What do you want out of 2023?

Soooooo, since you all know we are now part of GiG, I was wondering is there anything you want out of the forum this year?

Anything that I can make happen. 

Things that would attract new members to us or things that would make us stand out?

If there is anything, now is the time to say it.

More competitions but instead of casinos these competitions should be from providers. Every time a provider is releasing a new game we should have screenshot competitions. Prizes could vary from cash in casino account or amazon vouchers.

And these competitions should be advertised on YouTube as well. Right now these are being advertised on just Twitter and Instagram.

Whilst I love this idea, we don’t have any provider reps unfortunately, so I don’t think this is something I am going to get to me or happen

While I like the enthusiasm and initiative from this passionate moderate above I'd be greedy to ask for a ride on a full grown capybara while petting a hen about to lay eggs on an island. If the eggs fall there will be cushions or of similar ideas attached to the capybara to catch the eggs! There will be addition support like extra legs to equalize my weight for the capybara somehow. 

Do you think AG will have a loyalty / participation program that accrues points based on activity and convert them into rewards?

It’s a fantastic idea. Not something I can implement myself unfortunately but I will forward your suggestions.

This idea has been brought up and discussed in this forum some years ago, when Valdes was still very active in the forum, but unfortunately, nothing beneficial to members has come up thus far. No harm trying again I suppose, but we members shouldn't expect much to happen though. If something does come up, that would and could bring new life and vigour into this forum.

Firstly, a forum's only as good as it's members and what i noticed on AG is, and Afi mentioned this in a thread, is new members - i mean, how many people sign up with their first and second names and post some inane, banal, posts? (there's one by Rob below me that epitomises that) So, as a human, you wonder: is this AI, is this a bot? A clue is how often they post screenshots - none at my last round of counting. So, getting rid/discouraging these types of artificial 'accounts' is important.  

The problem you face as a casino forum is that for most, it's a short life span - i do a lot of stuff around the house/helping mates out with theirs so i'm part of a few DIY/Builder ones - as i'll do that probably until they stick me 6 foot under, i'll always be in and around those forums - gamblers, hit with SOW, no play time, will maybe not be that long a serving member, so you're going to get a lot of turnaround. 

Comp wise - fine line to balance - it's good to reward members but in my own personal viewpoint if i see a forum is just a series of 250 quid comps (i have no interest in taking part in comps nowadays) then i find it off putting (or i'll go to LCB) (Blackjax will disagree :-p)

It's quite simple though in theory - a vibrant community, exchange of views gives a good start.

Thanks for your input. Always appreciated.  Although I’m not sure I agree with this. Not everyone wants to post their winning screenshots.

This forum is not just about comps. Far from it. These contests are just a way of reward since we don’t currently have any loyalty program.

I agree, not everyone does, but with some new members, despite being avid players, it's amazing how little they contribute to things like that - i think it's a good indicator - eg. I doubt the likes of Oliver and Rob have ever spun a spin on a slot.  Ergo....

I usually try to contribute by posting wins, new game and casino suggestions. Most of my year has gone into winning back my losses during a month so that takes a lot of time. Currently I have been present at the forum without posting much as my issue with a casino doesn't give me the energy to start something new. I am just sad as the amount being held is a lot for someone like me.  

Hopefully when things get sorted I ll contribute more.

With the announcement that our contests won't be reinstated immediately, I need you to all really think this time about what you want out of this forum. 

And this time I don't just mean things I can implement, I mean ANYTHING. 

This could be the beginning of something very special, but I need your help to make it happen. 

Release your wildest forum ideas below. By Monday at the latest please.

Two things come to mind 

1. Creating donating wallet where members can share some money from their winnings.(but better to make balance of the wallet transparent for all :)) In real casinos I often find out people who lost coming and asking for money to others who won. I dont know if it is allowed to organize it here but its a good idea

2. Maybe casinos are interested organizing free tournaments where winners will get Free Chips and free spins?  they can share promos here to enter to thair tournament
 ...or in the best case scenario do AG own free tournament on the website. I think for casinos it wont be a problem to give free chips and free spin prizes to winners.

Also I did not know that you had contest titled We are paying $5 for every published comment! Thats more close to AG concept and I think if you can afford it you have to continue it

For now they are suspended, but I will update the forum once we have fully transitioned to GiG and I know more

yeh as I said its good idea too keep $5 for every comment contest. I like also when people post screenshots of their experience .
 
actually most of the players take screenshots when they make deposits ask for payouts and also get chat transcripts (I normaly do)

Will it mess around if we do casino testings? and everyone who do test casinos and provide screenshots of testing will get additional $5! : / they can hide private information in screenshots like address, phone and full name

 (Should the above be disregarded) How about a contest in the future for the worst screenshots in slots, photos of obscured slots / casino games players would guess upon OR we ask Cocopop3011 to display a slot or game of her choice, she asks a single question in regards to that game ie. "What do you think about Dead or Alive?" or "How is the RTP of this game?", the players would reply with a link to a song to describe that slot. Cocopop3011, depending on how she felt about her chosen game through experience or not at all would rate the song based on how accurate she feels about the game choice and how funny the song the player chose. 

Cocopop3011: How would you describe Heavenly Riches?

Player: Justin Timberlake - Can't stop the Feeling!

Note: Depending on Cocopop3011, it has to be a game that's available to everyone.

For the players, the song has to be well known.

For links, I assume they are okay to post on AG?

For the ranking system, accuracy and laughability of the chosen game to earn points.

@AnOldFriend Heeey buddy, I can appreciate your new contest ideas, but I can't do certain things...like liking a Capybara for example (to me it's just another rodent, a giant oversized rat! )...or giving answers to questions with linked songs (that's like asking me to reply in Tiktok jargon, that's not for me either ).

Cool idea to some...icy idea to me, hahaha.
