Thanks for the welcome. I was going to update my results right away last post but am doing it now.

 

Fairly new to online slots. I have played at land casinos and win some and usually lose it all at some point and I get some decent hits now and then.. I'm not a big $$$ spender online and pretty much lose my funds right away when playing online slot games.

 

I found the free slot contests and I have been trying them out too, with pretty much the same results. I'm always the Looooooser .....

 

Are the slot contests any kind of an indication of what to expect when playing online slots? I mean, yeesh, I'll start out with 10,000 coins and end up with 1500 at best while some are always at 300++ thousands right away.

 

What am I doing wrong, or is it that the games are the big bad R word of any gamblers nightmares, Ri.g..

As a relatively new to online slots and casinos I would recommend you to take a walk through some of the guides, which you may find listed in my signature! Just one quick glimpse at them will answer most of your question in no time!

You canot expect decent rewards if the tournament is free, dear Fazi! Everything in this world, and that's including gambling, comes with a price, you know!

Im not expect decent rewards in free turnaments - But Im like somtimes make a little fun for free and know is few place where this is possible.

People start play with free turnaments - to make a fun somtimes if lucky collect small wins - Next time mayby buy some ticket with some fee and mayby win somethig better,

Or test same slots in real money mode.

Reading your last posts makes me feel like you have just made the perfect explanation of all the Microgaming tournaments - chance to win small amounts, test slots in real mode, to kill the boredom... Which on the other hand makes me ask you about your strange statement:

Microgaming have set up turnament rulez - player have short time - and if you start with 1000$ balance and make example 100 spin with 10$ then you finish turnament.- all wins from this spins go to other balance ..... This is poor rulez - Better rulez is player decided how play - decided abaout bet size - use big stake or small stake - And dont have only few minuts . but example everybody get 100$ or 500$ start balance and turnaments period is 24h this is good rulez . And player finish turnaments if spend all credits - but winnigs will be credit to same player balance. .

Fazi, please, no need to explain me so detailed what a tournament is! I'm playing for years, in more than 200 online casinos, so I'm totally in aware about all types of present and past tournaments, believe me

 

What I don't accept in your statement is that Microgaming powered casinos have set poor rules for their tournaments. That's absolutely not true for many reasons, some of which I'll try to list here:

1. MG is supposed to be the first gambling platform, offering tournaments to its customers for almost more than a decade - so they know better than everyone else in the industry how to organize these kind of competitions!

2. They got everyday free tournies with relatively decent rewards, something you can't say about many other platforms!

3. You got the rewards very quickly, often in less than 24 hours with quite an acceptable wagering requirements and without any max cash-out restrictions!

4. They got everyday(and weekly/monthly ongoing) paid tournaments with very attractive rewards....

 

I've taken part in so many tournaments over the years that barely remember for most of them. But still have memories for my biggest reward so far - 2nd place in the weekly tournie at casino Red Kings, worth $200! Lately I'm keen on the 3DICE tournaments, which I find as quite intersting, although the rewards are not so big as I wish.

 

Anyway, what I'm begging you Fazi is to be more careful with the epithets next time, before giving such a harsh statements for a colossal player in the world of online gambling, such as Microgaming, which is still known as the most reputable and trustworthy platform after more than 15 years on top of that!

I tink I got it figured out why my chances are so slim at the tournaments. It seems that a tornament is not a seperate tournament at each casino, almost all the casinos are linked together and the total amount of players at any given free tournament came be from any number of differnt casinos. Not just the one you are playing at. Weird haye? Is it the the same with all slot games?

billyboy - Microgaming turnaments - are often connected not all turnaments off corse but a lot turnaments .

Example - you have accont in 20 or 30 microgamign brands you can joined to same one turnaments using few accont - one accont per one casino - so example you can join to (one-same) turnaments from example 5 or 10 place-brand and get 10 or more chance in same turnaments.

example one join from 32 red - next one join from - La vida - one from Cinema - - crazy vegas - etc.. So players have accont in example 10 -20 or more microgaming brands - good with rulez one accont per one casino - Turnaments are often connected - So player can get a lot chance - if joined for same turnament - from a lot casinos. - And a lot person do this - so is not easy win somthing in Microgamign free turnaments.

 

So one player can joined for one free turnament from 5-10 or more casinos and get 10 chance - finnaly in one place from 10 chance have good turnaments sesion - and in this place player bay continues. ( when im was play in microgaming turnaments im often see this - in turnaments registrations before turnaments start - in player list - example player username - Jimi1,Jimi2,Jimi3. or Sam1,Sam2,Sam3....Sam9 - So in Microgamign turnaments players can play good with terms and conditions and get a lot more chance then only 1 chance - Only player must have registered accont in a lot microgaming brands and join to one same turnaments from few brands.

I think you didn't catch the point of all those slot tournaments very correct. Of course I know people who won in these tournies, actually I know one of them extremely well, but that's maybe because it is me! I have won numerous times in Microgaming, RTG and even Net Entertainment slot tournaments. Some could possibly treat these competitions as fun and just as practise, but I always look at them as a potencial source of winnings, you know.

It could be due to your number of posts. Try to reach 15 posts and least and then try again, ok?

Give me some feedback for the "add on" question. Where did you saw or use that? If it is for poker then look at this:

In a poker tournament, they may offer an 'add-on,' which is an option to buy more chips than a player received with his original buy-in. Usually, there is one option to 'add-on' during a tournament, at the end of the rebuy period or at the first break.

 

It is different than a rebuy in that players can choose to 'add-on' regardless of how many chips they have.

Hi ValDes, I saw the "Add on" thing in slots tournament. The person had more coins to play than the original buy in or continue amount. I talked to the chat person and they said that some games come with the Add on feature as well as rebuy or continue buys.

 

You say you've won at tournaments. I don't know how you do it but my experience is far different than yours. When I try them I watch the veiw box where you can watch other players betting and their winnings. Everytime I make a bet I'm lucky to get a hit every second to fifth spin and even then it's rarley more than my bet. Oh sure, I've hit the odd bonus game and free spins but again, rarely do they amount to much compared to what I'm seeing when the other players wins are increasing by double and triple for each and every bet they make.

 

At regular slots, even all the deposits I've made, about 25 so far, I don't seem to get much play time at all. I'm a small stakes player, usually one or two coins and full lines). I've played at my fair share of land based casino and as I said, I rarely take anything home and I do get the odd wins above my original stake, but on the online casinos I've yet to even once win anything above my original deposits.

 

I'm sort of at the point now where I'm thinking that these online casinos can make or break you at will, and I'm about ready to call 'er quits at online gambling. Maybe they don't like the small stakes wagering?

Billy, I think you have just been unlucky. That's all, mate. You know, online casinos (and all type of gambling) is not supposed to be rewarding to anybody, who play! Your luck will come sooner or later.

By the way, in the beginning of my "gambling career" I was feeling almost the same as you did right now! Used to play only with small stakes, but never managed to win even a single decent win. Deposit after deposit, at different casinos with different gambling platforms with the same results. Until one day, came the big day! I wonder if my location has some effect on my chances/odds? When I log into a casino site the address bar has my country code in the address. Maybe the great slot monster for my location hasn't built up enough of a pot because the players are so few from where I live? I know when I play at some online casinos I am restricted from playing certain slot games because of where I live.

If there was some kind of a connection between the player's location and the chance to hit a decent win, I'm afraid, i would never hit anything in slots, mate!
