Monday went well top 5 for rd1 to easily move to rd2, but then didn't progress to rd3 (2 players I saw that used a continue in rd2 to move to rd3 both of them then finished top 10 in rd3, one of them had done it in same tourney a few weeks ago.) Then for the 100K march to riches, registered late and then scored low, but went for one continue and that was a bit better. (one small feature 12x) took a short break to play Agent Jane and hit big on that and didn't bother with using the remaining 3 continues in the tourney. Seen many tourney regs names in the top 80, I am sure they were spending upwards of around 250EUR in the tourney, to have about 5 attempts with all 4 continues per buy in. (61st to 80th places get 250e) Will play the 1K3DS tonight. (rd1) . No free entries.

yes you got it right this time, Monday is fun day for the start of the 1K3DS

I want to get that achievement some day but the least amount of continues ever used to finish top 10, was 2 (in a 3K3DS with a free entry). just great, played 90 qualifier freerolls on Friday and not a single free entry from them. Sometimes it's like that.
-
quick update, not much has happened, that 2K3DS didn't use continues in the 3rd round.. and then the next tourneys had 2 free entries into the 1K3DS and 2 free entries into the 3K3DS, in both tourneys progressed to the 3rd round but no continues used in the 3rd round... Couple days ago won the 3 hr Freeroll on Leagues of Fortune. (2nd time this month and 3rd time this year). Friday will seek to win some more free entries and hopefully they will run better in 3rd round enough for me to use continues to get in top 10 or even a top 10 without any continues.

now in the 3rd round of 2K3DS...

I know most continues used in a losing tourney! after that 1st set I could have just said nah no continues but I gave it a token continue to see if it improves and it did improve so much so that I had to do more continues, it lured me in to spend more on it only to stop giving in the 4th, 5th and 6th sets. Should have listened to myself after the first set.

Had a shot at the 1K3DS tourney, 66 entrants, unknown end of first round, inside top 10 at end of 2nd round and outside top 20 at end of 3rd round. (1 feature in Rd2 and 1 feature in Rd3) Anyway 56 moved to round 2, then 39 moved to round 3 and in round 3, 36 players had a spin. Three players that placed in the top 10 previous 1K3DS , made the top 10 this time. (one of them has a 3 1K3DS win streak and two have a 2 1K3DS win streak) In round 3, used 5 continues, first set was very low but went for a continue anyway to see if it improves and the 2nd set was very good but then the 3rd set was still ok but after that all remaining sets were too low. Also currently in Rd2 of the 2K3DS.

gotta place in the top 30 in the free qualifiers to win a free entry into the 1K3DS/2K3DS/3K3DS survivors. So far this year have won 8 free entries to the survivor tourneys and the 9th looks likely (for the 2K-3DS).
-
the 1K3DS starts on mondays. (no free entry to that this week), and the 2K3DS starts on wednesday (will get free entry into that by the looks via qualifier)
-
3 day survivor tourneys run every week.
-
1.50EUR each continue (up to 5 continues per buy-in) in a 1K3DS,..... then its 2.50EUR each in a 2K3DS and then 5EUR each in a 3K3DS.
-
But say you had a strong starting set of spins, even you might be tempted to spend on a continue or two to get yourself into that top 10 group. But it could be possible to not have to spend on continues in a tourney but so far that hasn't been the case for me and have always had to spend at least 2 continues.
-
late wd accepted... and taking the most recent 1K3DS , about 28 of 37 had used at least one continue in the final round. So we looking at 75% of the field and it's probably similar in other 1Ks and 2Ks and 3Ks. The rest will just play their free entry and not bother with spending on a single continue that's if they even remember to play their free entry.

Had a shot at the 1K3DS tourney, 69 entrants, outside top 40 end of first round, inside top 10 at end of 2nd round and outside top 20 at end of 3rd round. (1 feature in Rd2) Anyway 59 moved to round 2 (49 had a spin), then 41 moved to round 3 and in round 3, 37 players had a spin. Five players that placed in the top 10 previous 1K3DS (one of them has a 4 1K3DS win streak and two have 3 1K3DS win streaks), made the top 10 this time. In round 3, used 1 continue , first set was very low and so was the 2nd set and decided not to continue anymore.

Had a shot at the 2K3DS tourney (via free entry), 60 entrants, (outside top 40 end of first round, outside top 20 at end of 2nd round aaaaaand inside top 10 at end of 3rd round (first time ever to make the top 10 in a 2K3DS). (features in the 1st, 2nd and 5th sets of the 3rd round ) Anyway 51 moved to round 2 (unknown had a spin), then 36 moved to round 3, 38 had a spin) and in round 3, 31 players had a spin. Three players that placed in the top 10 previous 2K3DS, made the top 10 this time. In round 3, used 5 continues (only really needed 4), first set was high, 2nd set was decent, 3rd and 4th were low, 5th was decent and 6th was low. No free entries won for next week so will probably only enter the 1K3DS.

Had a shot at the 1K3DS tourney (via free entry), 74 entrants, (outside top 50 end of first round, outside top 40 at end of 2nd round aaaaaand inside top 10 at end of 3rd round. (1 feature in the first set of the 3rd round) Anyway 63 moved to round 2 (55 had a spin), then 44 moved to round 3, 47 had a spin) and in round 3, 41 players had a spin. Three players that placed in the top 10 previous 1K3DS, made the top 10 this time. In round 3, used 5 continues (only really needed 4), first set was decent, 2nd set was very low scoring, and the 3rd set was very high scoring, 4th and 5th were decent and 6th was low. Also currently in the 2nd round of the 2K3DS (via free entry). This month there is a 100K March to Riches Slot tourney on the Finer Reels of Life. Same rules as previous 100K where 10EUR is entry fee and up to 4 continues at 10EUR each.

Had a shot at the 1K3DS tourney (via free entry), 65 entrants, (outside top 20 end of first round, outside top 20 at end of 2nd round and outside top 20 at end of 3rd round. (no features in any round) Anyway 55 moved to round 2 (45 had a spin), then 39 moved to round 3, 42 had a spin) and in round 3, 36 players had a spin. Two players that placed in the top 10 previous 1K3DS, made the top 10 this time. (both players have been top 10 in the last 3 1K3DS tourneys) In round 3, used 2 continues, first set was ok, 2nd set was not as good, and the 3rd set was half good as the 2nd and it was decided not to do any more continues. And in the 10KMM, the first set was decent but not fully tempted to do continues this time, maybe with a better start. Next week will take a shot at the 1K3DS and 2K3DS (both likely with free entries).

Some updates: Had a shot at the 10K Midweek Moolah tourney (via free entry), 128 entrants. Anyway there was an issue with the reels not stopping and after several times of closing it and re-opening only managed to have a few spins on it before time ran out. Contacted support about this and they contacted MG and they confirmed the problem and said will get entry into the next Midweek Moolah. This problem probably affected only those that had the free entries. Meanwhile our friend 'chugger' managed a 2nd placing in the tourney for 1250EUR and a 1st place in the 2K3DS. On a positive note did get a top 5 in the 3 hour freeroll (Leagues of Fortune) yesterday (first time for the year) and also it looks likely I will get a free entry into the next 1K3DS tourney.

Had a shot at the 1K3DS tourney, 66 entrants, (inside top 10 end of first round (2 features!), outside top 40 at end of 2nd round and didn't progress to the 3rd round. (first time ever not to progress to 3rd round). Anyway 56 moved to round 2 (49 had a spin), then 39 moved to round 3, 44 had a spin) and in round 3, all 39 players had a spin. Three players that placed in the top 10 previous 1K3DS have made the top 10 this time.

Had a shot at the 1K3DS tourney, 69 entrants, (outside top 20 end of first round, outside top 20 at end of 2nd round and outside top 20 at end of 3rd round. (no features in any round, feature drought) Anyway 59 moved to round 2 (46 had a spin), then 41 moved to round 3, 36 had a spin) and in round 3, 35 players had a spin. One player that placed in the top 10 previous 1K3DS, made the top 10 this time. In round 3, used 2 continues, first set was good (slightly better than the first set of my winning tourneys 1st set), 2nd set was less than half as good as 1st, and the 3rd set was half good as the 2nd and it was decided not to do any more continues.

I'd say he does up to 5 re-buys with 5 continues per re-buy. so if he does that in a 1K3DS then spend total up to 64 to win 100 (profit 36). If in 2K3DS then spend up to total 108 to win 200 (profit 92), and if in 3K3DS then spend up to 199.50 to win 300 (profit 100.50). These include the initial buy in and continues. Here are the winners list of the first 16 survivor tourneys of this year. There will be total of about 156 survivor tourneys this year thus we are at just over 10% point. results of first 16 survivor tourneys.bmp

Checked the stats and there is this one player: chugger ,that has been in the top 10 in each of the last 8 survivor tourneys, and looks certain to be in the top 10 of the current 3K3DS, that would make it top 10 in each of the last 9 survivor tourneys!. Some serious run good+re-buying for sure to achieve that. Not only that but he also got a top 20 in the recent 20K monthly monster where the top 20 won 1K EUR each.

I appreciate your support (as always) and will keep you updated (as always) and another win is most welcome (as always)

next 1K3DS starts Monday (as always) and won't be via a freebie.

Had a shot at the 1K3DS tourney, 68 entrants, (outside top 20 end of first round, outside top 20 at end of 2nd round and outside top 20 at end of 3rd round. Anyway 58 moved to round 2 (51 had a spin), then 41 moved to round 3, (unknown # had a spin) and in round 3, 36 players had a spin. Two players that placed in top 10 previous 1K3DS, made the top 10 this time (one of them has three consecutive 1K3DS wins). In round 3, used 1 continue and since the first two sets were low scoring decided not to do any more continues, will probably use this rule for any future 1K3DS.
