It’s be not had chance to check all the screenshots yet but I have checked two pages and all seem to be within our rules for timeframes. However, I take you comment on board and may introduce a rule to prevent this happening in the future.

The contest only lasted for a week and Ive been busy with other stuff, only managed to find time for this the last two days. All my entries are within 25hrs or so, I have not deliberately delayed them. What would you consider a "reasonable amount of entries" to post on the last day then? It really does not make any difference in the end if I would post 20 entries each day or 140 on the last. As far as I know I haven't broken any rules but if this is too much then you can exclude me from this competition.

You have abided by the rules and posted your screenshots. Your screenshots are within the 48 hours rules as well. Great job.

You have not broken any rules don’t worry. I’ve not checked all your screenshots yet but the ones I checked are fine. Afi may have a valid point that it “could seem” like you’ve chosen the last day to play so other people don’t have much chance to increase their screenshots which is why I suggested I may implement a rule for this in future contests. However, so far all looks good, well done and good luck.

if there is another one of these double after splitting contests here are some nice rule change suggestions to improve these contests;

- no splitting of ten value cards. (splitting tens increases house edge by approximately 5.5%)

- if splitting of ten value cards remains allowed then they must be an actual real pair i.e. Ten Ten, Jack Jack, Queen Queen, King King.

- limit the number of daily entries to 20 or 25 per player.

- player may only play one seat per round

- player must have made posted at least 1 entry in the first half of the contest to be allowed to post any entries in the 2nd half of a contest. 

another contest would be;

screenshots of blackjacks.. each time a player receives a blackjack and takes screenshot of it and betting history, it is an entry 

this could be in addition to the double after splittin contest or it could be in a seperate contest where it is only blackjacks.

it doesn't matter if a dealer also gets blackjack in the same round it still counts as an entry as long as the player gets blackjack.

but only one seat per round for this contest as well.

@Flatzem888 To be very honest and to be very fair to participants, splitting of any cards should be allowed, whether it is 10+J, J+Q, Q+K and so on. There's no point in disallowing these. The casino will ALWAYS have the edge in whatever game!

I do agree that some sort of limitation should be a rule, either a specific number of entries per day, or NO NEW ENTRIES (no entries submitted in contest so far) ON THE VERY LAST DAY.

It is IMPERATIVE that all members should always check into this forum regularly, even though they may be occupied elsewhere at other forums.

Unfortunately most of these rule changes cannot be implemented, we do not want to limit entries. The more the better, we also don’t discriminate players based on how many tables they can play.

However, your last point will be considered and I was already thinking of implementing this change in our next contest. 
 

We also won’t be changing the mechanics of the contest but thanks for the suggestions.

The contest was closed, the thread isn’t closed. I’m still checking through the screenshots, once I’ve finished I will do the random draw and announce the winners.
