Seeking Legal Advice: Finding a Malta-based Lawyer to Sue Pressenter Group

Recommended Posts

Hello AskGamblers community,

I am in need of some advice and guidance on finding a reputable lawyer based in Malta to help me pursue legal action against the Pressenter Group (NeonVegas, 21.com, JustSpin, CasinoFest, RapidCasino, XLBet etc.). I believe they have unfairly confiscated my deposited funds, and I would like to explore my options for suing them.

Has anyone here had any experience with Maltese lawyers who specialize in gaming law? I would appreciate any recommendations or advice on how to proceed. Additionally, if you have any insights on the process of suing a casino, I would be grateful to hear about your experiences and any tips you may have.

As a fellow player, I would like to ensure that I am well-prepared and informed before taking any legal action. Any help or guidance from the AskGamblers community would be much appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Best regards,

Rxsse

Hello and welcome to the forum. First of all, sorry to hear you are having issues. Could you please explain what happened with your deposited funds and we can try and assist you further, If you can, please specify which of these casinos you have an issue with.

@rxsse, from what I know and can see so far, after so many years in Askgamblers, there has been some gamblers who got caught with issues at certain casinos, had wanted to pursue the matter further to court for justice, but nothing has ever come back from any of them...not a single word!

So, we cannot really know if such pursuances would be fruitful, or would just be wasted time and effort.

Perhaps it would be better to get some kind of assistance here in this forum first before going further. ;)

A big caveat is how much are we talking here? If 1k, forget it, if 5k forget it, even 10k you'd probably see legal bills of about 20k.

Casino's rarely end up in court - could be the jurisdiction issues and the cost prohibitive-ness of the claims.

There are other options - complaints, even going directly to MGA (not that they will do much) or initiating a charge back on the card etc if they've not supplied a service that would come way before any court action.

Sometimes a letter can make a difference - Letter Before Action (doesn't need to come from a Solicitor) but if all of the above fails, and we're not talking about 100k etc, then i'm afraid you'd be better placed to forget about it unless you want to try and spend, and maybe not even get anything at the end, 20k to get back 1k in deposits etc

There's a reason forums don't have many case studies on taking casino groups to court because it very rarely, if ever, happens (the Mr Green case was for something over a million)

Your first port of call would be to submit some complaints here via the complaints system be detaiedl about each matter as its good to have all the facts laid out

, clear and , precise . The Legal approach should always be the last approach as was mentioned by another the legal costs are quite large unless the amount(s) being

sort are quite significant also keep in mind she can seek legal costs in suing and if she strikes a Pro Bono Laywer no costs at all might just see some injustice and

try to make reputation I'm no stranger the courts .

Also many will argue their contract law you agreed to this you agreed to that [holds a hand up] my fine friends it is the courts that decide what is legal and what is not

legal anyone can make rules by it is the legal judiciary that has the final say : that said the complaint process is a logical first approach .

All the Best Rxsse ,

I can assure you that a lawyer that specializes in igaming industry, has a hefty fee.

I would try to solve it via askgamblers complaints platform first, then I would file a lawsuit.

It's not just about the lawyer you could get one specialising in the igaming industry just to have to deal with

a court that loosely follows British common law , file a writ and then go through a lengthy waiting process of

waiting for the case to be heard but once again keep in mind if the client sues for legal costs and damages

and wins their case they will pay absolutely zero and hang the bill around their neck .
