Sneaky Marketing Emails

Recommended Posts

I’m sure we’ve all seen it all when it comes to emails from Casinos ..

Subject lines to get you to open the email are usually always misleading, but this one takes it to a different level.

Your return is being processed…

As it happens, I have returned some things lately, so naturally I seen this and thought that’s a weird sender and opened it, only to find this..

'Your return is being processed' simply means the sender wants you to return to their website, usually with some free spins or a deposit bonus offer to get you playing. I've gotten a few of such emails so far, but I don't find them misleading though, cos the casino's name (or an affiliate) would appear as the sender, and I'd know what that mail would be about.

Maybe that's just me.

If I return an item in the UK and the receiver is processing it, this is the subject line that would be used.

I’ve never visited this casino once fo return. I’ve just checked and the name of the person sending it isn’t the casino it’s ‘Sender’

Looks like a marketing ploy, absolutely misleading subject line for me

If that's the case, then it certainly is a marketing ploy...a misleading one! 😉

100 no deposit free spins would have been a much more attractive subject line 😉

And I would GLADLY sign up and take it up! 🤣

Regardless of if misleading or not, it's certainly cheap and tacky looking:  it's not even, from a marketing perspective, good: almost like a mail merge went wrong.

What casino are they flaunting their wares towards? Doubt it's a legit UK one: probably some 'non-gamstop' casino., in that case it's just spam.

Aspire Globals marketing emails are pretty shoddy as well.

I crossed out the casino name, but it's one we have  in our directory, licensed MGA, no UK and it's actually the reason why I was shocked at this email. I get spam emails every day, never even open them, the only reason why I opened this is becuse of the subject line.

I did not click the casino link but it is a reviewed, licensed casino.

I recently got an email from some random id which had a promotion offer of a Dama NV site with  AskGamblers trust certificate logo and that casino is not even listed on our site.

Can you please DM me the name of the casino please so I can report it.
