I created a bet365 account in my sister’s name with her permission, as I’m a profitable gambler and was looking to make some money. However I stupidly decided to deposit with my own Apple Pay. There’s 3 k in there right now but the account is slightly down in terms of profit, so can I get that money back or do they now have the right to keep the money entirely?

I think they will find out if you try to verify your account anyways. Its better off you tell your sister to tell casino that she accidentally used your Apple pay. It would make more sense. If you tell them you used her identity its more like identity theft and they might confiscate your money and only return initial deposit.

Bet365 tend to be pretty much instant payers so chances are if you put it through it'll be ok but if they pick up on it without you telling them it'll likely be adios amigo.

You'd probably need to tell them, pretending to be ur sister (which is another issue altogether; i really don't get why people do this - well, i do, i just think it's a pretty silly move to make) and pass it off as a mistake - some casino's are fine with that if they get confirmation but still, if you're doing this as a matter of course, STOP: aside from the above you're impersonating someone else which is an offence in itself.

Why not create an account in your own name?

Re Verification - Bet365, UK wise anyway, don't ask for docs - they do it in the background so chances are if the OP used their sisters details it'll be sitting verified anyway. They also don't tend to ask for evidence of the cards etc.

The only way, if they didn't make the above 'mistake' (sorry OP but the mistake is playing under someone else, not the use of apple pay), someones casino's will find out things like this is if they do SOW and maybe see transactions between the 'named' account holder and the actual person playing, and they may start to ask q's and it wont take long, if they are half decent, to work out it's Ruth, not, Leanne playing the slots etc

Hey there @Hazzababe2 and welcome to our forum! :)

Like already mentioned above, you'd better raise the matter with the Operator ASAP and admit the whole truth. Doing so will most likely trigger a verification upon yourself AND your sister but since you claimed the account was created with her permission that shouldn't be a problem actually.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Yeah, we will never know the story of how, or why,  such a 'profitable' gambler had to create a sock account to play casino games 😋
