STAY AWAY FROM MARSBET

I think we all jumped to a conclusion regarding that age limit thing.

I just contacted live chat and they said there is an age limit to avoid identity thefts. The casino had cases were young relatives were using identity/documents  of old relatives  for gambling. Old people who had no knowledge of gambling. This is something @ValDes also mentioned in the why we need kyc  thread. I think its a good approach. I favor the casino on this one.

The most targeted age groups for ID thefts are not the over 60's; it is in fact the 30-39 year old age group.

Shall we ban them as well?

Plus, it's irrelevant if you do KYC properly, the bulk should be caught regardless of age

But it would likely still fall foul of the Equality Act

Plus, why do we give out mortgages to over 60's if they are so vulnerable?

Nah, it's horses@@

Oops. I think Mr P you made the mistake of judging the top google result as general. That number you gave is for US and for year 2019/2020 only.  We dont have any numbers for Identity theft for gambling. Our only trusted source can be Valdes and Cocopop who deal with these complaints at agcs. Valdes himself confessed that some cases of Kyc are unbelievable.

Most importantly UK citizens are the biggest example of Identity theft criminals and victims. Lets not forget UK as a whole has been banned to take bonuses because of their notorious bonus abuse. So much so the UK casinos dont allow neteller/skrill deposits to claim deposit bonuses. If people can steal peoples identity to create e wallets then bonus abuse at casino is stealing candy from a kid.

Damn those pesky UK citizens ruining it for everyone 😉

In regards to their reasoning behind the over 60’s I’m afraid I don’t buy it either, it’s still discrimination however you look at it.

I assume you are looking from a point of view of  people who wants to take a bonus. Imagine it from a point of view of a 60 + whose if/documents  or cards are used. It's better for them. I won't be surprised  if we see more of these. Ukgc has already blocked credit cards for deposits  I guess. It may not be related to this but it's a sign of what's coming  next.

What difference would that 60 years age ruling make if cheaters use their elders ID/cards/ewallets to make deposits at casinos, without taking any bonus? It still counts as cheating and fraud, so that 60 years age limit is really a STUPID ruling!

Nobody does a fraud to play with real money. No point in doing fraud just to play with real money. That's  what you are missing. Bonus abuse is a big problem for casinos and in maximum  case identity  theft is done by a younger  person of an old person who is unaware of gambling (I assume). Casino can never stop bonus abuse. But in this case this casino has lowered their chance of being scammed by a younger person by reducing age limit.

Guys the age limit is a term. Unfair? Yes.

But what's more unfair..? An age limit or 100 free spins with a 0.01 bet instead of 0.10 cents?

The casino is very fragile when it comes to bonus terms. No max bet no excluded slots.

Whoever wins here, might never see his winnings.

No max bet or excluded slots but an age limit. How bizarre! Did you actually get the spins then and if so what did you get from them?

I actually got the 0.01 per spin, free spins. I won maybe 3 or 5 cents from the 100fs. It was a great experience. While i was spinning those reels i felt so ''low'' inside, i mean i had hopes i could win something while my inside was telling me ''why on earth do you even play them, dont you have any pride? '' . ahahaha.  I closed my account via responsbile gaming tools forever and i still receive emails by marsbet saying that my docs got rejected and i need to send them new ones.  Anyway, the casino has many holes in the system. Should be avoided.

I think you better include Mystake Casino into your black book too. I played at that blardy casino because you had played there and written a review on it...not that I'm blaming you mate!

Hey mate! Yeah I tried it once. To me it didn't change bets out of the blue.  I think I won't be playing there either. Lately I have been playing in bad casinos.

Hi @kayenne23 are you still playing  at Mars Bet?

The chat told me that none of the games are restricted from bonus play can you confirm that. Also I wanted to know that wagering there is 35 times bonus so is it like those Dama/N1 type where wager starts from first spin or is it like leo Vegas or Other No Sticky casino?

 Thanks in advance.

Nope. I closed my account after the incident. It's the first impression that makes you stay or leave.

I saw a review on Coinbuzz that said these guys had changed to Katsubet. To be honest, I thought Katsubet was okay. I didn't stick around for very long and basically left when i used my bonus, but I could say the same for 100+ other casinos. I never tried Mars Casino, so I can't comment on that. New management maybe? Maybe they saw this post and jumped ship.

katsubet used to be mars casino. Not marsbet.  Katsubet and 7bit casino are under the same management.
