But on another note, I have a question regarding the new rule for paid contests. Let's assuming that we all made meaningful posts on the thread for the month, if we do not write reviews for that month can we have that opportunity carried over to next month or do posts and reviews equal to each other all have to be in the same month?

I think in general you need to be contributing meaningful post whether you do reviews or not. Meaningful post mean contributing to gambling relating discussions and not just normal chit chat and one line sentences.

 

That is how another user got banned by just posting in chit chat and non gambling related discussions and participated in the paid contest. However the user was given a second chance but blew that up too.

 

Mr V correct me if i am wrong.

 

 

 

• All writing based contests are meant for active AskGamblers Forum members, which means that the total number of your forum posts must be higher than the total number of your reviews. The same rule applies for each and every monthly cycle of the relevant contest.

To be honest, never thought the initial version of this particular rule would ever need any amendments and was counting that our long standing members are quite well in aware of what's expected from them to fit within the 'active' requirement. Anyways, hope it is all clear now.

I asked a general question and this is what I got!? Ridicule!?    My posts are meaningful, I've been providing new casinos in which AG may consider, no deposits in which members can use, new games which are coming out in the future, Valdes even asked if I can write casino content through PM (Unsure about the idea).

 

One line sentences!? My posts must be invisible to you!   Before you try that on any member, please ask other members if I am indeed unworthy to such an excellent website dedicated to gambling for all!

 

I've been a member for over 3 years now holding 1000+ in posts, 22 badges on Level 9. If my posts were meaningless, the honorable Judge Valdes by now would sentence me to be banned from Askgamblers. For this plan to be true for Icymod to be banned by Valdes, thereafter I do not want to think about Valdes & why he did such a sentence...that's if he would do such a thing!

I remember vividly that the username is Astarte. She was copying and abusing the contest which gave no originality to her work. Blamed me & tried to take me down with her....those were the days when Valdes gave me a hard time as a new member The rules were shorter back then

There was also another user QueenofGames - She is the one i was referring to. She even created a duplicated account and got banned straight away. You can look it up in the 2nd last page of the "Introduce yourself to the world" Thread...

A general answer by nature, your answer is admirable but my mind just doesn't want to register this, my eyes do not believe. In the past, I called this forum a "ghost town", I spited you in the wrong way, I registered a duplicate account as Nightingale, I became intensely infatuated by Miss Isakov going crazy through and through bluffing to meet my demands yet I had no warning points or a warning to be banned. Something has got to give! The word still boggles me to this day is............why? Reassure me, make me believe as I'm very sure I had more than a "second chance"! Maybe my "evil plans" weren't very serious

If I post just 1 emoticon in response to a post, would that reply be disregarded and counted as not valid at all? That would be most unfair indeed. Not all 1-line sentences are useless, or out of context, unless that reply was meant to be rude, degrading, humiliating, or simply being downright senseless or uncalled for.

I think it's fair enough not rolling posts over and the like, it shouldn't be a chore to write on the forum surely?!

What i meant, before that user was banned, V mentioned that the particular user was abusing paid contest, she was posting 95% of the time in non gambling related discussion and those were normally 1 line sentences.

 

So i am not saying its wrong, its just that V mentioned it that Queenof Games, does not post in gambling related discussions etc or something similar.
