! 


    Q9: If you were a man for a day, how would you spend that day?

    A9 - Oh my god, what a question! Haha! I really think that I would try and spend the whole day at a Football Match, I never understand why men fantasise over football so much, I hate it. So I'd probably do that and try and learn what the 'offside rule' is.


    Q10: What inspires you the most and what's your dreamland?

    A10 - My daughter inspires me to do everything I do. My dreamland is at home with my family. I'm not a greedy person I've never wished to be a millionaire in a dream country just for my family to be here and healthy.


    Q11: Imagine somebody gives you a magic stick for a day, what would you do with it?

    A11 - I'd turn myself into Prime Minister of the world! This world needs to be run by a dominant female! And who better than Cocopop herself!


    Q12: What holds the future for our beloved Sharon? Any plans to start your own online casino soon?

    A12 - Well next I'm after your job Valdes, then Lucianas!!!! Hahahahaha....just kidding. 
    The future for me is being a mum for the 2nd time. After 9 years it's really scary but I'm so excited for this little one to come! So sleepness nights, sick covered clothes and many stressful days is my future I think! Cannot Wait.

    In terms of AG, I'm loving my time here so I just hope to keep coming here everyday and spreading Joy to you all. No plans to start my own online casino! Can you imagine COCOPOPS CASINO - I have just one word MAYHEM!

    I'd like to say a closing sentence if I may?

    Since I joined Ask Gamblers I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Both Valdes and Luciana have allowed me to basically write what I want here, they have both made me feel very special here. But what I'd also like to say is there may be other forums, there may be ones who have more members, there may be ones who have more codes, there may be ones who have for forum posts, I really don't know I don't look but you won't find one that has a family like we do here at Ask Gamblers. I love how we all know each other so well, new comers are always welcomed with open arms by each and everyone of you, and you are all fantastic...I hope we all remain friends and fellow gamblers for many many years ahead.

    oh and i forgot to say this,i am member of few forums and believe me, I am telling you this from the bottom of my heart,there is no such a friendship or how should i say it hmm... hanging out with members like in this forum,neither you talk with Administrators of the site,like Jelena and Valdes are talking to us every day.I really enjoy coming here every day ,because you are all nice, friendly people and I like you all :give_rose:

    Yey finally!! :)

     

    I just had a quick read, but tomorrow, with a big cup of hot coffee and comfy seat, I'll read it fully and just enjoy (taking care not to pour my coffee, laughing, because Sharon has an amazing sense of humour) :D

     Yes, i also read it in the same way i think it's just because of excitement to read this surprising question and answer. Thumbs up Sharon! ;D
