Cicadasinthetrees78
I see there are a lot of Progressplay casinos and books (but not these ones) on here already, some with positive reviews, so be careful. I placed some bets at dog odds not expecting them to come in. I had been using Betsteve, Betdukes and 2kbets since late May, early June. The one account at each site, no bonuses. I withdrew £25800 total on 7th July when I was all finished. I was already verified, but sent another set of documents anyway cause I know how this goes. Then I waited 2 weeks. It’s now 27th July. Had no emails since the withdrawal, which is still listed as pending. Now I’m emailing no one will answer. And live chat says to wait for an email. Yeah, I know I made a mistake using them but too late now. And they’re licensed by the UKGC so I’m sure it’ll sort itself out but thought I’d make myself busy. Outside of that, there’s some dodgy stuff with Progressplay Limited. Two names, Sophie Roberts the support manager and Stuart James in the security and verification department appear on sign up emails but they appear nowhere on the internet, except in other complaints. Going back 2016. Are these people real? Maybe, maybe not. Found a phone number with a London area code that goes to a recorded message. And their headquarters is either in Cyprus or Malta, maybe both, maybe neither. This is a really crappy mystery to be fair, but don’t need a deerstalker to know something’s amiss. Blackjax
Are you sure they are licensed by UKGC? It shows curacao license to me. Or maybe they have two licenses. I have played at two Progressplay casinos. Mr Mobi and Casimpo. Could never manage a cashout but looked decent and they have good rating. I hope you get your money. Have you tried the AGCCS for complaint against them?
Cicadasinthetrees78
I rung the UKGC today, they confirmed they know these books and that they’re licensed here. They actually have tens of sister sites here in the UK, probably god knows how many abroad. Which is why I can’t make a AGCCS complaint; some labels are represented here, whilst these are not. Even though they all belong to Progressplay Limited. It’s very strange. Trying to sort this, I’ve found lots of complaints going back years. But not all of them mention Progressplay’s responsibility so you’d think the problem is just one label ie. Betsteve, not the whole thing. Blackjax
Looks like the company is targetting payers with certain license to certain countries to avoid jurisdictions for their potential wrong doing. Btw the license for my region is Curacao. We need an expert in this topic. Someone who likes to feast on casinos like these with his beautiful words. kayenne23
To me it states that it's licenced by UKGC. I have strong belief that the casino is using 2 licences in order to target more countries. If you read the terms in the end it states that it is also licenced by MGA. So I think it's triple licenced. I saw it once with an Asian based casino which stated that it had all the licences such as ukgc, MGA, Curacao, pagcor. (it ended up having only the Curacao one) Blackjax
Afi4wins
A big number of Asian-based online casinos are operating without any license! Some casinos show a PAGCOR license, but it's a fake! Most casinos don't show any license at all. Only one casino that I have seen that showed a PAGCOR and an MGA license, but I don't know if that's true or not. I don't play at that casino, so I didn't bother to check out its license, but it may be true though...something like Bet365 Casino. Whenever I asked their live chat host "where's your casino license?", they would reply back "Malaysia has no license for online casino"...which is bullsheet of course! When I argue further, they would quickly end the chat! Hahaha.
ValDes
Hi there @Cicadasinthetrees78 and welcome to AskGamblers Forum Yeah, none of the Operators mentioned in your post are currently listed on AG which means that unfortunately, you cannot use AGCCS and file a complaint against them. You are free to use their ADR provider thou, more details here: Good luck and keep us posted!

This is what experts would call "Real Geo-Targeting In Action!" ProgressPlay is one of UK's biggest gambling companies with over 200 registered domain names - https://www.gamblingcommission.gov.uk/public-register/business/detail/domain-names/39335. How come a legit UKGC licensed business is allowed to offer Curacao license product (although under different company name of course ) is truly beyond me, really... Man the audacity and lack of respect this casino has shown to every single term is beyond belief. I still got the answer by the director of pagcor stating that dafabet has lost its licence a long time ago and at the same time dafa was stating that it got licences from every single commission such as ukgc, mga, curacao, pagcor, AND the kahnawake licence as well. I mean come on gimme me a break. Afi4wins

I really thought the wager terms were really low compared to other casinos. I wanted to sign up and they said I need a passport for ID verification. I was skeptical in giving my passport to a casino in those times so I passed. Now I read this andvI am thankful I did not. kayenne23

Afi4wins
I also used to play at several Progessplay casinos, before country restrictions came into force, but none became a favourite of mine. In fact, I didn't even like any of them at all and had all my accounts closed. Even if there are no country restrictions now, I wouldn't want to go back to Progressplay casinos! Nah mate i only play at BetJohn, BetSimon was good for bonus's but not as good as their sister, BetFreda. Always think 'Laws' of 'Curacao' is an oxymoron as i don't think there really are any. Pretty sure they make those licence numbers up as well Cicadasinthetrees78
Cicadasinthetrees78
Forgot to update, I did actually get paid by these jokers 3 weeks after the first withdrawal. Rang me day before and said it was basically a source of funds hold up, like it was no big deal. IBAS and UKGC were helpful to be fair, for anyone in the same boat. pinnit2015
Don't know if PP used to be ok...started adding x3 max cash outs to bonus's etc (pretty sure they didn't exist at the start): if you liked bonus play, they were a no no. Never really played there that much tbh, never liked the feel of their sites.

AFAIK, it's x5 the max cash out for Depo offers, if you claim a freebie, they limit it to x3 the bonus amount or free spins winnings. pinnit2015

Far cry from Redbet who, even though their terms stated for No Deposit spins the max cash out was 100, very rarely implemented their own policy! Once i had 10 FS in Finn, got to 2 quid, hit a bonus, another game and found self at 500 after an hour. Put the W/D request in, expecting to see 100 and they put through the entire 500. Nektans, or whover they are now, also had x3/5 i think.

I remember had 20 spins won like 1 or 2 euro, and opened Jammin Jars, hit x1500 and got 300 euro withdrawal within a few hours. I like Casumo, VS and Redbet , Winz.io for the fact that FS winning has no max cap. Mind you, some Direx N.V casino emailing 200 free spins for deposit of 20 however the maximum amount you can win from the free spins is 50 euro...
